The men running this beautiful BnB are by far the friendliest and kind people we have had the pleasure of meeting on our travels. Both super knowledgeable about the town and surrounding towns. The property is stunning and leagues above other options available in town. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout and very homely, while still being elegant and upscale. Overall we were made to feel so comfortable and welcome and the men where like visiting family :)

A very richly decorated B&B, very well heated to ward off the chill of an early winter. We were greeted by Ken who was very helpful and very happy to sit down over a cuppa and chat about his experiences and provide suggestions for dinner. Breakfast was prompt and delicious.

Bathroom was a bit small and the location, while very conveniently close to town, was a typical residential block with no notable views. There was a bit of traffic noise in the morning.

Beautiful room with adjoining lounge and en-suite made for a luxurious feel and a peaceful sleep. The gardens are immaculate and such a pleasure to sit on the verandah and watch the world go by. Being treated to an evening glass of wine, wonderful conversation and a breakfast of my choosing are just a few of the added touches that makes the Birches extra special.

A little oasis right in the heart of Taree. Close to shops, hospitals and all essentials. it is immaculately clean. The bed is so comfortable. The host Ken is fantastic. Goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. He also make a delicious breakfast. Thank you so much for our stay!

Hosts Mark & Ken go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The B&B is in a beautiful old home that has been wonderfully restored. It is perfect for a romantic couples escape or just a nice place to stopover for a day or 2 as my wife and myself did.

Easily one of the best B&B I have ever been to. The house is beautiful and so incredibly comfortable, the hosts are truly amazing. Worth the trip just to stay here. The bed was not only huge and wonderfully soft, the added sitting room elevated a brilliant space to perfection.

We walked into the "Birches" B&B and felt instantly at home. The décor is fabulous. The whole property is immaculately clean and tidy. Ken and Mark are perfect lovely hosts. Nothing was a problem. Truly a home away from home! The breakfast was unique creation of Ken. We got hooked on the delicious muesli with fresh fruit. Best ever sleep in a comfortable bed. Peaceful location and close to good restaurants and shopping centers. We can highly recommend this Unique B&B and are very grateful to have had the opportunity to stay!

I liked the personalised touch and country hospitality with Ken sitting down at the breakfast table telling a few stories to his guests. The little touches in the sitting room and his availability to assist in your stay no matter how small!

Excellent presentation and hosts were outstanding. The B&B decor was perfect. Beautiful bed rooms and casual rooms. The little niceties such as chocolates and a welcome drink are just what the doctor ordered. And included breakfast and coffee is the best.

Hosts were fantastic. Facilities were exceptional. Breakfast was outstanding. No need for lunch. This is exactly what a B&B should be. Fantastic value for money. Internet was great. You could not ask for better hosts. Good location. Beautifully renovated home.
