The location suited us, low road noise. Our room was clean. Queen bed only in the room so not a huge room but there was only the two of us. Limited hanging space for clothes if needed, rung above the microwave. No other robe space. Shower water pressure was fabulous and wonderful temperature. As a point of interest, the key is collected from the bar at the hotel next door, Manning River Hotel. Staff are lovely and food was great for lunch.

We were there in mid July and were hoping for electric blankets on the bed or another blanket to use when the room got very cold, Neither were present. If booking here bring your own electric throw or a spare blanket with you. Yes there is an air conditioner but with respect for our fellow travellers, we turned it off at 10pm.

This is a great budget hotel - large room with crisp clean sheets, older styled but clean bathroom and kitchenette (kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave).

I had to check in at the pub next door with my child in tow and wait 15min for them to serve drinks to others first which wasn’t great. I was then advised the online price was incorrect and I would be required to pay $20 more. I told them that error was not my fault and I had a confirmed reservation at the lower price which they agreed to honour. On the flip side later that night when I accidentally locked my key in the room and had to return to the pub - the staff were super helpful and left straight away with us to open the room with a spare key. The pub next door was a bit noisy at night but not enough to keep us from sleeping.

The check in lady was nice helped me out heaps. This hotel is basic obviously for the price. There was a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. At 80 a night for a solo traveller you couldnt ask for more. I was expecting a hard bed but no, it was comfy. The shower was so hot and powerful i was clean in seconds. Dont let the exterior decieve you this place is a great budget hotel.

Great location would have explored more if we weren't on a long road trip back to Melbourne. We stayed on a Saturday night it is right next to a Pub and the patrons weren't too loud.

It was a little confusing on the entrance and the late check-in next door at the pub but that was probably just cause I was super tired.

Great for a stop in your trip. The bed was very comfortable. Better than those with the Accor Group beds. Parking close to room. Clean. Quiet. Convenient. Best value. I am back next week.

The signage is poor and makes access difficult off the main road. Having to go to the pub next door for the key as I was traveling alone and I felt vulnerable. Lovely pub though.

Was asked to sign a list of items in the room. ie. Towels, TV, Microwave etc and cost to replace if stolen before we had seen the room. Not happy about that as we were unable to check if all the items were in the room before we HAD to sign to get key. No Hair Dryer.

it was super clean the sheets and towels were crisp and white and the shower was the best I’ve ever had. the room is modest but the water pressure was excellent and the water was hot. I especially liked the Tarif which was $80 so cheap, walking to the bistro for dinner was also excellent

The process of collecting keys from other hotel at the back and finding no one in the office is frustrating but its less expensive then other motels so its balances out.

Staff

Staff on the telephone & at reception are always so friendly & efficient every time I require a room .. coming from Miranda 2228 makes me feel so comforting & I have a stressful drive .. thank you so much. Kindest regards Jenny Avery

Shower needs a safety rail to aide getting out of it. I requested booking.com for a ground floor room as I have had a knee replacement but I was given an upstairs room. But in their favour, they did reduce the tariff because it was their last room.
