Forstay Motel0

This was one of the cleanest motels I have ever stayed at. The new owners are proud of that they are doing, and it shows. The friendliness of the staff was outstanding, and the location is excellent - an easy walk to the centre of town. Also, the complimentary Wi-Fi is very fast (unlike a lot of other properties). This will be our accommodation of choice whenever we come to Forster in future.

The servo next door is noisy and brights but as it closes down at 2130 every night it is not a problem. Probably the worst aspect of the room is the curtains are useless in blocking out light. Proper block out curtains and rail would be good as when the servo opens in the morning the bright lights just shine through...

loved the staff ! so sweet and helpful! location to the beach (Forster beach and Rockpool) was 5-10 min walk. Short walk to pub and restaurants room was clean and tidy.

it’s next door to a servo (on one side only) doors slamming , engines revving, and people moving about till late and up early.. light filters into rooms etc (we were top floor , near the front) per previous reviews - parking spots are made for 80s cars- all of us had 4wds- hard to move in and out .. common for older properties tho! we made it work. No pool bathroom flooded when shower on…

The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable and provided a sound sleep. The motel was quiet and we were not disturbed by any traffic noise The position of the motel was great. Walking distance to all the attractions we wanted.

The hot water pressure was weak and slow in coming through. However, it was sufficient to provide good water flow and temperature in the shower.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and were happy to top up our tea and coffee etc. The location was walking distance to restaurants, cafes, and the beach. The bed was very clean and comfortable, and the room had very good natural light. There were extra pillows and a blanket. The tiny kitchenette was tidy and had a clean kettle, toaster, microwave, and small fridge. There were clean cutlery and bowls, plates, and cups. The air conditioner worked well. The TV worked well. The towels were clean and comfortable to use.

The room was spotless, shiny-bright ! The location perfect, close to the beach, and an easy walk to cafes/restaurants/town centre. Both Brian and receptionist so friendly and welcoming, with helpful information.

Some strange 'water noise' which happened indiscriminately ... even through the night. Like the toilet tank was refilling. Strange, and eventually I could overlook it.

The room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The Manger Ella, I think her name was delightful! Super helpful of places to eat and visit. Very welcoming. Motel in a great location close to everything and great price.

It was just a bit noisy in that you could here the toilets flushing next door but that can be a common theme in a lot of motels.

Great location, room was big with a fridge and microwave etc and bathroom was sizeable. The shower was glass, no shower curtain which made it feel more hygienic. If you’re after a comfortable overnight stay for a great price, stay here. It served its purpose well

It’s an older style motel, looks a bit shabby on the inside with the furnishings and paintwork.

The room had everything we needed for the short stay, including a microwave. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. The location was exceptional, walking distance to places to swim and shops and restaurants. We'd definitely stay here again.

It's a motel, so you know what you get and what you don't get, so no negative comments.

The property was so easy to find and such great value for money. It’s simple but definitely worth what we paid. Very close to the beach and shops, within walking distance. Staff were lovely and made us feel welcome.

Our bed wasn’t made on the second day of our stay.

The motel manager ensured that our room was in a downstairs quiet location . He also arranged for us to use our Stay NSW vouchers as part payment.

There could have been additional drinking glasses provided and we were not able to get the remote control for the TV to work on the second night.
