Marco Polo Motor Inn

From the moment we arrived for our 3 night stay to the very last minute, everything was above and beyond our expectations. Lisa on reception was very welcoming and spent allot of time explaining where to shop, eat and relax. We bought a couple of bottles of Sav Blanc from her which were chilled to perfection and were absolutely top quality. We enjoyed a bottle in the back garden which has AMAZING views of the river. Here we were greeted by 2 gorgeous lizards that apparantly call the garden their home. The unit itself was immaculate. Very clean and spacious and even had a coffee pod machine. Shops and restaurants were all within walking distance. Thanks Lisa for such a wonderful stay. We will definitely recommend to family and friends and we'll definitely make this our home when visiting Taree again. Thanks again Daria

Nothing at all we can comment on.

Comfortable bed. Spacious, light room. Good shower. Room was old (tiles, cupboards etc) but clean and fresh! Lovely warm, friendly welcome when I arrived. Grateful for low scent, i.e. there was no strong perfume or detergent/cleaning smells on entering the room or on the sheets!

Minor things: Blue light on power panel beside bed. There was no detergent or tea towel for plate/cup/cutlery cleaning.

Well located for our overnight stay. Enabled us to have an interesting walk with varied scenery. the room we were allocated had plenty of space; we didn't feel we were squashed into a small room with nowhere to comfortably move.

Light over the bathroom mirror needed encouragement to work, (i.e. a tap on the end) possibly a loose connection - not an issue, just needed ingenuity to negate the limitation. All good.

The room size is excellent. Plenty of space, excellent hot water and bathroom toiletries. Really liked the pump bottles and the addition of the body lotion and shaving cream for men

Nothing wrong with the property just some slight cosmetic touch ups like repainting the bench and cupboard surfaces and replacing the missing floor tile at bathroom entrance would complete the overall pleasant experience.

The staff/ owners were extremely friendly, polite, welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the toiletries were lovely.

There was a bit of a stale smoke smell probably from before the room was refurbished and the air conditioning was a bit noisy but these did not detract too much from the overall positive experience of my stay.

The room we had was a little dated but was really clean and comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

It was an out of the ordinary hot day (41 degrees), and as we had pre booked, it would have been nice for the air conditioning to have been turned on and the room cooled for us. But this is being picky and no way impacted on our stay.

Lovely Motor Inn and could not fault it if I tried.Big rooms very comfortable bed. Everything was very clean. Price was excellent and the owners were lovely. I highly recommend Marco Polo Motor Inn in Taree and will definately be returning. Highly recommend.

There was absolutely Nothing I didn't like. Everything was just perfect.

Management and cleaning staff were so accommodating and friendly. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was a bother. They greeted us with a smile everyday and a chat. The room was very clean and everything worked well . The pillows were very good and the bed was very comfy. The wifi was excellent and we enjoyed their Smart TV where we could access our Netflix account, YouTube, Google Play, Chromecast etc. It's close to venues that have good meals at reasonable prices. We would highly recommend the Marco Polo to fellow travellers.

Convenient stay when travelling between Brisbane and Sydney

The towels were brand new so when you dried yourself all the material went everywhere. Very minor complaint though but they should be washed prior.

The lady at reception was fantastic. The best welcome I have had in over 30 years of travelling. Even gave us free drinks on arrival... that is a very pleasant first for my family. The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Only very minor one, the coffee cups need to be a bit bigger.
