Art Hotel Vienna

The breakfast ‘over-seized’ my expectations:it was so rich, plentiful and for each&everybody’s taste and religion/confession. Top notch! It is my pleasure to especially praise the staff who are multi, multi-lingual and exrenely polite and helpful. The location is awesome, close to the U-bahn and Strasse-bahnen. Quite a few of cute cafè-restaurants in the vicinity. And the perk is-each room has a balcony with a very posh garden furniture. The cleaning ladies are extremely tidy. Many regards to the lovely staff from Republic of Serbia!

Reception personnel is very nice and helpful. Rooms and toilet are very spacious and well equipped for 3* hotel. For breakfast you don't have many choices, but if you are not that picky, you can eat very nicely. Bus 59a stops at 200m distance, but if you are up for 800-900m stroll, metro and tram are also good choice. Neighborhood is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully.

Cleanliness is acceptable, but can be improved. I didn't see stains on the sheets or towels, but i saw a hair on the pillow. Also at breakfast once i saw lipstick stains on the glass. Aforementioned bus 59a, which is the closest, can be very crowded in the morning.

It is a very nice hotel, with a very beautiful design from the outside and nice paintings inside which are also for sale for art lovers. Access to the city center is easy and fast as there are two bus stops near the hotel (three minutes on foot). The room was very warm and we could relax on our return from the trip to the city which was very cold. The room had a nice view and hot water throughout the day. The breakfast was good, there was variety in the buffet for all tastes as well as coffee. The staff was kind and helpful. The WiFi was fast.

There were no sheets on the bed, only a fitted sheet. The breakfast some days ran out quickly and was not replenished regularly. The TV was very old and had a bad viewing angle. There were also no sockets near the bed to charge our mobile phones. In the bathroom there was no shampoo and shower gel but only a 3 in 1 shampoo. (shampoo, shower gel and hand soap). There was no fridge in the room.

Garage parking was an advantage eventhough it was super tricky to park there as ut was narrow and really steep. Breakfast was simple but good, the location is quiet, close to train station and other places like grocery store, ATM, pharmacy and others.

The furnishings is super old and there were actually two lamps right on the bed in such a weird position that sitting in the bed was impossible and my husband actually hurt his head pretty bad when he tried to get up. Also, had to wait pretty long to check out as there was no one at the reception and once they got there they just took the room key and left again, awkward.

Great breakfast choice from buffet. Good selection of different items. Nice interior of hotel. Many restaurants and supermarkets within short walk (Lidl, Billa etc). Good location although Vienna is quite a large town and I timed 13 minute walk to the nearest underground line. 30 mins or so walk to Westbahnhof and main Central station (in opposite directions), so hotel is in the middle of these if you are using trains for trips to Melk or moving onto Salzburg etc.

The only issue I found was people chat loud on balconies on the apartments near the back of the hotel (not related to hotel). This went on quite late. Otherwise hotel is quiet (I had rear facing room). The road out the front is not busy.

Breakfast was awesome. Location was very close to autobus haltestalle (I forgot the name of it) and lots of shops around. Cool art, friendly and helpful staff. I had a good view in the room (balcony?) and liked it though I didn't use it much. Would definitely book here again. It was also quiet enough for my taste.

Can be a bit confusing to get too from the U-Bann (forgot the name). Easier by bus. Bed could be a bit bigger but fair enough for the price. Dunno if they have lunch/dinner options but would have been great to know. Still good place.

Good prices, nice place, clean, the breakfast food was ok for a short stay, relatively close to public transportation means and to the city centre, there's a Billa shop 2 minutes away from the hotel and a small plaza with a few terraces but they didn't seem to be too clean or welcoming. At the end, it is a nice place to stay and it's prices are super ok. I would recommend it to my friends.

There is no terrace/balcony/on top of the block - terrace, etc where one could have stayed and drank coffee, smoke a cigarette, etc. The breakfast was pretty ok but everyday were the exact same things. For a few-days stay it is ok but for someone who stays there for a week or more, having the exact same thing would not be pleasant.

I had been at the hotel some years ago for a cultural event and always remembered it fondly. Now I stayed for the first time coming back to Vienna after having moved abroad. From the welcome at reception until check out a truly memorable stay, great location too. Good sized rooms, clean, warm, and no need for 'hot cold' - aircon as so many bigger properties now seem to accept as standard... here, a normal radiator or actually two, perfect to control temperatures according to ones desires and without getting itchy eyes from a blasting alternative; back soon I hope

Very nice place, close to all main attractions in walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. Everything was spotless clean, had the cleaning crew in our room every day to make the beds, change the towels. Bed was super comfortable, and the area in which the hotel is located is so quiet, you get a guaranteed good night's sleep.

Breakfast could be a little more diverse, it mostly had cold cuts and different types of cheese. Not for the picky guests, but it was filling and delicious nonetheless.

Breakfast happened to be good, didn't expect it for this price. Location is not far from the metro station, easy to get to the airport train station.

No electrical socket near the bed, I had to jump to the other side of the room in the morning to switch off the alarm clock. The room interior needs some renovation.
