Hotel Schani Salon

Great location close to all the shops and restaurants of Mariahilf :) you can either walk into the city centre or take the U3 tube right outside the hotel. The room was clean and the beds really comfortable. The room was nicely decorated and we liked the coffee provided in the room and lobby. Even though we had windows towards the shopping street it was quiet because there are not really restaurants or bars on the street so late at night the street is quite silent.

Nothing really to mention here. Overall a good experience even if nothing extraordinary

This place is a true hiden gem in the heart of Vienna! When we first come we had a little trouble to locate the hotel because it`s inside a residential building. But once found, we were very pleased with our choice. The location is amazing and you can do almost everything on foot. In case you need the metro or the bus, the stations are literally at the door. The room was on the small side but still comfy for a couple, with comfortable bed and good shower. The hotel doesn`t have any extra facilities than the rooms and the restaurant, but its enough for tourists who will roam around the whole day. The breakfast was small but delicious, with enough options to start the day. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

The internet didn`t work well on the iphone. It worked for social media but not for any app related to googgle - search, maps, gmail... It was a little bit of struggle once we use all of this a lot once traveling. This is something they should work on to fix quickly!

This hotel is great! It is located in a pedestrian zone of Vienna near several attractions. It is safe. There are also lots of places to do some shopping, to eat, to just enjoy a coffee. There is also a post office around the corner. The room was big, the beds were very comfortable, and the shower was great! Breakfast was abundant. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and kind. The reception is also a bar! Lauren was very gracious and genuine. I look forward to my next trip to Vienna and to stay in this hotel. Danke!

• Great location on main shopping street. Next to metro but it’s more convenient to walk to sights (15-20mins or so). • Clean and modern. Fun decorated rooms. Eg the stool was a modified suitcase for extra storage. Full size mirror was available. • Complimentary water, tea/coffee, and a biscuit upon arrival. Nespresso and teas in room too. Kettle was clean!! • Friendly front desk. Board games and snacks available in the “salon”. • One bedside table had wireless charging - so cool. • Bathroom was separate to shower/sink. Great if one of you need to take a type 2!

• No traditional hotel amenities are offered (e.g. vanity kit, slippers, iron in room, etc.) - this is a trendy millennial minded hotel. However it would be nice if they could provide small vanity kit or some hair conditioner. • We also found the wifi slow but perhaps that was due to location of the room. • They’ll email you prior to the stay and offer mobile keys instead of physical keys but this wasn’t working when we arrived.

This hotel was a nice surprise. I had only booked one night, but as soon as I arrived I felt so comfortable that I looked into moving things around so I could get one extra day - alas, it wasn't possible to reschedule my other plans. The room comes with its own espresso maker with a bunch of pods already there, perfectly functioning AC, and overall just all the little touches that make a room feel comfortable. It wasn't especially big, but I didn't feel any shortfall. The common area is really nice, with a full bar, breakfast available, and a bunch of stuff just free for the taking - fruit, candy, coffee. I helped myself to apples and bananas and cappuccinos. At the breakfast, an enthusiastic young woman popped up and offered to make me an omelet. She said they were basically just plain omelets, but somehow ended up adding cheese and spices to mine, turning the thin crepe-like egg omelet I was expecting into something much better and more substantial. The desk staff were also really helpful, giving me info on the bike program and nice areas to visit and local laundry services (although they don't offer any), where I could get a new travel adapter (although they loaned me one in the meantime), etc. Their English was somewhere between native and impeccable, and they seemed to genuinely like being helpful and to want their tips and advice to pan out. Unlike other places I stayed, they were happy to stow my bags in the afternoon after I checked out.

I only stayed one night and the following evening it rained. It would be better if they would get me to book more nights and also deliver better weather in Vienna.

Great location in the heart of Mariahilf street which is a central shopping area, various restaurants of all sorts and price range nearby, close to public transportation and easy to commute. staff was really kind and assisted with every question and request we had. The hotel's lounge had some nice board games for hotels guest to play in the evenings. Great value for money. very pleasant place to stay in.

The staff was so nice with us all the time, very helpful. Also we arrived at the hotel on 31st and they left for us water, a bottle of champagne and some sweets, really nice surprise. You can have coffee from the main room whenever you want and the bar is open 24h. The room was so nice very spacious and very well isolated. From the hotel to the Center you have like 30 min walking but also you can get the U3 line close to the hotel.

Breakfast was nice but I missed more variety, we were there 5 days and breakfast was almost the same every day (cheese, ham, vegetables...). The orange juice machine was so difficult to use it would be nice to have an automatic machine because we lost lot of time making the juices. Sometimes near the room there was a bad smell coming from the kitchen. Overall the quality was nice but the price little bit high.

Great staff, at (not short, but easy) walking distance from the centre of Vienna. The room was very nice, too.

The room was perfect, clean and nice atmosphere. The hotel met my expectations. It's a building in front of a pedestrian street with a lot of restaurants and popular nice stores. You can walk easily to downtown and explore the city. There is a subway station close to the hotel.

It's little too far from downtown, but it was easy to get there. Also when I arrived to the hotel, the staff wasn't attentive because I was at the main door in front of the street with my luggage waiting for 15 minutes, they didn't answer the ring bell. Luckily there were a tourist that had access to the hotel and they let me to get in. Also the entrance to the building should be more clean, renovated an with more signs.

This hotel is amazing. The location is very good, super close to a metro station and comfortable with Vienna's great public transportation, it's also in a big shopping street with many restaurants, and yet the hotel is very quiet. The staff was very friendly, responsive and helpful. The hotel rooms are designed beautifully and are very comfortable with everything you need. A huge plus for my girlfriend and I was that you have a snacks and coffee available 24/7 at the salon, this includes many fresh fruit and even milk alternatives which they happily provide on request- that was greatly helpful to us as we didn't get the breakfast (which looked great) so we could start our morning with a coffee. I would like to add that the room had personal AC, and a heater in the room, the shower is very nice with decent to high water pressure and hot water at any time.
