Hotel Graf Stadion

The location is great. It is on walking distance to almost all important sightseeing attractions. Breakfast is quite satisfactory. The gentleman in the reception deserves all the good comments. The elevator in the hotel is one of a kind if you love retro things. Rooms and the facility are very clean. If I go to Vienna again, I would definitely like to stay here once more.

I wanted a decent inexpensive place with to stay within a walking distance to the city centre. This hotel has fulfill my demands and preferences. It is located in a 19th century house which makes it quite charming. 20-30 minutes walk to the Opera theatre which is the very city centre. The room was modest and small but was clean and it was what we needed: a place to spend few nights. This hotel has the most amazing old elevator! It looks like a sightseeing itself.

Breakfast: Very poor choice of food: no eggs, omelets or any proper hot food. Mostly yogurts, some bakery, cheeses, ham. It wasn't bad but it wasn't filling or joyful either.

Very neat and cozy. Very center, behind the Vienna Rathaus. Good breakfast. We mentioned that we are with the kid and had pretty cozy extra bed in the room at the late arrival. Great service!

The check-in is until unusually early hour and after it the door is closed. We were lucky the staff member was around and checked us in. It was very kind but travellers please beware to warn the hotel should you plan to arrive late.

The hotel was quite near the center. It was great. There were a lot of places nearby where you colud have lunch/dinner and were cheaper that the ones in the center. The hotel was old but it has been renovated so its confortable while still maintaining the vintage feeling to it. The elevator was incredibly pretty :) The room was much bigger than expected, the breakfast was nice and the workers were reallly nice and always happy to help.

There is not a fridge in the room, what is inconvinient while travelling with an infant. The reception closes at 18:00 so when we arrive there was no one there. However they leave the keys in the mailbox with a code and everything its really easy.

Wonderful piece of authentic Vienna.   Making a step to the hotel you find yourself in the Vienna of 19 century. You don't want to wear jeans anymore - you want to wear a dress and go to the opera.  The lift in the hotel works without break for more than 100 years. The hotel is pretty close to the city center and gives you an opportunity to not use public transport, but if you want it's pretty close. There is Spar, a bio-vegan supermarket and lots of nice cafes nearby.  The owner and personnel are just awesome - you feel this atmosphere of a small, but gorgeous family. Breakfast is also great! The coffee is amazing - real Vienna's coffee! I definitely recommend Hotel Graf Stadion! Thank you for the hospitality and till we meet again!

We had a twin room which was very clean, comfortable and well equipped for a short break. The staff were very helpful, the weather was so hot when we were there and gave us when requested a fan as there is no air conditioning. The lift is lovely and the breakfast plentiful. The rooms have double doors and windows which helps keep the room quiet. The location is great, just a short walk to the Rathaus and Parliament. There is a Tram stop very close by, we bought the 7 days Vienna weekly ticket for 17 euros, so easy online and you just get on and off any Tram, bus or underground when you want, so no finding or trying to work out complicated ticket machines. You never have to wait long and digital signs are helpful. There is a Spar supermarket locally and plentiful eateries, we particularly liked the Marienhof and ate there every night, the meals were excellent and the Austrian puddings are amazing.

The location was great, quiet and easy access to public transport. Walking distance to Old Vienna if you enjoy walking as we do. Peter, on the reception desk was extremely helpful, very pleasant and friendly. He offered to put some milk we had in his fridge as the room we had didnt have a fridge. The breakfast was excellent, just what we wanted for busy days of sightseeing. Staff were constantly refreshing the platters of food. It was spotlessly clean. There is a lift so you don't need to carry your bags upstairs. I would definitely recommend Hotel Graf Stadion.

As it was very hot in Vienna when we were there we would have liked a fan in our small room. It was very warm in our room at night so sleeping was a bit uncomfortable with the heat.

Loved our stay! Great value for the money! We had breakfast included and at first glance it seems with rather small choice but actually there are quite a lot of things and everything was of great quality. Don't skip breakfast! Location is great, the staff was extremely friendly. The building is probably an old classical Vienna building but it's very clean and well maintained. Been to Viena before in a different hotel, but dint like it as much. We would definitely come back to Graf Stadion!

The room was a bit small, but still, nothing critical, it didn't bother our stay at all.
