The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in inside Europe. The room was very clean and bright. There are 2 grocery stores right by the hotel and an excellent traditional Vienna coffee house. Just a short walk down to the city center.

Great location - just off the Ringstrasse and within 5-10 minutes walk of trams and trains. It was a very good price for this area. There is an ATM across the street and multiple cafes and restaurants in the area. Friendly check-in with receptionist, and the reception has a nice area to sit and relax or eat food that you have brought - also a kettle for making tea and a pay-coffee machine. They had a fridge both in the hallway by our room and in the reception area dining room, so you can keep food fresh. The room was quiet and comfortable and had all necessary amenities, including a small table and chairs and a nice couch. Enjoyed our stay and would come again!

I loved the location. It wasn’t very close to the Vienna State Opera but it was a walkable distance. My booked tours usually start there so it was convenient. The area was safe which was a priority for me as a solo female traveler. I arrived at midnight, did the self check in which was clearly explained in the email. I checked out at 4am and the instructions were clear as well.

The toilet is shared. I knew this already, so I expected it. It was not bad actually. There were two toilets on our floor and I never encountered any guests. I’d still stay here again.

Very good position, near the center and also in a quiet area. Very kind stuff and the room very clean.

• It would be nice to have an air conditioner in the room instead of the ventilator during the hot days in Vienna. • There wasn't any posibility to prepare a snack or coffee or tea apart the hours that the reception was open (from 8 to 18). Even than the dining room doesn't have any coffee or tea bags apart the coffee machine for 1,5€ a cup. So you have to bring everything with you or to buy in the local shops. • There isn't any sink with running water in the dinning room where you can wash your hands or rinse your vegetables before the meal.

The hotel is quite close to the city center, just about 7 min by walk or 2 min by tram. It is also quite here as it is located in a residence area. Every floor has its own fridge to store the food u bought from nearby 3 supermarkets or 3 restaurants. There is also a small kitchen equipped with mircowave, toaster, water cooker, and coffee machine (need charge). The lady in the front desk is super friendly to support you and allow me to leave my luggage after check-out.

The hot water for showering is not hot at all, just warm :(.

The Lehrerhaus is well situated to downtown Vienna, just a 10-15 minute walk from the Ringstrasse or a short tram ride away from the major cultural/historical sites of the city. My wife and I have stayed there on many occasions over the past 30 years, and view it as our home away from home. No breakfast is offered, but you can easily shop for food at the corner grocery store just a 2 minute walk down the street, and then fix breakfast or lunch for yourself in the designated breakfast room which comes equipped with a refrigerator for your use.

There is no off-street parking available, and legal spots are difficult to find on the crowded, narrow streets around the Pension Lehrerhaus. On our most recent stay we got a parking ticket within the 10 minutes we had parked in what seemed like a legitimate zone while going in to check in at the reception desk, and we spent half of the next morning trying to figure out how and where to pay the 36 Euro fine. My recommendation is not to drive there at all. It's a real hassle! The public transportation in Vienna is superb, and you won't need a car while you're in the city.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly and I greatly enjoyed chatting with the Hotelier. Since a lot of rooms were empty my booking was upgraded and I received a room with a shower upon arrival. The room was comfortable and I also had a fan which was greatly appreciated though for the price it is a reasonable thing to expect rather than an additional luxury I suppose. The location is good, a short walk from where the action is. The street it is on also seemed rather charming, I didnt have time to visit the restaurants there but I intend to if I visit again. There is also a grocery store right next to it.

At night I would hear people from somewhere in the building, I am unsure if the sound proofing was the issue or if those people were being too loud but it woke me up once or twice. I also wouldnt be able to afford a longer stay, which is part of what keeps me from rating it at a 10, the price is a bit high for my income level as a student.

everything. price for a centric hotel in vienna is super good! amazing location : 8mn walk from Volkstheater metro station from which u can take line U3 to Wien Mitte or Westbahnhof that connect to the airport by OBB train (4,3€). also just a walk to all main attractions : parlament, Hofburg, museums, opera house … it is located in a secure neighborhood, with a market within the building. Reception girls were the nicest, very welcoming and helpful : both showed what to visit and how to go around, they let me check in 1h before time and kept my luggage after checkout until 4pm! they have a nice commun area where u can have meals. the room i had was very beautiful, well equipped, nice view and a had a free extra which is a shower inside my room 😅 I mean I really had an amazing stay. I highly recommend it

Robin and his father have created a wonderful and unique space for travelers … in the heart of Vienna’s amazing 8th districts - one of the most sought after neighborhoods in this extraordinary city. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms in an unbelievable location … at a very affordable price. The level of attention and kindness and welcome you receive by the staff is fantastic. It’s my second stay and I wholeheartedly recommend this charming place.

The hotel is in a great location, with super friendly staff and clean facilities. We felt very safe in our room, which was very important to us on our one-day excursion from school! It was great that we were able to have 3 people in our room and everyone had a bed to sleep on! Finally, the bathroom was very spacious, which was a great bonus.

It was very, very hot in our room, and while we appreciate why there couldn't be a full-on AC unit, more than one small fan would've definitely helped, especially when one of our party developed a heat rash.
