Hotel Bellevue Wien

Exceptionally nice staff at the reception. Good breakfast. Located not in the very center but reasonably close (25 minutes on foot, 10 minutes by public transportation); very close to a tram stop.

The hotel is located in front of the railway station that is under repair at the moment. Construction works start at 7 am. We did not mind as we left early in the morning and came back late in the evening. WiFi is a bit slow.

The breakfast was exceptional every morning and was a great start to the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful for any questions I had. The room was clean and quiet at almost all hours of the day even when I came back early to nap. A short walk to the subway and I was able to make it to the convention center within 30 minutes even during the busy hours of the day.

The only complaint I have is the free wifi. It was just a bit slow to do anything productive that required downloading and uploading. It was fine for checking emails and audio calls, but video calls were difficult and even low-quality videos buffered. At times in the evenings, it would cut in and out momentarily.

very nice hotel (comfortable rooms, beatufil hotel's lobby, very good breakfasts, parking in a reasonable price) in a great location : near to the metro and tram stations (20 mins by U4 to Schoenbrunn Palace and not even 10 mins to Schwedenplatz, 20 mins to Hofburg with D-tram) and approx. 30-40 minutes of walk to the main city's attractions. Pretty good restaurants in the neighborhood. Very kind and helpful hotel staff.

Bathroom. but within that price - i cannot make any complaints ! :) poor drinks' offer in the hotel bar - it's better to visit italian restaurand near to the hotel to have great food and drinks.

Nicely located, close to public transport and easy to get to many attractions from there. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Lack of power outlets near the bed. We asked for a bathroom with shower instead of a bathtub due to mobility limitations of one of the guests, but we didn't get it. Unfortunately they didn't have a bathtub mat either to make it possible to have a shower without problems (too difficult for the one of us with mobility problems to enter and exit without risking a fall). Cleaning of the bathroom was not complete in one of the days. Other than this, we really enjoyed our stay but these aspects made us a bit disappointed.

Location was unbeatable as it was one minute walk away from transports, bars, restaurants, shops and whatever amenities you will need as a tourist to make your stay easier and more enjoyable. Breakfast was fantastic as it had varieties both hot and cold, it even had wines for peeps. Room service was excellent, always keeping your room clean before you come back from your travels. Room was very spacious, I stayed in a family suite with my three young kids, and air condition was working at high speed, hot water was full blast. I must mention front desk too, they were always willing and ready to help especially Sachi (I don't know if I spelt his name correctly), at one point he gave me his phone to speak to Get Your Guide company to sort my Schrobunn zoo tickets out I got for me and my kids. If I have the opportunity to visit Vienna again, hotel Bellevue got me without question. It is a vintage hotel so unique, and gave very goo dservices.

The location is good, very close to the subway station and the tramv. The beds are also comfortable. The staff is really friendly and helpful, we recommend Marko at the bar/restaurant. Very nice guy.

The hotel is a bit old and you can “feel” it. Strange smell in the room, a bit cold during the night even though the AC was at the max temperature. I guess the bathroom was not really cleaned up before we arrived. There was also a little hole in the window and we thought it was gonna be cold because of it. To be honest i think it didn’t affect it, only that they were switching off somehow the AC during the night. The elevators are old and not “updated” which makes it hard to keep the door opened when you have manu luggage. There wasn’t a nice view from the room, it was behind a building and also the room seemed bigger when i booked it. It is definitely too expensive for the conditions. I guess the price is only because of the location.

Where to begin?! The staff there are super friendly and multi-lingual. The rooms were well cleaned. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, the best scrambled eggs ever, and significant variety. The rooms were well fitted out and I really liked the high ceilings (probably standard in Vienna, but new for me).

The only thing that wasn't super amazing was the breakfast rooms getting overcrowded at particular times. To avoid this, suggest to go earlier before 7:30/8 or later around 10. Once we started going later, it was super comfortable with next to no queues for the coffee machine

It’s a beautiful historic building with lots of charm and character… yet, it has many modern amenities… the location couldn’t be better… right across the street from the trains and one of only two grocery stores in Vienna that are open on Sundays, called Billa… the staff are amazing… kind and helpful and welcoming… I’m a vegan and the chef made sure I had options to eat every morning… something they offered as soon as they heard I was vegan… not something I requested or would have ever expected… I can’t wait to come back.

Location was great, Breakfast was ok but some days there wasn't any bacon at all?

No bar? told there was no barman to run it? Wifi crashed on the Friday and not up and running properly when we left the following Thursday? No where to have a coffee or tea, Had to rent a kettle for our room for 20 euro. Hardly a four star rated hotel? Building works going on around the hotel which starts at 7am?

The staff is so friendly and helpful. My phone charging plug was not working and the front desk let me use a charger to get my phone back up and running. They were helpful also with directions and general advice. The room was so clean and comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was also spacious and the shower was perfect (temp, pressure, etc). The hotel was in a great location just a few minutes from a nearby underground and also the tram was around the corner. If you want to walk along the water you are nearby, it is just a short walk, and so pleasant. There is also a lovely park (Lichtenstein) that is nearby and nice to see. The hotel was so quiet and beautiful. We did not try the food in the restaurant but it looked great and busy in the morning. Also on the day we checked out we were able to store our luggage for a bit, that was very helpful as we wanted to get a snack but not drag our luggage around. The luggage was kept safely. The lobby area had some very nice chairs to sit in. The front desk is 24/hours which is nice because it made the environment feel very safe. All the staff was so kind and warm.

Technically we did have two beds (two mattresses) but they were together on one headboard. It didn't really bother us, we are close friends, and because they were separate mattresses we did not wake the other up by tossing and turning. Just wanted to share that in case it would bother someone else.
