Alton

Good hotel for midrange budget. Location is excellent, there's tram stop for various lines right behind corner. Location is near busy street, but my room was top floor with only roof window. Opening it meant some street noise, but as room was equipped with really good air con, there was no need to have window open or even open blinds. Room was equipped with fridge which is always plus for these 3-4 star hotels. And big plus on hot summer days. Breakfast was ok and is most likely enough for most people. Sweet cakes are made by staff on-site which is nice plus. Staff is friendly and helpful. Big thanks to older gentleman that met me first day. I forgot my tablet into room while leaving to next destination. Hotel informed me about it with whatsapp message. This was really good service along getting it in package to be shipped back to me.

Only minus really is room having carpet. Carpet, especially tick one, is hard to keep clean and brings "old" smell to room. But this was overall minor issue.

I must start with the location of the hotel, which was excellent! The tram and metro stations are just a few meters away from the hotel and only 4 stops with the tram to the Old City and 8 stops to Mala Strana. Of course, you can reach Old City by foot in 20 minutes! The breakfast was great, with many options to choose from, sweets and sours and many options for drinks too. The stuff was really polite and helpful. But I must also mention the cleaningness of the hotel! The room was cleaned every day and also they changed the towels every day. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was really spacious. Overall our staying was great and we would definately propose ALTON hotel to our friends who are willing to visit Prague!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Alton Hotel in Prague, and I must say that it was a delightful experience overall. The rooms at the Alton Hotel were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. I stayed in a triple room, which was spacious enough for three people. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The room was tastefully decorated, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. One of the standout features of the Alton Hotel is its excellent location. The staff at the Alton Hotel were courteous and helpful throughout my stay. They were always ready to assist with any questions or requests, from providing restaurant recommendations to arranging transportation. Considering its location and the quality of accommodation, I found the Alton Hotel to be reasonably priced. It offers good value for money compared to some of the more upscale hotels in Prague.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was tidy with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was various and tasty. Locations close to the National Museum. Highly recommended to everyone.

The hotel is easy to find and only a short walk from the National Museum and Namesti Miru. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, though the dining room itself was a bit functional and was crowded at times.

I was given a "double" room on the 5th floor which was quite spacious with a large skylight, good lighting and two single beds laid end to end. The bathroom was good but shower pressure on one of the mornings was very low (fine on the second morning). Surprisingly I found the street noise did carry all the way to the room, although it was not bad.

Our stay in Alton was just great, with the hotel perfectly located just a short walk from New Town's Wenceslas Square, in a nice and well-connected neighborhood. The tram for Prague castle is just next to the hotel, making it very convenient to explore this wonderful part of Prague too. The triple room we had was very large and airy, with big comfortable beds, a small fridge and desk which came in handy when having to work on the computer in the evenings. The bathroom was also big and equipped with everything we needed, breakfast very good, including a choice of fresh fruit which we appreciated most. But most importantly, the staff was just amazing, very friendly and accommodating, helping us with parking in the garage, with insights of places to visit, restaurants, attractions. When visiting Prague again, we would definitely choose Alton again.

The hotel was perfectly located. It is a short walk to the heart of the city and close to transportation. The night bus for the airport stops right in front of the door! The hotel is also very clean and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight with a large selection of freshly made foods to start each day.

The air conditioning broke during the last night of our stay. They tried to fix it but it wasn’t done in time. They filled our refrigerator with beer to compensate. These things can happen and the staff handled it well.

I would like to thanks especially Marianna for the choice of room which so nice and perfect and her precious advices for choosing dining restaurant and for the bus trip .it was pleasure to talk to you and share great conversation with you. The room was with good view and the location so close to second main station . You can walk 15 min to reach the old center. I liked the stay there nice and calm place far from the noise and crowded main roads and center

Breakfast can be better with more dishes and variety. But overall is ok and you will feel full sure.

The staff was very nice and helpful and the rooms were very clean and big. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and they offered a lot of options, even gluten-free bread. The best thing about it was the location: it was right next to tram and metro stations and we could visit almost everything without changing the line. I went to a concert at Airport Letnany and it was easy and fast to get there with public transportation. Also it was close to minimarkets, coffee shops and some fast food restaurants for a quick snack.

Great location, 1min from Metro station, less than 10 min walk to Wenceslas Square. Excellent value for money. Staff friendly. Great choice for breakfast. Room good size and very clean, as were linen and towels. Small fridge, and AC in room. Keycard access works 24 hrs so you can come and go as you please and keycards actually work (unlike some places...)

The pillows were too soft for my preference. Can't think of any other complaints.
