Hotel Taurus

The room was spacious. The bathroom facilities were great, it had a powerful shower, good amount of towels and toiletries available. Tea and coffee facilities were available and a small fridge and safe in the room. The mattress was very comfy. Breakfast times were from 7am until 10 am and there was a wide range of both hot and cold food available, we ate early and late once and there was always the same wide choice available. The location was great for local transport into the centre by tram or metro. Staff were helpful and the airport shuttle service they organised was comfortable and reliable. .

The pillows were a bit too soft for my taste

The location is perfect, near to the metro and tram station and in a nice neighborhood close to many restaurants, grocery stores and Flora shopping mall. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. The check-in process was fast. They have a nice parking lot in the backyard and the daily price for parking is not very expensive like in some other hotels in Prague. Breakfast is excellent. Everything is clean and there is a daily room cleaning. The beds are comfortable for sleeping. There is an exchange office at the reception which works 24/7. The rates are fair, but not perfect. When I visit Prague next time, I will probably stay again in this hotel.

We booked two rooms. One with a double bed and one with twin beds (for my children). The room with twin beds was ok and like in the photos we booked. But our double room was not. It was room 111 which is not on a classic floor but on a mezzanine with an extremely low door and an unusual staircase leading down to a room that is smaller than the other room we got. The bed is not a double bed, actually, it was 2 connected twin beds. Rooms have no A/C (there are fans in the rooms). For us, it was not an issue because when we traveled the daily temperature was a maximum of 25 degrees C. But, I do not know what would have been feeling if it was 35+ degrees C. Without these negative impressions, I would rate this hotel with 9.5.

Once again (and not the last:) ) I prefer this hotel for my trips for any purposes to Prague and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. Great internet coverage, impressive and yummy breakfast (personnel in the restaurant are amazing and really warm to everyone ♥️). Many thanks to Anuar for good organizing the check-in at the hotel and to Vladimir for the exceptional check-out. Despite the fact I said quite late about my need for early breakfast, during my departure, I wasn't left without food for a long way ^-^ This is really nice and proves a very respectful attitude of this hotel towards guests.

Stairs. Looots of stairs. Despite the fact of the existence of the elevator, it wouldn't help you to reach the restaurant for breakfast. It's a big problem for people with any previous or current traumas.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Taurus in Prague for five days last week, and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a peaceful part of Prague, on Vinohradská Street. The room we stayed in was spacious and exceptionally clean. The housekeeping staff tidied up our room meticulously every day and provided us with fresh towels. The room was well-equipped and even had a kettle for hot water, which was a nice touch. The daily breakfast was served buffet-style and was incredibly diverse, ranging from scrambled eggs to grilled sausages, various fruits and vegetables, an assortment of pastries, and a selection of juices and coffee. The breakfast spread truly deserved a perfect score of 10/10. The hotel's staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. We were impressed with the level of cleanliness and the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The quiet location provided a relaxing atmosphere, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the beautiful city of Prague. I highly recommend Hotel Taurus to everyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Prague. The excellent breakfast options are definitely worth the additional charge, offering a great start to each day of your stay. We had a fantastic time and would gladly return in the future. Already by tradition, when I come to Prague, I always stay at this hotel and recommend to everyone accommodation there. Respectful attitude towards guests, well-equipped rooms, good level of cleanliness and responsiveness of staff- all of these make this hotel very special for me personally, 'cause here you can feel yourself like at home. Special thanks to the personnel of the restaurant for the daily delicious buffet-style breakfast with various meals, pastries, fruits, and vegs.

The room size is really good they also made 2 twin beds into 1 big one for me as normally all hotels think that because I am travelling alone I can sleep in a single bed!!! Wifi was very good as well, overall the hotel is well looked after. Breakfast was really good with lots of choices I only missed some pastries with chocolate and they would be perfect.

The only small thing is that is not air accon in the rooms just a little fan which is not great for hot weather and that there is only 1 lift for so many floors and rooms and sometimes you have to be waiting like 5 minutes to go upstairs or downstairs, is also quiet far from the center but you can take metro 11 or 13 to go to the center.

- good breakfast with great variety (although not a lot of options for vegetarians, let alone vegans) - they let us print and scan something swiftly and without any problems - the location isn‘t too central which makes it quieter but close enough to the center

- the facilities are somewhat antique (i.e. there are some cracks in the walls or in the sink), although overall the old building has its own charme - the doors and walls aren‘t soundproof (enough), although the door has obvious isolation that we thought would certainly isolate noise, but we could hear everything from the hallway and some of the neighboring rooms as well - there is only one tiny elevator that operates slowly - there was a foldable bed „stored“ in the hallway right next to our door - the TV is old and doesn‘t have many channels, connecting it with a smartphone also wasn‘t possible

This is my preferred hotel in Prague for a quick stopover before travelling to/from anywhere else. It is well run, comfortable and convenient for travel using either trams or the underground. A good selection of both hot and cold food for breakfast.

Nothing really. When I arrived early evening there was a large group of boisterous and very noisy teenagers milling about the hotel on all floors. I was worried I may be in for a disturbed night's sleep but if there were any issues caused by that, they got sorted by the staff. Complimentary tea/coffee is provided on arrival but perhaps a bottle of water would be nice too especially when it's very hot.

It was good hotel and staff. Breakfast was breakfast was varied and plentiful. About room - we lived on 6-th floor and room was a little small but cozy :) There were some problems with draining water in the shower, but not critical. I needed parking, so I informed about it in advance - I advise you to inform about the need for parking in advance. Parking is paid, but it is convenient and somewhere cheaper than leaving the car in public paid parking.

Slightly improve the quality of room cleaning and in our room the window did not close tightly - it was a little noisy from the street. But the hotel met all expectations :)

The hotel is just a few steps away from the nearest subway station and there are also tram stops in the near. The room was clean and well equipped, the breakfast was a delicious buffet breakfast with some typical Czech patisseries, hams, cheeses and more. The location is very calm and friendly, with plenty of beer pubs, cafes and bistros around, nice place to hanging out in the evening when you'd like to get out of the city centre.
