Hotel Claris

Really lovely little hotel! Staff were nice and friendly, there is free coffee, water and sweets available in reception. Shower was warm and worked well, Wi-Fi was good and beds were made up every day. Also the location is incredibly convenient! About a 5 min walk to the metro which comes every 5 mins and can take you to the centre of Prague.

Good location, very quiet and beautiful. I walked around Prague all day and was fairly tired - the bath in the hotel room was a godsend!

The location is excellent and within easy walking distance of the main train station, Wenceslas Square and the Old Town. It is also near the Praha 2 district, which we discovered on our penultimate evening, and which is well worth a visit – lots of bookshops and attractive street-side cafés and restaurants. Check-in was smooth and easy.

There was only one plug point near the bed, and only on one side of the bed, and many of the other available plugs were obstructed by the table. Also, there was a large pillar running down the middle of our room, probably for plumbing etc, but it was something of an obstacle. The room was not very soundproofed, so the sounds of talking and footsteps could be heard from the early morning.

The staff were all really kind and sweet. The Check in was easy and we didn't have any problems at all. Getting there from the train station is also pretty easy and even comfortable to walk. We also really liked the location because it was pretty easy to get everywhere but you still felt like you had a little bit more of peace. Also we would highly recommend visiting the park Grébovka nearby, where you have an amazing view.

Even though we liked the location and the hotel, we personally wouldn't recommend buying the breakfast because it isn't really worth the money. You can easily find nice places near to eat your breakfast. But maybe you should at least try their breakfast once in order to build your own opinion :)

The staff was very friendly. I came an hour earlier than the check-in time, and the room was already prepared. The room satisfied all my needs, because I came to visit and see Prague. It was clean and cosy and the staff was cleaning the room and bathroom daily. The bed was very comfortable (for me) and I was always well rested in the morning. The reception works 24 hours, so You can ask the staff anything. The location of the hotel is excellent, It is very near the Metro line, so I was in the center of Prague in less than 5 minutes. Also, at least for me, the neighborhood was quiet in the sleeping hours (considering that that it is near the center).

No complaints. Nothing regarding a complaint occurred during my stay. I really don't have anything to add here.

The hotel seems outdated on photos, but we found it quite cosy. We checked in, when there was a bit cold outside and the room had really good heating. Wi-fi connection is strong and stable. Cleaning is every day and there is no unpleasant smell in the room or bathroom. The staff is great and helpful. The location is in the city center with good access to everything, but it is not on the main street, so really quiet, We didnt hear any other guests either.

It is a bit dark in the room, the lights are not bright enough. The bathroom requires a bit of renovation. Also we lacked a garbage bin in the room as the one in bathroom was tiny.

A nice big room and bathroom with bath. The room was very clean. Good bed. The breakfast area has a window roof which gives.a nice setting, with loads of natural light. The staff is very kind and will help you with all kinds of requests. There is always somebody at the reception 24/24.. I think you can get nothing better for a three star rated hotel. Only 200m away there is a beautiful square where you can take the subway straight to the city center.

the surrounding area is so beautiful, a mixture of the traditional and Soviet style buildings. A Chinese restaurant is just around the block that if you like the Chinese food, it is worthwhile to consider.

Only one thing needs to make improvement but is not important : internet is weak.

Really nothing. I cant thing of anything I disliked. It was very warm in Prague the days I stayed so having air conditioning would be an extra, however there was no air conditioning anywhere in the city, so no negatives really
