Hotel Galileo

Breakfast was plentiful. The location was amazing, just a short tramp ride from the Old town. Amazing value for money.

We arrived 12pm and the reception tried to charge us €12 for early check in. This was ridiculous considering the price of the room, especially as the room was available. Also the room had pretty old furniture. It was obvious it hasn’t been replaced for decades.

The sizes of the two rooms we took were indeed amazing and the beds were really comfortable. The breakfast area upstairs is great too and the food was good there. The location of the hotel is ideal - close to the main things to see, great places to it and very convenient transport connection.

The checkin was a bit slow. We rented one room for three children and the two beds were cramped in a tiny space, while the rest of the room was huge. The bathroom supplies were stuffed for one person in each room, while there were five of us. All things are not critical though.

I had requested a room with bathtub and I got a room with bathtub. Very Nice :) The room was big and recently renovated. Room had Aircondition and working fine. Minibar, tea and coffee. Cleaning every day. Internet working fine. Breakfast is fine with scramble eggs, egg, sausage, youghurt, bread, fruit, Cheece, ham and some cakes. salat. Different Coffee, tea, and hot chocholate. Nice area with some restaurants around. 5 min walking from McD, KFC and Starbucks. Walking distance to the main shopping street of Prague is about 20 min

Room was reasonable size, old fashioned air con so was quite warm but windows opened for flow of air. Breakfast was pretty good for the price. Few bars and places to eat on the same street which was handy. Lady at reception booked a tour for us easily and wi-fi was good.

Communal spaces weren't particularly welcoming- the bar area looked like bit of after thought and the downstairs 'lobby' space felt a bit odd.

The food was below average. By the time we would come to breakfast, 1 hour before the end of the breakfast, most hot food was gone - no eggs, sausages, vegetables, etc.

The hotel was within walking distance from tube& tram stations. it was clean & room was spacious . Towels changed daily - shower was great. Room lovely & warm - for the price it was really good. Reception staff were very helpful too definitely recommend

Depending on how mobile you are it is quite a walk to the centre. However close enough to tube station.

The Hotel has great size of rooms very spacious.

We didn't like that the hotel didn't have a proper bar, and no restaurant. Only restaurant for breakfast in the morning which was great. Food was lovely. Especially the restaurant sits at the top of the roof great views having your breakfast. 7

The location of the hotel is superb, within walking distance from the center and the neighborhood is very nice. The room was very spacious and the bed super comfortable

Breakfast was a little limited

Hotel was beautiful, so clean & staff were always polite. I actually recommended this hotel to one of my friends who is going next week

You were central but had a good 15-20 min walk into city centre but once weather was dry we didn't mind. We didn't get trains or buses , we walked instead

Quite good area with plenty of restaurants, near enough to both tram lines and the metro

A bit loud, you could easily hear neighbor rooms, and the tram passing on the street
