Bastille Hostel

After reading all the negative reviews I was really worried about staying here. Turns out it was clean, staff where friendly and helpful and you got an extra value place to stay close to everything. Was 35mins to stade de france 15mins to station to Disney And an hours walk to Effiel tower. I was over for rugby world cup and Disney. Bed was comfortable for the little time I had to sleep and a very enjoyable stay.

The air con maybe was the only issue as it didn't work fully but that's only thing I can find wrong

This is my second time to stay in Bastille Hostel and I absolutely love their staff and overall location. The room is quite simple, they ensure it’s being cleaned daily and warm enough for their clients especially during this season.

Nothing in general, even with shared toilet, it’s always clean and with enough paper towels.

Good locations for the metro, or walkable to city centre. Two person room in hostel was basically a private room. Staff were great, fluent English (in case actually English). Good shower in room. Television that worked. Lively breakfast.

Beds - metal bunk beds, unstable/tips when climbing up and metal rungs tough on bare feet. A maximum age restriction was pointed out on checking in that wasn't apparent at time of booking. No toilets on the 5th floor.

I appreciated a lot the centrality of the structure, very close to la gare de lyon train station which i arrived into from Milan Very friendly atmosphere, I had the single room and it was perfect

Nothing really, if youre looking for a cheap and short stay in paris, with a good quality of standards, i would reccomend going here

The location of the hostel is really good, especially if you're coming from Gare de Lyon train station.

The rooms didn't meet my expectations, the mattress of the bed was very squeaky and uncomfortable. The breakfast comes included but it's the same old cold stuff everyday. The staff was okay while accommodating a few requests

I really liked having my own private shower in my single room. Comfy bed, breakfast was included, so I consider it perfect because not all the hostels have breakfast included. Staff was really nice, location was perfect- just 10 minutes by walk to the Opera Bastille.

I didnt like the fact that you have to pay for towels in case you don't carry your own towels.

Spacious room (seen many much smaller), breakfast as to be expected in hostel, room situated to busy street (pub right under the windows) but it was okay for me. Stuff friendly, its possibel to leave luggage in hostel before/after checkout. And the basement is definitely worth seeing :)

I was very plesantly surprised with the hotel and the atmosphere. Located near all the tourist attractions and easy connections to farther ones(metro and bus near by), staff was lovely too!

Had no complaints what-so-ever. Both my friend and I were satisfied with everything.

Fabulous location, great price for what was provided. Helpful staff. Overall, very satisfied with this place:)

Having to leave between 11am-3pm for cleaning purposes, a slight inconvenience.

This is in the middle of dining, clubs, shopping, wandering. Get the breakfast. Clean rooms with the basics covered. Close to metro & bus.

Separate WC in the hall sink & shower in the room 2 bed bunk tv closet desk big window on the street. A fan on the room would be amazing. Maybe we could rent them? The elevator was struggling, but it was not a deal breaker. Leave your room key when you're out of the building.
