Hotel Cambon

Returning to Hotel Cambon is always a joy, and my recent stay was no exception. Having visited multiple times before, I can confidently say that this hotel never fails to impress. Once again, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and valued as a returning guest. Their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring a comfortable stay truly sets Hotel Cambon apart. As always, the room was impeccably clean and thoughtfully appointed, providing a serene oasis in the heart of bustling Paris. The central location of the hotel remains a major highlight, allowing for easy exploration of the city's many treasures. Whether I'm revisiting favorite landmarks or discovering new hidden gems, Hotel Cambon's proximity to everything I love about Paris is unparalleled.

Property has been fully renovated and is beautiful. We came to Paris a day early so had to take a small room, which was very small. The next 3 nights was in a suite & that was a great size. Just be mindful the base rooms are tiny (but still nice). Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, having been to Paris many times I knew where we wanted to be and this area is it. Not overly busy, but still walking distance to the Louve, to the Champs Elysees, Galleries Lafayette and other tourist attractions. Big bonus is the Metro station across the road. This is a must when travelling around Paris, super easy, super quick & cheap way to get around the city.

No negatives for this Hotel...that's rare!

The Hotel is in an excellent central location, it is small & cute and very clean. The staff are all welcoming, kind and professional. The rooms are all new and very clean. New showers, big window and spacious for Paris. Towels new & soft, they cleaned the room every day, gave us new towels and changed the sheets. The fridge is stocked with water and soft drinks free of charge. We were a bit cold so they gave us extra heater. We were very pleased with it! Merci!

location was amazing, i travelled to paris before so i know my way around a bit and this location was simply perfect!! second think the rooms were great, clean new and with a great design, brekfast was perfect as well. it doesnt happen often that i dont have any even small remarks. the price quality ratio is also very very good. so i strongly recomand this place!! (if u go shopping in paris remember that the biggest and most famous location of chanel is just around the corner!

The little touches in the hotel room were very thoughtful. Accessories like nail file, cotton wool, sewing kit etc. in bathroom. There is a decent hairdryer too. There are USB sockets and also a UK / Irish plug socket for if you've forgotten your adaptor. The room was a decent size for Paris. There is a window that opens properly, it was refreshing to be able to let some fresh air into the room.There is also a mini fridge which was great as I'm a tea lover so I was able to keep milk in it. I didn't hear anything from the neighbouring room so well sound proofed. The staff were so lovely and attentive. I arrived to the hotel about 12 noon local time and my room was not ready. They asked me to come back about 2.30. When I arrived back it was still not ready so they gave me a coffee on the housel. I also found it central enough to the main attractions, I walked everywhere during my stay. I loved the hotel so much I have booked again for Christmas time.

Not a fan of the style of sink, its a bit awkward but this is only minor and I wouldn't stop me from staying again. I wouldn't go out of my way to have the breakfast again, it's a buffet style but things like the mini pancakes didn't seem fresh as they were hard on one side, perhaps reheated? Again this wouldn't stop me from staying again, I highly recommend staying here.

The property was exceptional. beautiful decor and we were fortunate to be upgraded by the wonderful team there. The front of house team, in particular Fatima & Tenzin were so accommodating and helpful. I couldn’t rate this hotel highly enough. it is across the road from the Concorde metro, the Tuileries Garden, the Louvre to name a few special landmarks.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Super close to metro Concorde exit 5. The room are not too big, so one big suitcase plus a cabin size is ok. I really like the bed and pillows too. Just right for me.

What I don’t like is the cleaner always try to clean our room after about 3:30pm, while we just back to our room for a rest. So in that 5 days we stayed, we didn’t use the service.

We got ourselves a free upgrade to their Junior suite and its awesome! Spacious room and beautiful decor. All branded boutiques were nearby and we could leave our shopping bags back at the hotel before heading elsewhere. Location was so prime as we basically walked to most places of interests.

Room service could have done a cleaner job! Also we are not aware that there were no AC during our stay. Reception could have informed us during check in. Otherwise all good.

Firstly it is worth saying that Hotel Cambon is in an excellent location. You are moments away from Tuileries Garden with Place de la Concorde at one end and the Louvre Museum at the other. The hotel is also a stones throw away from the Place Vendome shopping district, perfect for those with deep pockets or into people watching! The staff who i met and interacted with were all incredibly friendly and were all keen to ensure that i was having a good stay. As i was staying at the hotel during a business trip i had no need to enquire about any trips or activities, but they gave the impression that they would be more than willing to help. Whilst the renovations are going on there are no dining facilities within the hotel itself, however they have an agreement with Flottes brasserie on the other side of the street, which provide breakfast from 7am....speaking of Flottes, i cannot rate them highly enough. Incredibly friendly staff and the food they serve is divine! As for the rooms, the one i stayed in was quite compact, (i believe it may have been one of the hotel's smaller rooms designed for 1 person) however it appeared to have been very recently renovated to a high standard, Everything was like new, swish and quite modern. I was very impressed. I would say that my only comment would be that if 2 people were to stay in the room i was in for more than a couple of days that they may struggle with limited wardrobe space.

As has been mentioned in other reviews it is worth noting that there are renovations underway in the main entry hall. This leads to a somewhat drab and underwhelming first impression of the hotel. I must say however, as soon as you get to your room you feel like you are a world away from this, and if their rooms are anything to go by, the renovation will really shine! One note on the renovations, during my stay i did not hear any noise from the work that they are completing so don't be alarmed with this work going on.
