Maison Armance - Esprit de France

Opening the french doors to an autumn breeze, tucked in my cosy hotel dressing-gown, and having breakfast in the seating area whilst hearing Paris go on around me. Wow! I splurged a little for the Executive Room and I'm so glad I did because it was incredible! Beautiuflly sized rooms and bathrooms (big for Paris standards!). Every staff member couldn't have been more helpful, they really want you to have a good stay. Everything was clean and modern. The location was the highlight for me. I could walk everywhere to every attraction and every shop, so I didn't need to take the metro once during my 9 night stay. As a solo traveller, safety is really important to me, and Maison Armance's location never once made me feel uneasy. The only danger is the wonderful macaroon shop three metres away, yum! There's no need to break the bank for a 5 star hotel because Maison Armance is in the same location as them and has everything you need to enjoy your stay comfortably (room service, laundry, complimentary coffees and tea, great daily house-keeping, 24 hour security). single elevator was broken for half the time we were there, would have been hard for disabled or elderly to do the stairs (check in is on 6th floor and rooms are on 4-6th floor).

Fantastic location everything within walking distance. The staff were super kind and helpful.

We specified on the booking and were confirmed for twin beds but then later told that the room we booked did not come in a twin. thank goodness I was travelling with my mother or it would have led to some awkward sleeping arrangements 😂

Staff were wonderful and extremely helpful. Such a wonderful place to stay in Paris. Location was perfectly central yet quiet and safe. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Looking forward to staying here again.

After staying in "vacation rentals" for much of our family vacation, staying in a hotel with incredibly personal service and great room details was a delight. The art of hotel service is somewhat lost on today's traveler - having your bed made, breakfast ready, and being asked daily if there's anything more they can do is a treat after "self service" in vacation rentals. Finishes were exceptional - from the bathroom to the suite itself everything was top-quality. The location was also fantastic - close to the best shopping in all of Paris.

Guests should know that the reception is on the 6th floor and you need to take a small elevator (as most elevators are in older European buildings) to check in. This initially caught us off guard, but checking in is a small part of the overall experience and was soon forgotten.

Had the best experience in Paris for our 4 night stay in August as this hotel is centrally located in the heart of the city (1st arr) and walking distance to metro and many landmarks. Special thank you Henry and Laurent as well as the wider team that we’re very courteous, welcoming and went over and above to make our stay comfortable especially with having two young children. The rooms are spacious (hard to find in Paris) and amenities are modern with a Parisienne flair. Will certainly come back!!

Beautiful accommodation solution in the heart of Paris. The room was smaller than I expected, but overall I had a great say.

Great location, exceptional staff, lovely decor, nice produce at breakfast. I cannot rate the staff highly enough. We will return and we couldn’t stay anywhere else now.

I’m having to really dig deep to find something that we didn’t like, but they could do with cleaning under furniture and beds, there was a lot of hair and dust. A hand towel in the toilet would be nice, not just in the bathroom - this might only apply to suites with a separate toilet & bathroom.

The hotel is a little bit of calm in the very centre of Paris. It's serene colour scheme with touches of brass at every corner make this a very pretty hotel. However, it's the welcoming team who go above and beyond that really make it a stand-out hotel. Insider tip: Ask for your room service to be served in the hotel's lounge for a private dining experience in the heart of city.

There's nothing we didn't like.

The hotel is pretty small with few rooms and a tiny breakfast room, but it's cute and the staff is very kind. The location is strategic: we were able to move everywhere without effort. They welcomed us with wine and sweeties, also they kept our luggage for the day we left. Most important for us: it's very clean!

For the price asked we were expecting a standard hotel (in terms of size at least), but it's understandable considering the location. Breakfast can be richer or with higher quality at least (not saying it's bad in any case)
