Hotel Etoile Saint Ferdinand by Happyculture

Hotel was in a great location close to many main attractions. Price for the room was reasonable considering the proximity to attractions. Bathroom was modern. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Right beside the bus to BVA airport.

Carpets in the rooms are worn and many small details that could be easily fixed like touch of paint etc to make the place more like a 4 star hotel. Rating is 4 star but I imagine that is more due to the location.

The hotel had very friendly staff. Great location near the metro and the Arc de Triomphe. Nice spacious room and bathroom.

Would have been nice if the room had a mini fridge. No "Do not disturb" sign for the door. Breakfast was a bit pricy for what was offered.

Everything was great! Location is perfect - 5-10 minute walk from Arc de Triomphe, 20-25 minute walk to Tour Eiffel. Plenty of metro stations not far from the hotel to get wherever you want. Right across the street from a hotel is little shop, where you can buy all necessities. The room was big, bathroom too. There was a kettle in room and instant coffee and tea. They cleaned the room and brought new towels everyday. It was very warm in the room. The staff was great and helpful! 100% recommend staying here.

View from the window was not great, but it doesn’t bother me at all! everything else was perfect!

The hotels is located in an excellent neighbourhood anf very close to public transport and touristic attractions. Arc de Triumph and Champs Elysées are just a stone's throw away. The staff are fantastic. I would dare to say the best staff I have ever seen in all of my trips. Katia welcomed us warmly and even offered us free croissants. She took time to show us the city's attractions and places to eat and drink on the map and even thaught us some tips and tricks. Our room was super clean and cosy with comfortable beds and a tub in thr bathtoom. Thr room and the bathtoom were cleaned and the towels were changed every day. Everything was perfect. Best value for money

A little gem in a great location with fantastic staff esp Katia from Front Office (exceptional hospitality skills and nothing was a problem for her. Genuine kindness and went the extra mile to please us). Coffee machine with good coffee and water dispenser in foyer area was a bonus. Small breakfast room with adequate items for a quick Brekky. Would be nice if it was included in the room rate. Lots of cafes around. Supermarket right across the road from the hotel. Able to leave stuff in the fridge in the hotel kitchen (as the hotel rooms lack a fridge) and possible to use the microwave too.

Perfect location with a reasonable price. The hotel is located next to Triumph Arc, with many shops/cafes/restaurants around. The metro line 1 is never being affected by strikes or public holidays. The staff was so friendly, especially Katia! The reception was available 24 hrs ready to respond to any request. I even had a box of chocolate and a postcard with birthday wishes… It’s definitely my choice for next time.

Initially I was missing the fridge in the room, but later I was told that any product can be stored in the fridge at the reception. They have eliminated refrigerators for environmental protection purposes.

This is a cute hotel not very far from L’Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysées. Plus there is a metro station and lots of restaurants around. The carrefour supermarket right across the street is a plus. The water machine and the free coffee machine at the reception are also an advantage. Friendly and pleasant staff. The room was pleasantly decorated and the bathroom was clean and seemed to be newly renovated, although I would personally have preferred a walk-in shower instead of a bath.

The only disadvantage I found was that there was no fridge in the room, otherwise I would definitely stay here again!

The room was small, ideal for a short stay, very clean and the location was convenient, easy to get to the main attraction points.

The staff was friendly and helpful, except maybe one particular employee that we, personnaly, didn’t like his approach. He noticed we were Romanians and, even though his intentions to help and to tell us more about Paris were good, we didn’t ask for this type of information, not to mention his personal beliefs. Also, when we tried to end the conversation because we were in a hurry, he seemed intrigued and acted kind of ironically. This type of attitude should not be directed to a client, especially when his help was not asked.

The rooms were cozy and clean. Location was perfect, as it was pretty close to everything I wanted to see. The staff was commendable, Katia was the sweetest, kindest receptionist with great tips on what to see and what to experience, don’t hesitate to ask her!! I found it awesome that when I got the map, she took out coloured highlights to teach me metro lines and best places to go and when. Many thanks!!

Breakfast could have had more options.

Fabulous, friendly and informative staff. Great location just a few minutes from the metro. Numerous little restaurants for breakfast or evening meals if you didn't want to go into Central Paris. Seemed a safe neighbourhood. Very humid and hot whilst we were there. Room lovely and cool with air conditioning.

Slight few minutes sloping (not steep) uphill walk to metro for anyone elderly or infirm but very manageable for others..
