Hôtel Harvey

I was in town for a conference at the nearby Palais des Congres, and thought this would be a nicer (and cheaper) alternative to the giant hotel. I was right - this was a great find. The room was spacious (we had a balcony, too, which was nice) and comfortable, and the location is terrific: three minute walk to metro and RER, and there are several cafes and a bakery just down the street. The staff was very friendly, and even helped me out when I showed up unexpectedly early for my room. Very close to Arc de Triomphe and its major metro hub, too, so if you are comfortable with the metros it is easy to get anywhere you want to go. I would stay here again even if I don't have a connference down the street!

Not a complaint, but be aware that you will need to haul your luggage up some stairs, as the elevator opens onto mezzanine levels in between the floors when the rooms are located.

when we arrived Tery greeted us and helped us carry our big and heavy luggages up to our rooms. their elevators have landings in between 2 floors. the rooms we got were in the 1st floor and the elevator landing was in between the 1st and 2nd floor meaning there was 1/2 a flight of stairs where we had to bring down our luggages. for reference the reception was on the ground floor. Tery would alternate with Valeria in the reception and it was always a great way to start the day with their cheerful greetings, they are always so helpful and it was always so nice that they take time to get to know their clients personally and take time to chat with them. i really liked that our room is always cleaned with fresh daily towels and the triple room we got was spacious and has a gorgeous looking balcony overlooking the streets. there are nice boulangeries close by and the french bistro in the corner of St. Ferdinand serves wonderful food.

the lock of the rooms are old fashioned keys and we need to surrender them and pick them up from the front desk everytime we had to go out. though the balcony looks great, it was facing the street and the noise insulation was not that great, which should be considered by light sleepers.

The hotel has a great location they're very close to the Arc de Triomphe and if you wish, you can go on foot to almost every main tourist place in Paris. There also is metro station very close. The staff was genuinely nice and very helpful if we had any questions or requests. You can leave your baggage in the baggage room after checkout. The room was clean and tidy.

The room was quite tiny, and wasn't soundproof so I could hear neighbours in the adjacent room in the night. In the morning before 11 on the day of the checkout someone was screaming very loudly in the corridor so much that we were afraid to leave the room.

Located a block from Metro 1 and less than a block to RER. When we used Uber rides during the day approx. 8-10 Euros to major sites. Street was quiet and close to many cafes, a pharmacy, convivence store, patisserie, McDonald's and fresh food market. Entrance, halls, elevator and room was very clean and modern. Air conditioning worked wonderfully! We used additional beds for children and all were comfortable and clean. Still room to move around. Had nice balcony with seating a table.

We left an empty food bag on table and left for afternoon. When returned ants were on the bag. Once we threw away we had no issues with ants after. We were on the 5th floor, how did they get up there :)

The rooms are clean, noise-free and spacious enough. The hotel is close to the metro station and the bus stop for Bouveais airport, which was extremely useful for us. The staff is very friendly and did everything to make our stay pleasant. It happened that the elevator was not working, which is obviously a rarity and a coincidence. The hotel staff helped us with our luggage and did everything to ensure that it did not affect our stay.

Staffs were very welcoming and warm. The location was excellent, 10 minutes walk to famous arc de triomphe Lots of restaurants are around 2 minutes walk to the nearest RER (line C) and metro station (Neuilly - Porte Maillot) from where you can get to the eiffel tower in 15 minutes

Highly recommendable! Great place, kind staff and big and comfortable rooms, each with a balcon. A smaller hotel, with aprox. 35-40 rooms in total, which ensures you of almost no noise. We're were almost the only ones at the breakfast each morning, which was nice and quiet. Close to the subway and very close to Arc de Triomphe, Concorde etc. Reasonable breakfast til a reasonable price. 13 euros each day pr. breakfast. Theres coffee, hot choco, tea, bread, cereal, milk, ham, cheese, eggs, youghurt, juices, croissants etc. Enough to get you going, for a whole day in Paris!

Super the way it was. Wouldn't change a thing, based on the price we payed.

Marvelous staff. It was like having a “Paris Resident Experience” living in a neighborhood of good restaurants frequented by locals and neighbors with grocery stores, fruit stores and laundromat.

Old style hair dryer attached to the wall that is equivalent to 500 watt dryer. No roaming taxis which encouraged us to learn how to use the Metro.

I loved the staff , the cleanliness , the decor is good and the breakfast is simple but it’s good. what impressed me the most of all was the staff as they were incredible , very gracious , very willing to help and accommodate your requests. I have been to quite a few hotels and for me this one had the most lovely staff. The location of the hotel is also great as it is very close to Champs Elysee , maybe a 7 min walk. Definitely a hidden gem!!

The location is wonderful! It's 5 minutes away from the station for the bus that arrives from/leaves for Bauvais airport, so that was super convenient! The place was also like 10 minutes away from Arc de Triomphe. All in all, we loved the location. The staff were helpful and friendly, we felt very taken care of :) The place is clean and we got the room that we specifically asked for, so grateful for that, too! Thanks guys

The size of the rooms is a bit on the smaller side but comfortable. The only thing that we thought was potentially dangerous is the way the bathroom is arranged - it can be very slippery and there's nothing to hold onto when getting out of the bathtub - it's very easy to slip and fall and you wouldn't be able to reach the emergency chord hanging on the wall. Please look into it.
