Apollo Palm Hotel

I have recently stayed at the Apollo Palm Hotel with a friend and I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the things we loved most was the retro style design and it was clear that a lot of thought and care went into designing the space. The attention to detail was impressive, and it made us feel like we were staying somewhere truly special. The hotel's location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety of options to choose from. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable hotel experience.

The room was exceptional though mine did not have any view of the Acropolis . I think I was the first to stay in this room since the hotel opened a week ago. Fast internet throughout the hotel and super high pressure in the bath. The feeling entering from Psiri area to something that resembled a Miami neighborhood was magnificent!

Excellent new hotel, lovely staff, superb location… we never used the metro once….. I highly recommend this hotel for a perfect visit to Anthens

It was a brand new hotel as the building has been renovated recently so everything was new and immaculate. The location was amazing, central to downtown Athens and all the places of interest, I can't stop saying enough how amazing the location is. It's also a short 5mins walk from Monastiraki metro station which goes directly to the airport. The breakfast was a good continental breakfast style with tops up throughout the sitting. The hotel bar is so pretty and serene, it's a real oasis of calm. The hotel reception team are super helpful - Jim, Ioanna, the other girl with the short hair and the gentleman on the evening shift. All helped with our queries and made our stay really comfortable. I can't wait to visit again!

Rooms for improvement is from housekeeping. We had booked two sets of triple rooms but the amenities provided were for two people (for example two sets of toothbrush or toiletries for two people). Top up of these were hit and miss - one of the days we had ran out of toilet paper as none was topped up in the day and so we had to ask at reception for extra. It was the same at the end of our stay. It's probably because they are still new and adjusting to things.

We stayed for our honeymoon and it was the perfect base for our visit to Athens. The location was very central, and we were able to get pretty much everywhere on foot including the Acropolis and Syntagma square. The design of the hotel was absolutely beautiful, very stylish and distinctive, and the perfect backdrop for honeymoon pictures. The rooftop bar is gorgeous and offers stunning views of the acropolis. The food in the restaurant was outstanding, and incredibly good value for the price! The most expensive item on the menu was the steak, which as of September 2023 cost €25 and was one of the best I've ever had. Everything else was delicious too, the homemade taramasalata, the octopus dish, the desserts, even the simple salad dishes... just delicious, simple food that was beautifully presented. The coffee was excellent as well. The staff were universally friendly and welcoming, and very helpful with any queries we had.

The room was missing a few small amenities such as an iron and an ironing board, and there was no shower curtain or screen in the bathroom, which meant the floor got quite wet. There were no streaming apps on the TV either, although that's no bad thing really. At the buffet breakfast the food was not kept hot, so things like scrambled eggs would be cold if you came down for breakfast later. Some of the pastries were not that fresh, and the coffee at the breakfast was from a machine and not that great. I personally would've preferred a simple filter coffee - or even the chance to pay extra for a proper barista coffee (which is available elsewhere in the hotel, just not at the buffet breakfast).

Fabulous musics playing entire stay. Good walking distance to all sites. Clean and comfortable roof top bar view amazing. Should have breakfast and restaurant up there not just drinks.

Breakfast not great. Toaster not working, and same choices everyday which got tiresome. I suspect there’s a lot of wasted food which should tell them it’s not pleasant. The cheese and spinach pittes which Greece is well known for were awful and left there everyday. Lovely lady on staff in the mornings run off her feet as was alone on shift with a full house. Rooms need finishing with small things like towel rails and robe hooks in bathroom and soap holders in shower so paint work stops falling off from ledge.

Excellent location. Close to restaurants and bars. It has a beautiful garden + roof top bar (which we sadly just discovered on our last day). The room was small but had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

We stayed at the garden side of the building and the music was on quite late, especially on Saturday night. Must say fabulous playlist but probably most of the people it would have been annoying. I did ask to have a twin bed but I guess they forgot that part and there wasn't enough space for it anyways. Also had to pay city/government tax again even though it was already included in the price.

Our room on the top floor had a stunning view of the Acropolis. Apollo Palm is a new hotel within central Athens, close to Monastikiri Square. The building itself has a stunning art deco feel to it, and the recent renovations have added to this with exquisite architectural design features, from the incredible stained glass window in the staircase, to the beautiful dining room and courtyard. Breakfast service was buffet style with fresh ingredients, great selection of pastries, savoury and fruit, and prompt coffee service. Our suite was comfortable and stylish, cleaned daily and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit Athens - a city which surprised us with its vibrancy and personality.

No complaints! Unfortunately we couldn't experience the rooftop bar which was not yet open, it looked like they were putting the finishing touches on it during our stay. Gives us more reason to come back!

The Apollo was stunning in every aspect. The decor was old glamour with a modern twist. It felt like a complete paradise in a busy city. It was peaceful and the staff were beyond perfect. The breakfast was excellent and front desk staff helped me with storing baggage and transfers to the airport. The room was spotless and so comfortable. The fridge was stocked with coke, still water, fizzy water and fruit juice. The room felt very luxurious. I enjoyed my meal at the hotel bar. I experienced excellent customer service there and was provided with recommendations for gluten free food and a mocktail based on my tastes. Overall I felt really looked after and would undoubtedly stay again.

I would have liked to have checked in earlier than 3pm but appreciate that with a 12pm check out that a 3pm check in for new guests gives them enough time to turnover rooms.
