Location could not have been better with very close proximity to Piazza Maggiore. Accommodation was excellent - clean, comfortable and well-equipped (eg disposable slippers, dressing-gowns). Filippo was prompt and very helpful in answering our questions concerning recommendations for restaurants (5 provided with web links and phone numbers) and taxis to airports.

The Nescafe coffee machine worked well and was simple to operate. However, the coffee itself was too bitter for our taste. The tap in the bathroom washbasin did not always direct all the water into the basin.

Great central location. Good sized air conditioned room with comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Room was kept very clean each day.

As nice as the room was and fine for my stay, I wouldn't really call it a hotel as it was a bit impersonal and lacked the facilities of a hotel, (no manned reception desk or communal areas such as bar/breakfast room). A bottle of water in the fridge upon arrival would have been appreciated. Breakfast wasn't included in the price that I paid, so I can't comment on it.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of Bologna. Amazing view from the balcony!!! Extremely clean and comfortable room... Filippo- the place owner is reachable all the time by phone and whatsapp and ready to answer all your questions. We asked for early check in with a very short notice and we got it! Thanks to Filippo. Highly recommended!

Very short stay Probably will be back

The property is basically in front of Piazza Maggiore, so couldn't be more central. Since it is in a small pedestrian street, the room was super quiet. It was truly one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever seen. Modern, but cosy at the same time with a wonderful view on the roofs of Bologna. It was already ready at 12 when I arrrived and the cleaning ladies were super friendly. The building i just amazing. I will definately come back!!!

There was no fridge in the room which I would have found practical. I never met the owner and would have preferred to exchange a personal word. The instructions though for entering the building were very clear and the owner was very responsive even before my arrival and very kind. The mattress was slighly too soft for me but this is personal taste.

Probably one of the best located places to stay in Bologna. Filippo was extremely welcoming and accomodating during my stay, even offering to drop me off at the train station when we couldn’t find any taxis.

The rooms that look out to the towers would have had an amazing view but unfortunately I had a courtyard view. I encourage you to ask whether you can stay in one of the street facing rooms. Also, be careful of the marble stairs (pictured) as I slipped on them and badly bruised my bum!

Lovely, friendly welcome. Amazing central location surrounded by bars, restaurants, shops, the towers but still quiet inside the room at night even on the weekend. The suite with the private roof terrace is magnificent, bedroom has plenty of storage, bed and pillows are firm and comfy. The bathroom is huge with a great shower and the best bit the roof terrace is like a dream. Great place to chill with views like a movie set.

Genuinely not one thing.

The location couldn't be better for accessing the center of bologna. It's across the street from the main plaza and its a 15-minute walk from the central train station. We were on the fourth floor and the room was quiet even with a festival going on across the street. There was also an elevator which made getting to the room easy. Fillipo was nice enough to arrange for a cab to take us to the airport for our early morning flight. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was very large and spacious with a very comfortable bed and the balcony had a great view. The bathroom was also nice and big and the shower was amazing! I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels and B&B’s across Italy and Europe and the showers are either to small or have poor drainage but this one was great!!

can’t really say there was anything that I didn’t like. If I was going to be super critical, the bathroom sink cabinet was damaged around the tap area with a lot of scratches against the wall but this really did t bother me as the bathroom and shower area were great!

Terrific location, we were were able to walk everywhere. We had the suite with a balcony and it fit four adults comfortably. The a c in the bedroom was wonderful. Filippo, the manager was very helpful,

No breakfast included but given the price we paid, I am not complaining. You had to walk up twelve steps to get to the apartment. For us it was not a problem. I simply am mentioning it for those who might be concerned.

Beautifully decorated. Large space. Comfy bed. We stayed in the Giuliani Suite which included a private terrace overlooking Bologna’s tiled roofs and two of its famed towers; a wonderful space to share a glass of wine at the end of the day. The property is just a short walk away from the main square and foodie walking street. Filippo, our host, was always in close communications to answer all our questions and offer suggestions.
