Very beautiful and big room, easy check in and very nice and friendly host. Clean, qiet and perfect location. Could store luggage for the entire next day and even got home made breakfast. Would recommend!

We did not expect the apartment to be only an "area" in the entire flat. There is a 'common area' which is the breakfast room, which is separated from the private area by a curtain, so no sound proof and we could hear the other guests. Another apartment/area is behind another curtain, which means you can enter the other apartment, where other guests are also staying. We don't really mind but were a little surprised, as we thought it would be the entire appartment for us

Our room was huge and very comfortable, the separate bathroom was in the next door of an adjoining hall with one other room separated by a curtain…a little strange, but we just locked the door. All was good. 😀 The breakfast room was all decked out in shabby sheik and very lovely. The spread was more that adaquate with many choices from yogurt, fresh fruit, & bakery goodies, to coffee fixed to order. The staff was wonderfully cheerful.

Location very good. Breakfast very good and served with a smile. Rooms part of a larger apartment. Bathroom not 'en suite' as such but just outside the bedroom. Communication with owner very good. Lovely old building.

Was a little difficult to locate the apartment on the street since there are multiple other businesses and apartments in the same building complex. Perhaps a more detailed explanation of exactly where the main entrance is to be found.

What a fantastic alternative to traditional hotel stay. We enjoyed every moment of our stay at this idyllic B&B. This tastefully decorated historic B&B within the heart of the historic red brick centre of Bologna was exquisitely decorated and curated by the owner with so much history from her family that made the space such a joy to stay at. The location is stunning and we found all the major attractions within walking distance of the property which we find so much more enriching when discovering any new city. As Bologna is known as the food capital of Italy the breakfasts at BLQ01 didn't disappoint and were a highlight of our stay, all set within a beautifully decorated historic dining room within the property. We would have loved to stay longer in Bologna but perhaps we will be able to visit some time again, bit we will most certainly be very honoured if we were able to stay at BLQ01 Boutique B&B on any future stay. Perhaps we didn't find it but it would have been great if the property had a useful booklet on all the attractions within the neighbourhood, including useful tips regarding the best coffee shops, restaurants, pastioccerias and gelaterias as well as recommendations for booking requirements etc. The room was very comfortable, however with each guest travelling with on average 2.5 devices it would be handy if the room was equiped with an international power board with ample power and usb outlets for recharging devices.

Great location, convenient for exclusive shopping, old city and the best ice cream. Gaia is a fantastic, helpful, knowlegable hostess. Room is spacious, comfortable and full of fascinatibg antiques but not cluttered. Excellent healthy breakfast. Thought about future of planet earth is evident everywhere. Historic well keptN building. Use of recycled and vintage materials in the rooms and breakfast areas. Skylights compensates for lack of windows. Easy access to third floor by modern, spacious elevator.

We loved our stay at BLQ 01boutique B&B! Gaia was very responsive and helpful about check in/out and booking us a cab. I found the app for locking/unlocking doors a nice supplement to physical keys too. In addition to preparing us a tasty breakfast and making excellent cappuccinos, the woman working in the morning was very sweet! The room was quite large and comfortable and the skylight let in good natural light. Great value! Would happily stay again.

the host was super friendly and helpful. the room is very spacious. the location is just perfect. central enough but a bit away from the crowd.

If the toilet is inside the room that would be just perfect. it was getting a bit cold in nov, we were unable to switch on heating in the room ( assuming it run on a central heating system if the weather is drop below certain temperatures)

The location was ideal. Right in the centre, surrounded by all the sights, a 3 min walk from the Piazza Maggiore. Gaia was a brilliant host. We loved the romantic shabby, chic style. Lovely artwork in the room and original features including the terrazzo flooring and beams. Snacks, hot drinks all there in our room upon check-in. Breakfast was excellent. A big selection, delicious hot and cold food, fresh pastries, sweet & savoury, fresh fruit. We left stuffed and very happy, fueled for our day of sightseeing. Wish we could have stayed longer. We've recommended this beautiful b&b to family and friends. We will be back! Thank you 😊

We didnt not like anything. One thing to mention for people who like views. There are no views because of the way these beautiful old buildings are built, the top floor - where the b&b is located - only has skylight windows. And the only thing to mention is the bathroom is compact, so it's a wet room, no shower enclosure but it was spotless and has everything you could need!

Great location. Nice to meet someone and do a personal check in. Really convenient place, lovely and clean. Spiral staircase to upper floor may be an issue for anyone with mobility issues but only a point of information. Would highly recommend.

Noisy neighbours with a barking dog but we weren’t in much thank goodness! Obviously, not something the owners of our property can do anything g about.

A lovely little place, full of charm and quirky touches. Our room was bright and airy and spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable and the linen luxurious. The location was great - within walking distance of the main attractions and lots of bars and restaurants. Communication was extremely quick and we were able to check in early and keep our luggage there before our flight home. They even booked a taxi for us to get back to the airport. I would highly recommend this place.

Bathroom was a little small, but it really wasn't an issue. Shower was hot and powerful which made up for it!
