Great place with a view to two towers, in a historical building in the very heart of the city, the location is exceptional. Comfortable bed, good shower. The common area with tea and coffee was very nice it the evening. The communication with the host was great, she was very helpful and booked me a taxi on my way to the airport.

If there is someone in the next room, you hear every step and cough. Two first nights was quiet because the next room was empty, but then it changed. Also, on Friday night it was very noisy until 2AM because of the bar outside the building, even with the closed window.

Views from Altana superb Location great. High quality fitments, loved the floors in particular. Staff - Teresa was extremely helpful and very kind, she did a lot more for us (booking taxi, helping with luggage) than was expected. Also we were allowed to leave our luggage in the apartment on the Monday as our flight was late at night. This was very kind too! The toilet paper was scented!

Nothing of note, although it was difficult to find a tea towel. Eventually found one in the cupboard but I'm not sure if we should have gone in there. Maybe provide some kitchen (paper) towels too, for spillages?

great location, friendly staff and right in the center of town. historical place with great atmoshere, lovely view and also has a commom living room, dining room, kitchen and terrace. wine is at your discretion with really good prices. quiet and spacious.

i took one point off because of breakfast that is at a local cafe. it was not open so we could Not have breakfast in the morning and had to look for alternatives. it was not comfortabile since we have a 3 year old girl that could. ot have breakfast before a long trip to another location

Everything was superb! From start to finish, up to the very last detail. The host was amazing, she even helped us book a taxi to the airport. Clean, best view in the city, quiet (the windows definitely blocked the sound) and situated in a very good location. The breakfast at the pasticceria was delicious, and it's very close to all the big attractions.

There is a lift for most of the way up, however you will need to climb a few stairs to reach the room. The building is old, so this was expected. Take your bags one at a time and you'll be fine :)

This was a really great stay. The room was large, clean, airconditioned and modern. The rooms are towards the top floor of a palazzo and there is a common room/kitchen/small rooftop balcony with a fridge etc. The neighborhood is lively at night with some very enjoyable bars and restaurants. We dropped off our bags early on the day of check-in, and checked out slightly later to catch a train - everyone was very accommodating.

Lovely location in a very pretty square and close to main attractions. Very big spacious room, fridge with water, great breakfast voucher for nearby cafe. The girl who met me was friendly and helpful. Safe and quiet at night. They let me leave my luggage for the day which was super helpful.

Great location, on one of the nicest squares of Bologna. Beautifully decorated rooms, very comfy beds, lovely linen and toiletries provided. Our host was so nice, she let us check in early and provided us with vouchers for breakfast at the nearby cafe, which was brilliant. Fresh sparkling or still water provided too.

Quite a a few steps leading up to the rooms but there is a lift for most of it and it’s worth it for the views you get!

Right in the city center in a very old palazzo. The room was very clean and comfortable! the staff was very friendly and easy to communicate! even if there is no reception they were very easy to contact via what app. there is a small elevator, but still you need to climb few steps, so wanted to mention that it’s not very friendly for people with walking disabilities

Great location in Piazza San Stefano, right in the heart of the old town. Spacious room and excellent shower. Coffee and pastries provided at a cafe were good.

Quite a flight of stairs even after taking the lift. Towels only change every 3 days. Cleaning not very thorough, bin in toilet not emptied.

The property is located where the action is in the old city - very good location. Offered us free breakfast, which was not originally included, an excellent add on value.
