The hotel was absolutely stunning. Everything was perfect. There was a possible parking inside the garden. We got also bus tickets for 1.5 Euro. The bus station (bus 7) is only 3-4 minutes from the hotel and takes you to the city center in 15 minutes more or less. The room was clean and spacious. We got a bottle of red wine (Chianti) as a welcome drink with 2 glasses, that was really a kind gesture and the wine was really great :) There are orange trees around the entrance. We got different keys, not only for the rooms but for the main entrance and other doors as well. A map was given and explained to us about Firenze, especially the traffic and public transport options that really helped. The breakfast was simple but delicious.

Very nice and friendly staff. The room was extremely spacious (two rooms actually), the bathroom too. Air conditioning in both rooms, very nice terrace. The whole place was very clean, the breakfast is very nice as well.

The location for me was perfect for me as I had business in San Domenico, which is an 8-minute bus ride (or 25 min. walk) from the place. But it must be noted that the apartment is not in the center (takes cca. 30 minutes to get there by bus). Also, the room looks on a busy road, so traffic can be loud if the windows are opened. Even with closed window noise sensitive people may need earplugs. But there are really minor issues, the place is very nice and worth the price.

We enjoyed the location very much and the property is very attractive,it has good facilities. A very nice experience overall.

Bad hospitality experience: We didn’t like the staff approach, very bad customer service, it wasn’t pleasant at all. We just asked the lady there to let us stay 3 people in a room (as a family), we assumed that it was not originally planned for us to be 3, but later our daughter joined us on vacation. The woman there didn't want it in any way, she didn't have a bit of understanding and empathy, even though we explained it to her, she cited the fact that in Italy that's the law, 2 people in one room. Very bad of her, that's not how you attract customers, you drive them away. It's a shame about the accommodation and location, which is awesome... Thank you!

Beautiful house in lovely, peaceful location only around 30 minutes walk from the city centre. An oasis to return to in the searing heat. We stayed on the first and last nights of a road trip. Great place to park up the car and leave - certainly don't want a car in the centre of Florence. We walked into the city easily but there is also a good bus service. We also found plenty of local supermarkets and places to eat. We had visited Florence before, but only the centre - really enjoyed this out of the centre location. Our room each time we stayed was lovely, particularly on our return, well equipped, great size and clean. Breakfast was excellent and the owner and her daughter, I believe, were on hand for any enquiries. Dimora Salviati is the picture postcard of a house in the Florence outskirts - just delightful.

Very clean & spacious apartment set in a heritage property from mid 1800’s. They have an aircon in every room which was a godsend in the heat. Property has all the required amenities and public transport is within ~3 minutes, tickets for which you can purchase from the property. There are also restaurants & cafes down the road. The location is about 15-20min to the centre of Florence as well as SMN train station by taxi which was our preferred commute. Shoutout to the owner, Simona who is a very kind and gracious host. She even dropped us to the station in her own car when we were unable to get a taxi. Would highly recommend !

The villa setting in private grounds with a gated driveway is stunning. Francesca and her mum are so welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The suite is spacious and allows family members to have privacy. There is a mini fridge stocked with reasonably priced drinks. The breakfast is extensive and caters for different dietary/allergy requirements. Very good selection of sweet and savoury including meat, cheese and eggs. Fresh juices and choice of coffee. Thorough cleaning of rooms every day and frequent linen changes. It is easy to get to Florence or Fiesole on the no 7 bus. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again as it's like a home from home.

Everything was great!

Apartment was amazing with added bonus of a private roof terrace with amazing views towards Florence. Everything you could need was provided including iron & ironing board, use of washing machine and handy clothes airer to dry our things. A few mins walk from bus stop, news stand, cafe and pizza restaurant. Not located in centre of Florence but easily accessible by bus (no more than 15mins) but equally located 10mins by bus to Fiesole, a beautiful old town overlooking Florence, well worth a visit. Am amazing stay, thank you Dimora Salviati.

Nothing to dislike

Loved our generous room - more of an apartment with huge bedroom - comfortable bed; a gorgeous balcony - separate sitting area with desk and mini fridge then a clothes closet with safe and huge bathroom with great shower. Our check in was warm and welcoming & very helpful with bus tickets been able to be bought for no 7 into Florence city and up to Fiesole. Breakfast catered for all tastes and plentiful. Private car parking available making independent travel in a city easy.

It is a great location, outside of the buzz of the tourist areas but still close to them, (30 minute walk) on the upscale part of the town, with great hospitality of the owners. A good base to explore Florence and go on day-trips too in Tuscany. The hosts were very devoted to give the best service to their guest and all our extra requests were handled professionally. We were very happy we chose this place.

Although it is a quiet neighborhood, cars passing by in the roundabout may be bothering for some people in the early morning if the window is open.

Very large room with full equipments. It is very good to have washing machine to do the laundry. We arrive there by rental car and they provide parking space (although not free). So, we don't need to park in central Florence where is lots of ZTL and hard to find a pakring lot. Bus stop is nearby and it only take about 15-20 min to the central Florence by bus.

It would be great if the paking is free. However, it is OK to pay the reasonable paking fee.
