Bloom Hotel Rome

- excellent location, bus stop in 2 minutes walk - around 7 minutes walking to Vatican Square - great staff - spacious room and large bed - the crib for the child - Carrefour supermarket accros the street - very clean room

- the only minus was that the room was not well sound proofed. In one night we could hear what another hotel guest was talking.

Room was beautiful, clean and spacious. Lots of sockets but you need the 3 prong adapter for them. Close to Vatican and a train station but a bit further to walk for the other attractions. The balcony terrace was lovely place to sit and enjoy the view of the Vatican. Staff seemed friendly. Hotel is quiet and relaxing.

Breakfast was really poor. The same mouldy tomatoes (decoration!!!) sitting on the cheese platter for 4 days! Bread was stale... as well as the cakes! Little choice. No coffee sachets in the room is a bit mean! Wouldn't break the bank to offer some when it advertises coffee tea in the room.

Very nicely designed,clean and overall pleasant. The staff was very attentive and welcoming.

The only bad thing is the location. The hotel is located up on the hill with only one bus(64) that is close

Really liked the location so close to the Vatican. It was easy to get to and from. In the evenings it was nice that the neighbourhood was quiet after a busy day in the centre. Really loved the actual room which was ideal for a family. We absolutely loved the gaming station next to the breakfast room. Genious really. Really happy with this hotel and have no problems recommending it.

The breakfast was a little underwhelming. All the things were there but the quality of pastries and other things was not great. Also, one day we came back to the room and the door was open as cleaning staff had left it open. Nothing was missing but it didn't feel great.

Nice room - modern fit outs and bathroom with amenities. Decent twin beds although a little hard but well air conditioned. Decent size for Rome at that price. Good location for the Vatican and Travastere but a bit of a hike to centre of town. Good recommendations from FOH staff about restaurants, tips etc.

I tried to cancel my reservation 8 hours after cut off for free cancellation and they refused. I had got the date wrong and only realised the next morning and called them to cancel. It was a week out from the booking date and they had plenty of time to get other guests in but claimed there was nothing they could do and that I would have to pay the cancellation fee. I was travelling for a conference and found a hotel in a better location but ended up staying at Bloom because of this because it wasn't a cheap cancellation. I know there is a cut off etc and that it was my fault but the way they fought me on it was a bit of poor start to my stay with them and just didn't give me the best feeling.

The room was big enough and the facilities were adequate. There was rain shower in the bathroom and a bidet. Fridge was sufficient. There was a nice balcony with a table and chairs so we could enjoy nice wine and snacks watching the rain and the dome of San Pietro, even though we were at the first floor. It's easy to guess that the upper floors have even a better view. The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel was in a secluded residential area with gates which felt really safe and local. Parking had charging points which can be enabled by the hotel and they charge extra for it (18 instead of 15). We took breakfast only 1 day but it was good enough for an Italian breakfast and they charge you 8 euros for it which is competitive for Rome.

The location is slightly up on the hill which is a little tiring after walking all day in the city, but still worth for the positives.

The rooms were spacious there was four girls sharing they gave us the family room two bedrooms with two bathrooms was the perfect set up. We all had our own space and balconys. The hotel is in a gated area so safe the bus stopped right outside in the street the 64 took us everywhere for 2.50 for 100mins the Vatican was a 10min walk. There is a shop right across the road to get supplies. There is a beautiful restaurant right down the road worth trying

The bed wasn't the most comfortable there a bit hard ok for a few days but couldn't do a week

The hotel is on a quiet, dead-end street with lots of greenery (hence the name Bloom, I assume). The location is great, the Vatican is only a short walk away and it's easy to find restaurants and shops nearby. Everyone we met from the hotel staff was very accommodating and kind. Our room was clean and also quiet despite it being on the first floor.

The breakfast selection is not too impressive, and many items were cold or missing by the time we got there at 9 am (breakfast is served until 10.30 am so we weren't exactly last minute). Our bathroom also had some minor issues - our shower wall was leaking water, so the bathroom got soaked after each shower, and some extra furniture to put your toiletries on would be appreciated.

The hotel location was in a more residential area, that means that it was quite area. The bus station connecting to the old center was 3 minutes away, with a interval of 5 minutes. Breakfast was nice, the staff very really nice and the room was clean.

The breakfast was nice, except the warming dish did not keep the food warm. The window from the room was frosted, which is good for the bathroom but not for the main room. However, they are in the process of changing those window and at that time there was no other room with normal window available that we could change with.

Excellent hotel. Staff was very respectful, helpful and cordial with us. We felt very welcome and had a wonderful experience. The suite was very comfortable with accommodation for a family of 4. Each of my kids had their own bed and we had the master room. You can move around either by taxi, public transportation or walking.

I’m very pleased. Nothing to complain about.
