Nice hotel close to vatican, far from the city center (5.5 km to coliseum) but bus close by. Room is nice and big, tiny TV but you won't use it and only one plug socket (at least my room) located at the bathroom

Great location, great room set up, lots of space for the value! This is a pilgrimage hotel for certain, and that is why we were staying. We were traveling with a 23 month old, and they provided a crib for us upon request. We also drove our own car, and there was free parking included, which was very convenient. The breakfast was great, and is an option to reserve with your room. The location is great since it sits on top of a hill overlooking Vatican City. It is in a quiet area, and I liked the strict rules, making it more family friendly. There are two chapels located on site, which is great for pilgrims traveling in larger groups. The facilities are great -- a full bar and restaurant, lunch and dinner are served if you do not want to walk down into town to find something. Elevators are great if you have a wheelchair or stroller. The rooms are basic, but this is a pilgrimage hotel, not a luxury hotel. Bring extension cords because there may only be one or two outlets in your room, and make certain you have an old Italian plug adapter. The beds were a little stiff, but it didn't matter to us when we were exhausted at the end of the day. Highly recommend taking advantage of the hotel breakfast and restaurant services because the next closest places are much further away and more expensive

It is a bit of a walk to St Peters square, currently 15min or more due to current construction on the St Peters train station stop, which means you have to walk all the way around to get to the closest entry point to St Peters square. Consider when making reservations for events at the Vatican or in the area, especially if you do not have your own transportation and rely on public transportation to get around. Also, if you are limited mobility or require assistance, let them know because the breakfast area or little chapel could be more difficult for you to access-- let them know in advance so they are prepared to assist you.

We could walk to everything we wanted to see without being right in the town. Train station was very close and several cafe's and restaurants to hand too. There's a bar and roof top terrace to enjoy cocktails and coffee. Most rooms have balconies. Clean towels every day.

The breakfast was continental so was mostly cakes and pastries with ham and cheese slices. There was something which we assumed was scrambled eggs but was in a block. Unfortunately I couldn't eat most of the breakfast so would have been a waste of €9 for me but I'm sure it was delicious if you can eat it. Would have been nice to have tea coffee making facilities in the room especially as the bar doesn't open until the afternoon but the receptionist did come and make us a coffee. The hotel had a lot of echo so everything sounded a lot louder and was quite noisy throughout the night with doors banging and people's phones going off.

The breakfast was great, a large variety of foods every day! Coffee machines, different fruits, yoghurts, pastries, jams, Nutella, oatmeal. Warm food available with scrambled eggs & bacon with some cold cuts, cheese and bread, which could be toasted. The room for two people was comfortable with two separate beds. Quiet neighbourhood on the hill, a nice 10-15 min walk to the downtown area where you can find all the shops and nice restaurants - plus of course the Vatican City.

- The walls of the building are very thin so we heard people arriving / leaving during the night/early morning. - In the bathroom, it was difficult to use the toilet with the seat on as is was shorter/smaller than the toilet itself (which was in an elongated shape). - The morning "fruit juices" are just bad tasting sugar water, not real fruit juices.

Basic but very clean room, large terrace with lateral view to St. Peter's Basilica, very close to Vatican, close to shops and restaurants - great location, quiet area. Good wi-fi. Apart from the stairs, you can also reach using another road. Good price-quality ratio. Parrots flying near the terrace, good breakfast-more sweets and great coffee. We will come back!

The bathroom needs some updates. Sound insulation - we heard other noisy people during the night.

First and foremost - lovely helpful staff, which is the most important thing for me (a shoutout to the cleaning lady who made my room SPOTLESS every day and sings mist beautifully! ) The location is superb and through blind luck I even had a view of St. Pietro from the balcony! The breakfast was DELICIOUS, and the room was simply perfect containing all one needs to have / even a proper wardrobe. The bathroom had a bidet - something every hotel in EU should have!- and the showee water was great. The street to the hotel is lined up with jasmin bushes which were in bloom and the whole stay was simply a perfection.

Hotel is very clean, friendly staff, breakfast and free parking and located very close to the Vatican (about a 15 minute hike). Rooms were comfy, large and the property felt secured. Also has a restaurant on site plus a coffee bar on the lounge. Our room had 2 bedrooms and a total of 4 beds making it very family friendly. Rooms had AC and shower was great.

They ask you don't make noise or shower after 11pm which might be a problem if you are traveling with young adults who are enjoying the Rome nightlife. We actually enjoyed the fact that it was nice, calm and quite at night to rest from a day of walking and touring 🙂

A very great value. Simple, comfortable rooms with air-conditioning. Close to train station and Vatican.

1.I did not received any reply on myesseges i sent through booking.com 2.Also my flight was cancelled, and instead of 2 days i could stay 1 day only. its indeed not their fault, but when i arrived on 2nd day at 10 am, they not wanted to let me check in, they said it "after 3pm, its after 3pm". A lady came, understood my issue (i was actually 18 hours after 3pm) and i could check in earlier. it was a little inconvenient that i had to fight for my room for i paid, but all was good at the end.

old hotel, 70s, everything is the same in the room, old, shabby with time, worn walls, shower room, doors, since the beds were separate, we connected two under one turned out to be a lot of dust, there is a balcony, but the plastic chairs are dirty. location - 10 minutes to the Vatican, on foot, however, the return is much longer, since you have to climb the mountain, keep this in mind if you with children. if you have neighbors, you will hear everything even what they are talking about!

The location is so close to the Vatican City. Just walking distance to famous sites. The inside room is organized and clean. Also spacious. The breakfast room was big and lots of options. Also with overlooking of the place

Almost nothing except the elevator is narrow, good for us we’re slims and just normal pack of luggage.
