Hotel Ponte Sisto

The room was really comfortable, with a really pretty little balcony, and just right for my needs. I also loved the location near the Ponte Sisto Bridge and great shopping near Campo dei Fiori.

I saw stored baggage on the steps leading to the lower level -- unsupervised and not in a secure area. Given how easy it is to step into the hotel lobby from the street, I think the security of this baggage could and should be better (I did not store mine, nor would I for this reason).

The room was a great size for a European City Centre hotel. Location was fantastic and roof top bar was amazing. There are 3-4 loungers on the rooftop - a great place for a late afternoon siesta. The bar was only open for a few hours in the evening (until 11pm I think) but there was loads of bars and restaurants close by. Breakfast was good and lovely sitting in the open courtyard (just watch out for the small birds if you leave your food unattended). Air conditioning in the room worked well.

Fantastic location for all the sights- all within walking distance. Lovely easy walk to Trastavere for lots of restaurants and supermarket just next door. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Great breakfast with an excellent selection. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice courtyard and rooftop to sit with a drink - the hotel had a really lovely atmosphere.

We liked everything but I recommend to pack earplugs in case you get the room we had above the street - however the superb location outweighs the disturbed sleep!

the staff was not friendly at all I often felt as if I annoyed them when I asked a question or for them to call me a taxi

Great Breakfast at the court yard. location next to the Ponte Sisto Bridge, nearby restaurants on both sides of the river, and being in the vicinity of major attractions and piazzas were all plus. The terrace bar and the view on top added more pleasure to our stay.

It would have been more pleasant if the bread selections at the breakfast buffet were more. Also, having a larger toaster with continual rolling toasting mechanism would make breakfast time more convenient & enjoyable - having only one small toaster for all patrons cannot be acceptable. lastly, our favorite croissant (custard/yellow cream filled) would finish early hour in the morning and they were not available any longer during breakfast time!

Excellent location right by Ponte Sisto which means you can easily walk to the majority of the main tourist locations. Also you have Trastevere just across the bridge which was a fun location in the evenings. Also the rooftop terrace is beautiful and the breakfast is served outside in a lovely courtyard.

Only suggestion for improvement would be service when I first arrived. It was very efficient but I had a very large suitcase and no one offered to help me with my luggage. Also I had to ask for a map. As it was my first time in Rome it would have been nice to have been given suggestions of places near the hotel to visit or eat.

The facility is lovely with relaxing gathering spots and gorgeous courtyard. The rooftop bar was an added bonus. The rooms are well appointed and elegant. The breakfast is fantastic with many choices and delicious pastries. The added bonus was that the concierge at reception remembered me from a previous stay almost ten years ago! It is also convenient to many restaurants and coffee bars.

I always chuckle about the location because it is tucked away and almost have to know exactly where it is to find the entrance. Kind of a well-kept secret! Not a problem because it remains far quieter than many traditional hotels.

The location was excellent and the staff were very friendly. the open courtyard and roof top Terrance were a real bonus. Breakfast was a real treat with a great selection.

The bathroom was not properly cleaned on arrival and the furniture and fixtures are very tired and requiring replacement. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable. A kettle in the room would have been more useful than the mini bar. Paying over £200 a night and a 4* classifications I would not expect the heating/air con to be taped over so you can’t use it. definitely not a 4 star hotel, some investment is required.

Ponte Sisto was a wonderful experience. I stayed there 5 days with two friends. I had my own room. The hotel was lovely and clean. The breakfast in the morning on the outdoor patio was just excellent. The breakfast hosts were superb, professional and friendly. The food was excellent! We loved the location near the Campo de Fiori and Travestere. The hotel came highly recommended and it far exceeded my expectations. We loved the outdoor bar and seating on the rooftop every night, often very late, where we had drinks and appetizer food. Outstanding!!

Truly, I cannot think of how this hotel could be better! It was everything I wanted in a hotel. A great breakfast, excellent workers, lovely room, great shower, rooftop bar and seating, cleanliness. excellent location.

Excellent breakfast and a great location near Trastevare, Piazza Navona and Pantheon. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice toiletries. Slippers were a lovely surprise. Good gelato and many restaurants and shops within minutes of the location. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to our family and friends!

Pillows were a bit flat. We experienced some noise from people at the Ponte Sisto bridge in evenings but nothing that kept us awake. There were limited hotel bar hours and no rooftop service during the time of our stay, but we suspect this would improve during the summer. None of these things detracted from our pleasant experience at the hotel.
