Great location and the staff were awesome.

Slanted roof in the bathroom. I am 6’2 and could not stand up straight. More of an inconvenience but if we were staying longer I would have had to ask for a different room.

Great location about a 10 minute walk from the train & bus station. Furthermore, the staff was absolutely amazing! Very friendly, helpful & proactive which has made our stay more than perfect. Room was great as well. Quiet and clean, modern & comfortable beds. Breakfast is great & tasty as well. 100% recommended!

Reception is on the other side of the street in the Academia hotel. Signs would be helpful.

Great location, friendly and welcoming hotel staff. The receptionist provided us with a map from venice and also offered helped with a reservation for dinner. The room was cozy and clean. I would totally recommend going there.

One tiny little thing was slightly confusing. The hotel is sharing is reception with another one which meant you need to check in vis-a-vis of the place where you are actually staying, which we did not see directly, but a friendly member of the hotel staff saw us wandering around and offered help.

The small room and toilet. no bidet. Only one chair. The second person had to sit on the bedside table. The passage to the bed is so small that I had to bend over to avoid bumping into the mirror frame. The staff was very friendly. But when we were leaving, a very unpleasant incident happened. I warned the staff that I had to leave very early, at 4.45 am. I was told that I could check out without any problems at this time. But when we arrived, the door was closed, and no one answered the calls. Only after 5 minutes of ringing and knocking on the door did the receptionist come out to us. We almost missed the bus to the airport.

location was amazing as it’s close enough to the bus and train stations, but also right in the middle of restaurants/bars/cafes. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They also got in contact with us immediately when they discovered we left a passport behind!! very helpful :-)

We had a very small issue with the air conditioner leaking, but this may have been our fault for leaving it running while we were out the entire day. We did not realize it would continue running after pulling out the card which activates the electricity in the room. The staff were very quick to come to the room and clean up the water on the floor and explain what happened.

Great location, surrounded by shops and restaurants and only a 10 minute walk from the Station Rooms were big, clean and modern as was the rest of the building. Very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend.

There wasn't a lift which I know isn't there fault but carrying heavy cases up 5 flights of stairs wasn't ideal. But the man from the sister hotel opposite did kindly carry them up on arrival for us.

Room was very nice, air con worked well and the bed + pillows were very comfortable. 24/7 reception with friendly staff was great too. We even had coffee, tea and milk in the room. Amazing location right on the main road but I didn't hear any noise at all and I'm a very light sleeper. The room is probably on the smaller side if you're staying for several days and have a lot of clothes to unpack but we were only there for 2 days and found it okay. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back.

Slightly pricey and rooms on the smaller side but you're paying for the location so it's to be expected. Also reception is in another hotel opposite for some reason (it's the same management), but we had no troubles with it.

The rooms are very clean, nicely decorated and new. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. They gave some good advice for restaurants. The breakfast is very good, though limited. The sound insulation is quite good as the street in which the hotel is in is quite busy. The air conditioning works well. In general, the room was almost perfect.

There could have been glasses instead of cardboard cups in the room. There was only one thrash can in the entire room. Another outside the bathroom would have been useful. There was a green light on up on the ceiling the entire duration. It appeared to do something with the air conditioning.

I only had breakfast one day. It was very nice with lots of choices and a gorgeous palatial hall for the dining room. I felt like I was in a Renaissance "Ca".

I had to climb 56 steps to get to my room. I understand that it was impossible to install an elevator in such an old building, The steps appeared to be newly constructed, were nicely carpeted and, after the second day, very easy to climb. I am NOT complaining, just voicing my observation. The lack of an elevator will NOT keep me from returning to Hotel alle Guglie, but other guests might not feel the same way and would prefer to receive a "heads up" about the lack of an elevator before reserving a room.
