Hotel Rossi

The location of this hotel is perfect and the prices of restaurants in the area are cheaper than the famous San Marco. I would suggest not stay at the San Marco area and use 5.1 water bus to go around and have fun. Also the staff are friendly and they speak english (a rare thing in Venice). Moreover, they allowed us to checkout at 12 instead of 11 and I highly appreciated that.

The rooms are a bit small and the ensuite bath and toilet does not have windows so the ventilation is not enough to stop mould. Also missing breakfast and elevator this is not ideal for a family.

This hotel is in a great location! Not too far from the bus stop or the train station, nor a luggage storage facility that we used with no issues! Also, there's not many steps to climb to get to this! Think of this when carrying your luggage! The hotel is basic, but in the end it exceeded my expectations! But also for the price compared to other hotels in Venice, if I travel back to Venice soon I will stay here again!

Room is tiny, but everything in Venice will be. So its not negative just for this hotel, but all affordable hotels in Venice. Do wish it had a TV in the room though or a hair dryer!

Sink in the bedroom and function air con were unexpected perks for the budget of the hotel. Had everything we needed, and surprisingly quiet considering its proximity to a very busy street. Great location for exploring all the main bits of Venice and close to the station.

Shower was a tiny bit broken- functioned if held, but the shower head slid down the pole no matter what you did. Only a tiny inconvenience.

The hotel has a perfect location, it is in a dead end street so no one passes through and it’s so quite yet really close to the Main Street where you can find shops, restaurants and move around vence easily within 30 minutes walking maximums. The receptionist was really friendly answering questions and doing the check in. Room was clean though little bit small. Bathrooms were clean but I don’t think they should be more routinely checked. All in all good stay.

Chose this hotel as I had read the reviews that the location was good and that was my main priority and it didn't disappoint, the location is amazing. Right in the heart of it all but down a little side alley with a dead end so you get nobody passing through and it's far enough down that you aren't disturbed by any noise on a night time. Staff are friendly and helpful and the room is basic but has everything you need if just using it as a base and spending the majority of your days out and about as we were. Overall a great stay for us.

Breakfast not available at Hotel. Hotel was quite close to the station and in good location. Able to contact the reception even in the odd timings. Staff was good and helpful, always reachable

May be cleanliness could be a bit better. No complaints, but well maintained. Not all rooms were connected with a washroom. Common bathrooms are not maintained the best. I used one common bathroom once (on the day we landed, early check-in) it was on 2nd floor, no hanger to hang clothes, no soap box. I cannot expect anything more from a common bathroom.

Fantastic location which is 7min away from train station! Save the hassle from taking water taxi which is forever crowded! You will not hear any noise even tho its one stone throw away from main street.

Im petite and i do find the toilet abit squeezy 😅 basin really small. Overall its clean though! Theres no lift so you will need the staff help if you have big luggages.

The hotel is very clean and located in the main street, where you can find everything for example the supermarket, café or the roads to the city and the trainstation is nearly to the hotel. The stuff is very kind and the room is everyday cleand and you get a new towels everyday. One of the best experince, that i've ever had!

The location is just perfect, because its very close to all the types of entries to the city car, train or boat. Everything was just like in pictures, beds are comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfect. The guy in reception was kind and fast during check in. They provide towels and some soap and shampoo. For me it was a more than I was expecting for the price and compared to Venice average.

They must improve the wifi, almost didn’t work and when worked very slow.

Excellent location, 5 minutes walking from Vaporetto and railway station. A few more minutes walking from Piazzala Roma. Very quiet street and comfortable beds allowed to have a proper rest during night.

Some electrical plugs not working. Air conditioning a bit noisy, so I preferred to have it turn off during night. Must be very careful closing the curtain when taking a shower to avoid flooding the bathroom.
