Hotel Guerrini

Super nice and helpful staff. Fully functional AC and strong as hell. Both me and my girlfriend was shivering of cold when we let it run for the entire night. Super nice location. Walking distance to guglie (boat buss Station) and to piezziale roma (Central Station of Venice)

The breakfast wasn't very impressive. Would have liked a little more variety. But it was easy to find nice breakfast elsewhere so not much of a issue really.

For travelers arriving by train/bús, the hotel has a perfect location, as it is close to the St Lucia train station and Piazzale Roma main bus station. Also, the hotel is located in an alleyway, so there is no noise from the busy streets. The receptionists are really helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great.

The walls were very thin, we could here the neighbors showering and noises coming from the other rooms. The room only had one power socket, which makes it difficult to charge phones, cameras.

I liked how close it was to the train station so I didn't need to drag my suitcase across Venice. It is also in a nice side street which means it is more quiet. The staff were super friendly. You can control the temperature of the A/C. You get free toiletries and the room was comfortable and clean.

The WiFi did dip in and out and there is no lift. This means if you have a heavy suitcase you will need to carry it up. No lifts are a feature of a lot of hotels in Italy though. You can hear a lot of noise from the corridor outside your room.

there was small lighting from the devices in the room which were on at night, doesn’t really impact my quality of sleep but would be perfect without it.

The hotel was situated 4 minutes walk from the train station, which was a bonus. The room was decorated in an older Italian style, but that was what we were looking for and was well equipped with ample plugs to charge phones, watches etc. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean and again well equipped. Our rooms were in the annex across from the main hotel building but it was just a short hop across the courtyard for breakfast in the morning.

For the price we paid we had nothing to be disappointed in. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was nice. Brioche, fruit, yoghurt and coffee. More than enough to set us up for our days of exploration.

A friend and I spent two nights in Venice. We each had our own room. The hotel totally met our needs. * We arrived early in the morning; they were happy to check us in and hold our bags until our room was ready. * The hotel is about a three-minute walk to the Grand Canal and on the main tourist shopping street, so it was perfect for us. There was even a small supermarket on the street, so we were able to stock up easily. * The staff was super friendly. They were really easy to talk to, and were full of tips and advice for getting around the city. I would have NEVER found the cell phone store to buy an Italian SIM card without their help :) * My room was always clean. I never actually saw any housekeeping staff, but wherever they were hiding, they did a good job. * Did I mention the location? We weren't that far from the train station, so we were able to walk there with our bags when we left, and we were fairly close to the entrance way to the city, which is important in a town that has no cars. INSIDER TIP: When you take a bus or taxi from the airport, there are porters with carts that will lug your bags over the HUGE bridge and straight to your hotel. We paid 30 Euros for 4 large bags, and it felt like a bargain. AND he knew where the hotel was (I showed him the address), which helped so much. Even if we had taken a (much more expensive) water taxi from the airport, we would have had a difficult time finding the hotel on a first visit. I believe there is also train service from the airport - that would have been a little more convenient, even if it cost a few dollars more. I would definitely stay there again, and because Venice was so great to visit, I hope to have the opportunity soon!

* Not enough places to plug things in. The front desk did give me a multi-headed extender, which helped.

The Staff were very accommodating and they replied to my emaik right away as I have delays of my flight from Amsterdam. The location is close to the train station and Water Bus Station. It is quite in my room eventhough it is near at the busy street.

The socket where you can charge your phone is not on the side of the bed and there is only one that is located near the window.

Great location just a 5min walk from Venice train station. Very helpful staff!

Beds were a little small

key card entry to room; staff's english was very good and very helpful in numerous aspects; staff always greeted me entering/exiting; hotel was walkable from train/bus station and fairly straightforward to find; grocery store close by; quiet at night outside of hotel; inside all depended on the guests themselves; breakfast is available for a daily fee; lastly the train station area may not perhaps be considered to be the top choice for most people but you can walk with any luggage just a short distance from train/bus station and if there happens to be a transit strike on the day you are arriving/leaving the effect on you due to the proximity of the stations should be minimal

Due to some sort of construction despite two windows there was no view but that is just a short term thing and bad luck for me; the room was perhaps the tiniest on the entire trip but that is more of a fact than a complaint but it made certain things difficult; despite the hotels best efforts mosquitoes are going to be an issue so I recommend closing the windows and using the a/c to keep the room cool if necessary, even if the weather outside may cool the room

I had a single room with private bathroom. For the price I was expecting something sketchy, but it was great. Super friendly staff. Renovated bathroom and room. The room was small, but I needed just a place to sleep after whole day of walking. When it was cold, AC heating did a job in 5 minutes. Very central location, close to the train station. Definitely can recommend for very short, intensive stays! For longer stays, you would probably prefer something more spacious.

Walls were very thin and you could hear people talking or walking in the corridor. I sleep with earplugs anyway, so it was not a problem for me. Besides that, no complaints.
