Hotel Amadeus

A great size room with everything we needed for a short break. Decor was basic but comfy beds, good shower and clean room! Breakfast was good with good choice and very helpful and efficient staff. We took water bus from the airport which dropped us off minutes from the hotel, a lovely start to the holiday!

Rooms basic decor but you get what you pay for!

it was so close to main road to walk everywhere and to the main canal. I quite enjoyed that it was a bigger room and nicer hotel especially when there were others further away that did not hold up to them. staff were pleasant and breakfast was fantastic.

This was fault of my own but we booked what we thought was one bed to share (my partner and I) but it was 2 double beds pushed together . might be common here in Italy?

The location is a few minutes walking from the main train station and the main bus station. The location is very central and the breakfast is very good. The place was very clean.

The bathroom and the furniture is very old and need to be refresh. In total it was nice hotel, but I think it's overpriced compering to what you get.

Breakfast was fabulous. The room was comfy in It’s size and location. It was very handy for the train and bus station.

The air-con wasn’t on and coming from the UK, we found it very warm at night. The air-con wasn’t due to be switched on til 1st May. The location was central so it was busy on the street and too noisy to have the windows open so it was very hot in the night.

Breakfast was great! We loved the location close to the train station and great shops. Desk personnel helped set up a trip to Murano that was wonderful!

It was hot and before AC could be used. I know that it wasn't the hotel's fault as it was Italy's requirement that it was too early for AC. However, screens on the windows would have been nice to keep the mosquitos out.

Very cool Hotel, and great staff. I would rate this as the best place we stayed at in our 2 weeks around Europe. The room is very cool and funky, and was a joy to stay in. Staff were great and the restaurant was amazing for dinner.

It was all good

Quick and simple check in. First time in Venice we got the room with all real windows looking to park. We like the old charm of the interior. They serve pretty good breakfast, the only missing is some vegetables.

Outdoor garden place could be maintained better and lean all the mold from the floor and tends.

we couldn’t figure out the air conditioning so opened the windows a little. woke up covered in bug bites. we should have left the windows closed and asked for assistance with the a/c.

no flexibility in serving breakfast specifically for vegetarian options as there was significant cross contamination and no appreciation. i end up having breakfast in restaurant near by.

Loved the decor, staff were all really friendly and very central in Venice. With that comes a bit of noise from the main street but that's what you expect in a location like this! Bed was super comfy and breakfast was lovely.
