Hotel Beló Isla Mujeres

The location was wonderful, it was beautiful and off the beaten path from the North side. We rented a golf cart and were able to travel all over the island on it and ultimately coming back to a relaxing and quiet hotel (minus 2 nights). The staff was extremely accommodating and the hotel, pool area and beach were beautiful and well managed.

We stayed six nights, the first two nights were really loud. A wedding party was scheduled in the restaurant and pool area, it was loud and lasted a very long time. The following night, they had a huge group of teenagers that were brought in by boat, all wearing white, they marched through the halls -- chanting and singing loudly -- and made their way to the rooftop pool where they proceeded to play very loud music until about 12:30 am. After the first two nights, there were no other parties. Prior warning about these events would have been nice to know.

The facility, pool area was lovely. The rooms were large and accommodating.

The food choice/prices were ridiculously expensive. I ordered pasta dishes for my teen boys that were the size of an appetizer. The food was beyond expensive for the amount received. I had to purchase a second meal for each teen (4 of them) to be full. I ordered French fries as a snack for around the pool. They were fantastic but there were probably 14/15 fries that cost $10. I was told they only had pino Grigio wine by the bottle so I ordered one as we were there for 3 nights , they did not mention that the bottle cost $115 US. If they could gouge you for anything food wise they did. This was so frustrating that I would not stay there again and it’s unfortunate as the facility is lovely.

We stayed for 5 nights - nice design - very clean and green hotel area - the pool is huge and super clean - Beach area - free coffee and water in the room - nice and kind staff - super well equipped Gym - it’s quiet - Smart TV - very pleasant lightening concept in the rooms

- the Bar was pretty empty every night - Drinks are pretty expensive - the rooms should have more options to dry Bikini, towels etc. (if you don’t get a balcony) - the bedsheets could be replaced since they were quiete abrasive (beds are pretty comfortable though)

Lovely hotel, not too big, not too small. A bit out of the city center, so it is very peaceful. Nice and clean rooms, comfy beds. Very kind and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again, if coming to Isla Mujeres in the future.

Music from the roof top bar is super loud, and they often leave the music by the pool on too, which is very unpleasant to have 2 different musics at the same time. Also they had an electro music party going on the last day we were there - not sure this is the right kind of hotel for such event, as people come here to relax.

What's not to like... This is a beautiful hotel that ticks all the luxury boxes. The staff is superb: they were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was delicious and accommodating to all food requests. The room was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. The beach is lovely and private to the resort. There is a little channel of water to wash your feet after the beach, it's the small things that make a big difference to this lovely resort. The pool was clean and beautiful with a great ambience. The spas are set up so you can enjoy the privacy and overlook the beach, they were also nice and warm. The gym was world-class with an incredible morning view.

The pool area had music playing from early until late which wasn't peaceful for pool facing rooms, and made the balcony an unused space.

Property was absolutely beautiful. Private, right on the beach. Pools were awesome. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and attentive.

Food menu in restaurant was definitely lacking variety and very expensive. We ate at hotel next door which had better pricing and variety. Beautiful swim up pool bar and beach bar but was rarely open. awesome rooftop pool and bar but bar wasn’t open at all during week we were there in high season. No advertised drink specials or happy hour. Again we went to rooftop bar at hotel next door for happy hour most evenings.

It is an amazing hotel, with very friendly and proffesional staff! The Food is incredible! The rooms are amazing and even have streaming such as netflix... Everything is taken care of!

The beach is a little small without much swimming area.

Beautiful hotel room and bathroom. The rooms are very nice and the beds are super comfortable. WiFi and AC worked like a charm. I loved the large pool with swim up pool bar and access to the beach with comfortable loungers. Had a lovely massage right on the beach. Great little hotel gym. Staff was excellent, so helpful and nice. It’s on a quieter part of the island but there are plenty of excellent restaurants within walking distance and everything else is just a short golf cart or taxi ride away.

No hot water if I showered late afternoon.

It was in a nice location it had a nice view of the water. It was peaceful

It has three Jacuzzis none of them worked. We arrive extremely late and they would not extend our checkout time without charging us $20 an hour.

The pool was amazing. The staff members were exceptional. Rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable. Very clean and beautiful. Only $100 pesos (5 USD) to anywhere on the island.

The menu never changed the entire week we were there. Same options for breakfast, lunch and dinner and they wanted to charge $75 ...per person...per day....for all inclusive. Obviously, we did not take that option. The beach area is small but pretty...the problem was that the sand in the water was very slimy and mushy, probably due to the yacht that was anchored at the end of the dock for the week and possibly a permanent anchor. (GROSS) Walking further down the beach to actually get into the sea was much better and felt cleaner.
