Icaco Island Village - Adults Only

We stayed in 3different places in Mexico during our holiday and this was the best!! Super clean rooms, amazing bed and breakfast is in room service with a great view to the sea! Breakfast was a big portion, fruits croissant and fresh juice and yogurt with granola, very delicious!! Receptionist lady was very kind, gave us recommendations where to eat etc, called us taxi whenever we needed. Cleaner ladies are very nice and thorough, our room was immaculate every day. Rooftop is very nice with the small swimming pool and sun beds. Location is great, we rented bikes once and other days just walked, it’s not far from the center and the beach. I can only recommend this place! Very professional staff and comfortable rooms:)

This place is perfect!

I love the BoHo style the room has going. The reception lady Adhara was amazing, not only is she friendly, but she catered to our every need; if we needed a golf cart rental or a taxi or suggestions on where to eat, she was there to assist. The breakfast is amazing and is deliver to your room. The location is great and the hotel catches the best views of both the sunset and the sunrise. You have some views of the beautiful ocean and a comfortable hammock right outside your room and the pool area was perfect for the privacy we desired. we stayed in room number two and the water pressure was great and the hot water stayed on long enough for us to shower comfortably. they provide robes and slippers which we didn’t use but were provided. We will definitely stay there again next time we go to Islas Mujeres. UPDATE*** Adhara on a personal note went out of her way to meet me off the ferry port to returned to me a personal item I left behind in the room. I will forever be thankful for that kind gesture. She went out of her way to do for us. Thank you.

Beautifully designed rooms with unique features which make your visit to the island as unique experience as possible. Really helpful and kind staff who helped to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfasts are excellent and such a lovely touch. Reuested a special welcome for our honeymoon trip and the hote went above and beyond to support this abs made the room look beautiful with added touches.

it was a little out the way of the main areas of the island and was easy enough walk in the day however not so much in the evenings. Some of the unique features such as the shower heads were ok however didn’t make showering as enjoyable as normal shower. nice feature though.

We were super happy with our stay at Icaco Island Village. We live in Quintana Roo and have been n short breaks to Isla many times, so we know what great value is. The best part of our stay was the reception we received. This made our stay! The staff in general were lovely and attentive but in particular we want to mention Adhara, the reception manager, who was so welcoming and friendly. She responded quickly to our every need. we loved the fact that we were able to leave our bags in reception from 9am on the day of arrival. We chose this property because it is away from the busy north beach area. 30 min walk or 5 minute drive from the center. The rooms are very spacious and clean and the decore is well above average for the price. We had a nice private balcony with an amazing sea view. There is also a lovely roof deck with amazing views of both the sunrise and sunset. We always rent a scooter of golf cart for our stay which is a must and gives us the freedom we need to explore the island. The property is in front of one of the main roads and you need to be aware of this. We are ok with the sound of mopeds etc. going by. Apart from at night, don’t expect it to be super quiet. In our opinion that’s part of the charm and hustle and bustle of a small island.

Nothing worth mentioning.

The staff is exceptional and they were very responsive to any of my needs. The room is lovely and spotless! The view of the ocean across the street was fabulous! The rooftop dipping pool and patio was so wonderful!

I didn't realize that it was across a fairly busy street from the ocean and frankly, the photos are misleading. I would also have loved a big water bottle on the upstairs floor or in the room.

The manager Giovanni was nice, courteous, informative and helpful with everything. He even stayed late past his shift to make sure we got our key on the first day. Which reminds me be sure to check your emails it the best way to communicate when staying. The room was beautiful just like the pictures on the site. Lupita was our housekeeper and room service for breakfast. She was so sweet and honey she could clean like nobody's business. She brought breakfast into the room daily between 8-9 am. Be sure to let her know if you don't need or want it that day. Overall I would stay here again.

Stronger wifi but on a small island and stone building it's to be expected since the strength of the network may have a hard time.

The hotel is so beautiful, so clean and great decorated, exactly as described in the photographs. Jovany and Lupita wore wonderful in all ways. Always attentive to help. The breakfast was amazing presented and delicious! The view is precious over crystal blue waters. We loved the terrace and the little pool every sunset. We enjoyed walking at the beach in front of the building and riding the little golf car. The renting of the golf car is a little expensive but very worthy! Our favorite places wore Playa Norte, spent the day and have lunch at Guru Beach club and Punta Sur is so beautiful! The view and the restaurant up on the hills, Wonderful!

Easy to find. So much attention to detail in the design. Good communication with staff. Friendly staff. Helpful staff (gave us great advice for site seeing and restaurants) (also coordinated convenient golf cart rental for 24 hours that was brought to us). I guess the place has a good reputation on the island because our cab drivers knew it well and several restaurant workers.. it seemed we were in good hands. Best part was that because the place is so small we had the rooftop pool area completely to ourselves twice. Protip: bring a lil speaker to play music (not so loud that you might bother others) to the pool and enjoy a few beers under the sun.

The hotel is great as long as you know what to expect! It is so beautiful and photogenic but it is situated right along a busy road. If you want to be on the balcony you will listen to cars and mopeds, not the crashing of the ocean waves (even though you can watch them right there). This was not a problem for us because we read reviews before we came and knew ahead of time. The wifi wasn't strong enough to reach in our room (#4) but it kind of worked from the balcony. Anyways we had cell service. But if you need a strong connection like for work, this is not the place.

The hotel itself is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. Very bohemian and has a relaxed vibe. The staff were so sweet and the receptionist was so kind as well. I was a solo female traveler and felt very safe here which was very important to me. The rooftop patio is also stunning and a great place to relax and enjoy the pool. Breakfast of ample fruit and yogurt was super healthy and fresh.

It’s a bit for from anything. The town is a 20-30 min walk and there are no restaurants close by. The hotel definitely needs to have a snack bar available as it’s hard to get food. Or they should have bicycles available for guests to get around. If you rented a golf cart, this would not be a problem at all. But I didn’t so getting to amenities was hard.
