Selina Poc Na Isla Mujeres

The design and decor were pretty quirky and the overall vibe of the place matched the island. We were looking for a place to have a boogie and a couple of drinks after sightseeing and this was perfect for that as the rest of the island is like a ghost town after midnight.

It was highly priced for a private room within a hostel, included breakfast options were pretty basic, check in and check out experience felt really disconnected and lacking. Also, there were no food options nearby or at least a vending machine to grab something to eat after dancing at the party.

Playa Norte is just a few steps away, the outdoor facilities are beautiful, the staff is super friendly and helpful

It‘s super noisy, there‘s a party going on almost every day until 3am. If that‘s what you are looking for it‘s fun, but if you want to relax and have a quiet holiday, I‘d book something else. The cleanliness could be improved as well, and instead of having ONE en-suite shower and toilet for TWELVE people, a central bathroom with multiple showers would be the better option ;)

Very nice and clean room. Really comfortable bed and pillows. Nice staff and good food in the restaurant. The kitchen that the guests use was clean and large.

When we got there, we first got a room that didn’t look like the pictures at all. It looked like a real budget room and definitely not worth the money. We went back to the reception immediately and got to change to a room that looked like the one we had booked on Booking. Don’t know if they were trying to fool us or what was the idea behind the bad room. It ended well and was easy to change. Other than that, the pool was unfortunately nothing to have. It was dirty and it floated around both hair and stuff from the trees above.

Selina in Isla Mujeres was great! I stayed there during the week in late May and did not have any issues with loud partying. They provide a big down comforter and comfortable beds. Great kitchen area with awesome common space. I did the free yoga one morning and had a blast. Definitely skip the restaurant if you can. There is so much better food outside the hostel doors and for better prices too. The location is perfect. Very close to all the action but up on the end of a street by the beach.

Listen, it's an island so you cannot expect perfection. The room did spell mildewy and the shower was not the cleanest shower I've ever been in. But again, it's a hostel on an island! It was still an amazing stay.

The Selina Hotel was perfect for us. The vibe was amazing, cool location, amazing pool area(!!), yoga classes for free and very nice and friendly staff. The location of the hotel is great as well. Moreover it was possible to use the pool area because we were little to early to check in. At the pool area is a restaurant were you can eat and drink all day long amazing food, a little bit pricey but okay. We really want to recommend this hotel if you love to feel the island life of isla mujeres!

Absolute stunning location, young environment, great pool and bar/restaurant area! One yoga class for free + welcome drink. Super close to Playa Norte! We had a standard room with a private bathroom - nice and fancy furniture, jungle feeling guaranteed.

Very loud in the evenings, every conversation, walking of neighbors can be heard. Hair from the previous guest in the shower, toilet was not 100% clean.

The property is beautiful and probably the best Selina out of all of them.

The AM woman who checked me in was blah. The PM receptionist was Awesome! Also, the AM receptionist tried to pretend like she didn’t understand English when I started complaining and I had previously heard her speaking in English, besides her everything was great. Oh and the dorm bed locker is kinda of in the way.

I fell in love with the place as soon as I arrived! It was hard for me to leave. The staff was super friendly, the restaurant serves great food, the pool area is beautiful and I was absolutely in love with my little teepee. There was an AC inside, a moscito net, and a bed that was super cozy. I regret that I didn't stay longer! Even though I did not work during this trip, I think it's a great place for digital nomads. I had a look at the Co-Working facilities and those look great as well. The shared bathrooms for the teepees were clean just like any other common area. Yes, there is going to be a party on Fridays and Saturdays and it's going to be kind of loud. However, you can either join the party or make use of the ear plugs that I found right next to my bed. I actually did not mind the noise at all. I would come back at any time! If you're looking for island vibes and a special type of accommodation, I definitely recommend the teepees. I also liked the app that gives you the opportunity to book a desk in the co-working area, see the daily activities, connect with fellow travelers and much more.
