Casa del Jaguar Beach Hotel

Pay no attention to the false reviews on this property. Notice that all those reviews are from accounts with just one review. Fake! There are no bugs, the service is incredible, the place is top notch and immaculate. With your room comes access to an exclusive pool at Oceanvs Club steps away from your room only for guests of this Hotel and it is great. You get guaranteed beach chairs or day beds and you can charge your service directly to the room. They cleaned the room every day and replaced the high quality towels. One of the best places I've ever stayed in Mexico period let alone Isla. Couldn't recommend more

First of all, I like the position being close to everything that really matters and that only walking. It is right on the beach, and the important thing is that it has a private area that gives you living space considering that the North Beach could be sometimes very crowded. At the same time in 5-10 minutes you reach Miguel Hidalgo Street which is a pedestrian area full of restaurants, bars and souvenir shops. The rooms are large, comfortable, fully equipped, very clean, very good services (thanks to Marco in particular who is very professional but also very human as well as the whole team at the reception and at the beach bar). It is a good choice considering mainly position, quality of the room and the staff.

It's a little bit pricey. In my oppinion the correct price shoud be around 200-250 usd / night considering the facilities the proprerties offers. What I dislike is that the whole property is a nonsmoking frick control. If you are a smoker, like myself, you should exit the property. We smokers need a place in the open air to sit down and enjoy our cigarettes as long as cigarettes are legally sold in all the shops across the globe, including Mexico.

The hotel area is quiet as opposed to the rest of the Island which can be very loud and crowded. The elegant rooms feature large windows overlooking a lush garden and the view from the balcony has stunning colors which make you want to wake up there forever. The hotel staff was very nice and welcoming at all times. The hotel overall is really nice and elegant and has its own beach which was perfect and really enjoyable, especially early in the morning.

Our room had the toilet and shower area of the bathroom confined to a tiny room so small that the door didn't even fully open, which is kind of weird considering the big size of the room and the rest of the bathroom. The hotel beach becomes a bit loud during the day when all the one-day tourists literally storm the island and the yachts come to moor near the beach, right in front of the hotel.

The location was amazing. The fact that you had access to a private beach was very nice. The people at the from t desk also made sure to help you with any requests or questions that you had.

We arrived from a red eye flight really early at around 9am. We were very grateful that our room was ready. Great location on the beach with dedicated cabana beds with umbrellas. The facilities and rooms are clean and have been renovated recently. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was included in our room rate and the food was great. There are also nice beach clubs on both sides of the hotel. The water is very shallow for about 100 yards out, which was really cool to be able to walk out in the water so far. You can easily walk to the main area of town with lots of bars and restaurants.

It’s hard to find anything I didn’t like about this hotel. The one minor thing is the bed was a bit firm for me. A lot of people may actually prefer that. Overall, amazing hotel and I definitely plan to return.

Food was amazing, room was closer then Id ever been on the island to the beach. Snorkeling was amazing and the rooms were beautiful and clean always.

We Loved Casa Del Jaguar!!! The room was very nice and we were 40 yards from the beach and beach club. The hotel staff was amazing and helped us make Dinner Reservations, renting a golf cart, helping us find a spot for a massage, and were just overall great people. I would highly recommend this place.

The Beach Club was a little slow, but overall we were never in a rush for anything so it was all good. We just chilled and enjoyed great food and drinks on the beach.

It is very quiet location , rooms are very clean, large and well appointed. There is a stocked refrigerator and snacks for purchase in the room. We used the platform beds at the beach and enjoyed the beach and had full drink and food service from the bar on the beach. The beds are included if you stay at the Jaguar. The resort was newly acquired when we stayed and was in the process of expanding to add a bar, restaurant. Breakfast was included by going next door to the spa but it was not clear what was actually included - we had to pay for some things. It is an easy walk to many good restaurants and stores. I would definitely go back.

the gorgeous location on the beach. Hemi (sp?), the guy running the beach operations was our favorite staff and made our trip extra special. He always went the extra mile to ensure a perfect day on the beach. Veronica in management was super nice to talk to and was always around making sure everything was excellent.

the price has increased pretty dramatically since it was Nabalam. The beach restaurant was under construction so we didn’t get to use that.

Lovely staff, great day beds & easy beach access at the quieter end of playa norte, delicious food, very spacious room/bathroom, great pool, only about a 2 block walk to the main area with restaurants & bars!
