Location was great. Very close to North beach and a coastal path to run down/ start a walk to the south. It was clean and basic and did the job for an extra nights stay on this fantastic island. Bedding, Towels and a soap were included. Our room was offset so kept cool and was quite quiet although still heard some noise. Staff were friendly to us. Nice areas to sit and watch the sunrise. There are swings and big chairs for those who like taking instagram photos.

The price was high for what it is (Just a bed in a room) but probably due to inflation of being on an island and last minute booking. After paying for the room plus £10 additional taxes and fees on top, we then had to pay an extra environmental fee upon arriving (this isn’t the hotels fault, it’s a government charge). Could do with a lick of paint and some TLC to revamp this place to the glory it could be.

Best location for hotels on the island. Overlooking the ocean but just a few blocks from downtown and North Beach. Room is huge and so clean. We did not see a single bug on site and for a tropical island this is a serious accomplishment. Staff is awesome. Breakfast (included) was so good everyday.

Wi fi was pretty terrible and went in and out. While that is not supposed to be a priority on vacation most of us have jobs that require at least a check in. That was difficult. Additionally, they could seriously improve the water pressure for the shower. Finally, it would be great if the bar/restaurant stayed open a bit later.

The staff won me over! From the managers to the pretty Bartender, she always remembers what you drink and has excellent recommendations. The room was large, a couch, a chair, 2 beds, which is more than I expected. The shower was large as well as the patio. Although the water in front of the hotel was rocky, a short walk around a small rocky path and you can reach any beach on Playa Norte. Bonus.... This hotel is right beside the Isla Mujeres sign. Just a two or 3 block walk to Centro with many restaurants and shops. There is a pool and hottub that wasn't crowded at all. The manager made sure I got to the ferry in time to catch my flight. I would definitely stay here again!

I loved the location of the hotel because I was within walking distance from everything except punta sur. I rented a golf cart on the last full day there and explored punta sur. The hotel is a bargain hotel so if you are looking for super luxury this isn't the hotel. The beds were super comfty. The room was super clean and the staff is great. As far as people previously commenting about theft I didn't leave any valuables in the room so I didn't have any issues but I also tipped the cleaning staff when I needed cleaning. You should tip the cleaning staff. If you work remotely you should request a room on the first floor as to be closer to the router. Streaming worked fine on my 2nd-floor room. There is hot water you just have to wait 5 mins to warm up. When booking ask which room comes with breakfast because on this site the cheaper booking is no breakfast included. There is a small no-swim beach next to the hotel and its great for morning coffee. The rock coves have little fishes to see. If you need silence when you sleep I don't think this is the hotel for you. The wave sounds are an amazing lullaby to those who can appreciate them. We had a great stay. They even held our luggage so we could explore on day one.

I didn't like that breakfast wasn't included. I did really lean towards booking them because I thought I'd be saving money on breakfast some days. It didn't state on booking.com that the room I booked was no breakfast included I was in shock when the waitress brought me a bill.

Perfect location. Beautiful ocean view, 11/10 best hotel location I’ve ever seen. Big nice towels. Multiple pools, great downstairs area with pools, tables, music etc.

Shared bathrooms only one toilet seat on 3 functional toilets. Internet didn’t work in the rooms(my room at least). Spotty internet only worked in lobby areas, not ideal for people who need to work on their laptops. Both fixable solutions if owner decides to invest a little more

It's a great ocean-side hotel, with a nice little pool, and friendly staff. Most rooms have great balconies and a sea view. Ours didn't but at the budget price, it was great as our room opened out onto a huge communal area with tables and chairs and effectively our own huge balcony! The vibe is very relaxed with a nice bar and restaurant at the ground floor, and very close to the town centre but also very quiet in itself! Just terrific! Shared toilets and showers were always clean.

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel, it was lovely. If I have one comment, it is that there could be a bit more furniture, storage space in the room, to make life easier!

Good location. Rooms very spacious although it did remind me of when I stayed in prison.

It seemed as if the decorator had a stroke midway through doing our room.

Location is right at the ocean (not a beach for swimming though) but this is close as well. You can hear the ocean at night. Great wifi and good beds.

Rooms are a bit blank, no furniture at all. The complaints concerning the shared bathrooms are pretty much right. They are maintained poorly, doors often don't close or are missing or the toilet seat isn't there. I am not sure why the hotel isn't able to fix this for such a long period of time. Little adjustments would give such higher points in the reviews and would change the overall experience to a really great one.

Staff were outstanding and went above and beyond. The room was huge. It was cute. It was also functional. The AC worked well. It was great to have two cute pools. The location was great and close to the beach, food, grocery store. Will definitely come back here again.

I wish there was a fridge in the room so we can keep our snack and juice etc there. But it was not a deal-breaker, I loved the hotel overall.

I upgraded to the king suite with private bathroom and glad I did. Spent a week in hotel. The room was nice clean and had plenty of space with modern amenities . The location was excellent. Staff was friendly. The smaller value room was bed and walls only.. it had no TV, it was a shared bath, very small do not recommend long stay in such a small room
