easyHotel Amsterdam City Centre South

The location and price of the property was great. We were located down the street from the Metro station which helped getting around the city. The rooms were clean and had aircon and the bed was very comfortable.

The bathroom had a bit of a smell coming from the drains but with the door closed it was fine. The bathroom shower door was also a little bit annoying as the shower mat kept getting caught underneath the door leading to the bathroom floor getting soaked anyways. The windows in the room also don’t open so if you wanted fresh air, you just have to use the aircon.

Location was A+: A block from the Metro, easy access to 52 and from there Centraal and Zuid. A few blocks to Pijp/Albert Cuyp. Walkable to everywhere. Being able to rent a bike from the hotel was super-convenient. The room was small but efficient. The bathroom/shower was small but efficient. The bed was very comfortable. At first I thought it was weird that the windows didn't open, but it was very hot outside, and I was extremely grateful for the climate-controlled air conditioning. It absolutely made the room. It provided a place to hide during the heat of the day if needed. (Of course museums can serve that purpose too.)

At first the room seemed small, but I got used to it. It would have been close quarters for a couple, and probably not viable for two non-couple friends. It lacked all charm, but that stopped bothering me when I turned on the AC and the room got cool within minutes!

the location was very good, we didn't use public transports even once! the room was ok, comfortable bed. no night noise around the place. the right place if you're not going to spend much time in hotel.

we did not like the fact that the bathroom door did not reach the ceiling and therefore one could feel uncomfortable with a second person in the room able to hear everything. They do not give you new towels each day unless you don't ask. If you're someone that's going to be a lot in hotel, maybe that's not the place for you, very small room, no table and very small bathroom

I very much appreciated the location which is within walking distance from the museums quarter, my main area of activities during my stay. The area is very lively and offers plenty of opportunities to eat out and to do shopping.

I would have expected the luggage storage service on the departure day to be included as part of the hotel's service package but this wasn't the case; this may prove essential if you go over a week-end or for a short stay. So please take into account that it's 4 € extra to get the token for the lockers where you can leave your stuff for up to 24hrs.

the property is very central and right by a metro and tram line - walking distance to Heineken experience and the Rijksmuseum and there are a ton of restaurants jn the area. You get what you pay for - all accommodation in Amsterdam is expensive in my opinion - so whilst pricey it is on the lower end in this city. It is clean and has everything you need. Two plugs are available and I had a nice street view. I asked for a double bed in a standard room and got just that. All in all, very happy. I was a solo traveller and it may have been a bit of a tight squeeze had my partner been with me but it would still have worked.

Windows in the rooms don’t open, so it can smell a but damp after showers. Shower was also leaking so sprayed water in different directions.

Clean and very cossy beds. And the location is legendary , 100m from the main M 52 metro that connects the center and the south of the city. Basically in 5m you are in the center.

There is nothing specific that i dislike , i mean, the whole hotel is meh....but who cares , as long as i have a bathroom and a comfy bed. This hotel is all about location and it is legendary!!! If i ever return to amsterdam i am going to stay at this hotel again ... Actually i dislike the fact that the netflix app was locked in my rooms smart tv.Lets say that was a let down ,but no big deal !

This hotel lived up to its name, it was easy and it did the job. We used it as a crash pad for an overnight layover in Amsterdam. It was conveniently located to the Tram and Metro in a safe part of town -- about a 10 min taxi ride to the city center and 15 mins to the airport via taxi. The room itself was to the point -- it was small but enough room for the essentials. Comfy bed. My favorite thing was the shower. The shower pressure was amazing! Nothing better than an incredible warm and strong shower after a cold and rainy night. :D

The bathroom was so tiny -- the shower / toilet and sink area was divided by a glass door that served as a door and a wall depending on where you positioned it -- you had to squeeze your way out of the bathroom and it was easy to soak the bathroom wet. But hey, at least the shower felt great. It sounded like there was a fan or radiator going when we went to sleep and we were able to hear the tram and people in the next room talking. It wasnt too bad but it was worth noting.

Never stayed at an Easyhotel so was a bit nervous, but ended up pleasantly surprised. This hotel is in a pretty suburban neighbourhood so it's pretty quiet, yet it's also incredibly convenient for travelling around the city, being just a block away from the fairly new blue Metro line which gets you to Centraal Station in just 4 stops/10 minutes, as well as having three tram lines passing by just a block away too. There's a surprising amount of space in the twin room, and the shower was excellent. There are loads of great eateries surrounding the hotel as well so don't worry about there not being an on-site place to eat!

The rooms weren't serviced at all during our stay, so we needed to get new towels from reception and more toilet rolls as they weren't replaced while we were out. Beds were functional and not that comfortable, but they were fine just for pure "somewhere to sleep" purposes - if you want a more luxurious stay though this will not be for you. Air conditioning kept resetting to a higher temperature every few hours which was frustrating during a heatwave!

Located across the road from the metro. Room was compact but with everything needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful

we had to extend our stay so needed to move rooms which wasn't a problem. Once we moved rooms we struggled getting wifi. We were told that it was a problem generally with the broadband company rather than room location, but I wasn't convinced. This would not put me off staying again, it was just a little inconvenient as we needed to book flights home.

Kelvin at the desk was a bright spot to our short stay. Very friendly and personable. The location is perfect for seeing some of the classic Amsterdam sites.

Upon arrival, we discovered that the elevator was broken and our room was on the fourth floor making it virtually impossible to drag two (2) heavy suitcases up the stairs. Admittedly, the elevator got fixed within a few hours and Kelvin personally delivered our luggage to our room.
