Blossoms City Hotel

The location was perfect, very near everywhere. Nearby is shop Dirk van den Broek and some restaurants, even vegan and vegetarian. In the same building is also rent a bike. Booking.com recommend to reach to hotel from airport via train and then metro or tram. There is another way to come directly from airport to hotel. I used what google recommended. There is bus 397 from airport to Museumplein. It takes 26 min. and 9 stops, then 10 min. walk to hotel. The ticket costs 6,5 euro per person. In the hotel is nice cat Cleopatra :)

The room was very small and walls very thin, rooms very close to each other. You could hear your neighbors. The carpet was in very dirty and bad condition.

The location of the Hotel was great. Close to most of the tourist spots. Close to tram and metro stops and various restaurants and shops. The bed was comfortable. I took a warm shower every day. The hotel has a vending machine and coffee to purchase at reception. Staff was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. There is a TV in the room.

Event hough the room was very small. It was really enough to sleep and shower. The view outside the window is a concrete wall. But again. Comfortable enough for leisure.

The staff: very helpful and nice. The 24 hours reception. The location: subway station and tram stations within 3 minutes walking distance, and direct connections to the Amsterdam Centraal. Several grocery shops in the neighborhood, and the Rijksmuseum is about 500 m. The elevator: I didn't mind the steep stairs, but if you have heavy luggage, the elevator is more than useful.

The wifi was sometimes way too slow, but most of the time it was okay. Some of the reviews mentioned the drafty windows, and it is true. But this is an old building in Amsterdam with old windows. It might be a problem in cold seasons.

the bed was super super comfy, we were lucky enough to be located at the back with a window that opened on to the court yard - easily accessible tram & metro located within 2-3 minute walk. they also allow you to keep your luggage there for the day which is really handy!

only complaint was it didn’t have a full length mirror - but not a necessity.

the frontdesk staff (Inga) is very friendly and helpful, there is a microwave in the lobby for heating up food and there is also a cute cat(for me, that's a big plus). about 20 minute walk to the city center, or take the tram(line 24) which is cheap and faster. plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. a small store is located behind the heineken brewery if you need to buy stuff. for the price that this hotel is charging, you can't get better, it's a steal.

the noise coming from the busy street but it's not really a problem. otherwise, a great place to stay for a few days when visiting the city

Very high speed internet, that's was very important for my job. Speed was about 200 mbps download and about 30 mbps upload. And that's on Wifi.

The mattress was not comfortable for me. After second night my back start feel it. But it's personal opinion. I had a room on 4-th floor and there is no elevator.

The hotel is in an excellent location, it's a bit jaded looking (carpets etc.), and there was an issue with the plumbing in the room where we were; the shower didn't drain well. The staff were great - we really couldn't fault them for anything. And the cat is lovely! :)

Good location, walking distance from tourist attractions, restaurants and entertainment. Rooms are clean and basic but had everything we needed. Lifts and luggage storing facilities was an added bonus.

Rooms are a bit small and road outside is noisy

The location was amazing, very close to Heineken with trams and the Metro just steps away. Even though it was super centrally located the room was extremely quiet as it faced an internal courtyard (room 105). I also appreciated that they had a locked storage room for luggage so you could leave your things before and after check out.
