Great choice if you're just looking for somewhere to sleep during your stay in Amsterdam. It's close to the Heineken Experience, metro and bus stations and only a short walk from Museumplein. The hotel asks for a € 50 caution deposit in cash when checking in, so be prepared for this.
Although the hotel provides all the essencial items for your stay, the rooms aren't very confortable and also not so clean. The acoustic isolation is really bad, you can hear doors being opened and closed and people talking in the corridors (and even other rooms) all the time, so if you have a light sleep you'll probably end up waking up a few times during the night.

Central without being right in the jungle of Amsterdam. Nice staff. Room nicer than expected
I was on the 4th floor with a 30kg suitcase and there is no elevator - Probably the worst moment in my 3 month holiday. The room is nice but literally enough to sleep and shower in, I couldn’t even open my suitcase in the room it was so tiny.

No lift, tiny rooms but I didn't pay much,alot of amsterdam has tiny rooms,if you want upper class this isn't for you it need alot of work in the stairways etc..the sister hotel just doors away is much better value.

The room was very tiny, like I expected, but very comfy. The window was on the inner staircase of the building, so you could hear people getting to their rooms, but it wasn't a problem at all. The bathroom was very clean with a very nice shower. We also liked the location, very close to Rilks and van Gogh-museums and about a 20 minute walk to all the other town main attractions

The location is the point plus. The staff is also so kind and friendly. The room itself is okay and pretty much comfortable even with no view. I had good rest and enjoy my stay.
