The room was lovely in a Danish modern kind of way -- great view of Amsterdam at a rooftop level. Lots of excellent restaurants just across the nearby canal bridge (a short 10-minute walk). Short walk to major museums, and right on a canal.
Minor notes -- Fixtures in the generous sink-top area were beginning to show their age. There was some wear showing in the bottom of the bathroom mirror and hairline cracks around the sink drain. Had to step over the tub sill to get into the shower. Still had a cutout for a phone in the cabinetry, with no phone. I don't believe there was an evening restaurant in the hotel (we didn't see any), but there was a bar. Had to hike bags up the entrance steps to get to the front desk.

Size of superior room and view. Breakfast fine . Nice garden space to sit outside. Staff in cafe very pleasant as was gardener . Easy walk to rijksmuseum . Reception called taxis and gave us early check in. Efficient.
Bathroom small and dated for 4 star room at 450 euros per night. Would appreciate daily mineral water in bedrooms. One tiny bottle on day one only. Its a bit no frills for a longer stay or nice holiday. Basic teabags , no soap, big bottle fixed gel only, and very old worn bathrobes .

The room size was wonderful for Amsterdam! It was great to have space to sit by the window and watch boats and cyclists going by in the evenings. The bed was comfy, and the room incredibly clean, albeit a little dated. The ice maker in the hall is something all hotels should have! The location is well connected to public transport with easy reach of the very middle of Amsterdam. The restaurants around were a little classier being a little away from the main tourist traps. The 397 bus from the airport had us to the hotel within half an hour, There was a great food market and restaurants within a few minutes walk.
The air-conditioning didn't pump out any particularly cold air but there was a nice breeze through the window. It wasn't really hot when we stayed but throughout the evening, the room got a little stuffy without the window open. Space to keep your own drinks in the fridge would be welcomed.

I've stayed in Amsterdam probably dozens of times, and it's always been tiny accomodations. This room was absolutely huge, had great AC, and a really good panoramic city view. The staff were really great, the room was exceptionally clean. I didn't sant to leave, and seriously considered staying another night.
Not a complaint at all, and the price was more than reasonable, but the rental bicycles were kind of beat up. Had a blast cycling around the city, but it was hard to keep up with even old ladies at times, and the brakes were.. iffy. Renting the bike was top-notch service, though, and the gentleman who rented it to me went out of his way to personalize the adjustments for me.

The room was a very good size and had a good view. The bed was also a good size. I liked having an online portal where I could order room service and other stuff. Also we didn’t hear anyone in the rooms next to us so good soundproofing.
The bed mattress was a bit too firm. The decor of the room is a bit dated and the bathroom was also quite dated. Also the online checkout didn’t work.

The room was very spacious and came complete with a kettle, hairdryer and fridge. The room had chairs and a table as well as twin beds. The view to the canal was excellent. It was light and airy with a tiny balcony. The service was excellent and the staff very helpful. It was very well located near to the Rijksmuseum which we visited for the Vermeer exhibition.
The room was a little tired and could do with redecorating. The breakfast was adequate but the replenishment of empty containers rather slow and the choice of hot food disappointing especially as the notice on the table said it would be cooked to order but it wasn't!

Except as noted below the room was fine and the location could not have been better for the various Amsterdam museums. The breakfast was very good as long as you got there before the hordes of tour groups descended on the food. If you were late, you could not get a clean plate (without waiting) or a place to sit in the food area. Otherwise, the food selection and preparation was very good.
I know in our "eco oriented environment" we are trying to do things to reduce our carbon footprints, but the hotel does need to do something to improve the lighting in the room. One poorly placed light above the bed is not adequate for two people to read at night.

The staff was amazing and we enjoyed our conversations with all of them. Adam and Vincent were top notch!! The breakfast did NOT disappoint!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
We did not have any technical complaints. A small suggestion would be to make sure that all of the desk staff knows where the PostNL office is and how to send souvenirs back home. Vincent knew! But we asked some of the other desk staff previous to him and they could not give concrete answers. But this by no means created a bad experience!

Great location for the museums (we went to Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum). Breakfast was plentiful and we had freshly cooked poached eggs the second day which was good. The bedrooms were very big in comparison to other places I have stayed in Amsterdam.
I had specifically booked this hotel as it was one of the only ones in the area that offered twin beds. Upon arrival we were told that this was only a “preference” and there were no twins available. The only option was a blanket to separate the bed which was provided. This was disappointing.

The Hotel is very beautyful and exactly like the photos ! The position of the Hotel was also good because there was Metro, Train and Buses in near! The Room was beautyful and we had a perfect view, we even could watch the sunrise :3
The only thing that was not "that" for me was the breakfast, is smelled very different then the food should i think.. like the Pancakes smelled like banana, same issues with other foods 🤔 i wonder why is this like that .. maby write how what is inside food and what kind of flavor it has 🤔 Maby you should also to make sure the windows are good because it was a lil loose ( the closing itself/ screws)🤔
