The location was very good - there is a tram line nearby with good access to the centre and to the south. Museumplein etc within walking distance and a handy selection of shops The apartment itself was well arranged, with typical amenities in the kitchenette. The furniture, linens, etc were of a good quality. Overall, the apartment was a good place to relax and unwind and act as a good base for our day.

There were some minor defects, such as a leaky tap. Temperature was hard to get control of, though we'd managed this by the end of the visit. We visited as a family with a friend joining us. The layout of one double room and a sofa bed in the living room was fine, and we had taken a blowup mattress for our son. But there wasn't a lot of space in the double room around the bed (we just about squeezed the mattress in awkwardly at the foot of the bed). This was not a major issue, but just noting it for other families in similar circumstances

This is a wonderful place for a family to stay. It has an amazing view of the canal where you will see hundreds of boats per day. The neighborhood is peaceful, calm, quiet, and not touristy at all. Very close to the metro and tram stops (1 block away/across the street). It is located very close to many of the top attractions in Amsterdam, including Museumplein, Albert Cuyp Market, Artis, Centrum, 9 Stratjes, etc (either walking distance or public transport). The apartment is updated, roomy, convenient, air conditioned, smart tv. Our family of four really felt at home here. When we weren't out and about enjoying the city, we were at home watching the city from the window. If you're looking for a party, I don't think this is the place for you, but if you have a family and want to immerse yourself in the city, and be conveniently located in a beautiful apartment, this is the place for you. Our flight got in early and management was very accommodating in letting us store our bags until check in. In fact, management was extremely accommodating in many ways, supplying free coffee and drinks, cleaning the apartment after the third day, managing the quiet hours in the building, providing recommendations and delightful candor. We would stay here again 100% without question. We LOVED Prinsenhuis and will be back. This property was a highlight of our stay. Delightful. Thank you Edwin!!!

Nothing could have been better, it was perfect. There is nothing bad to say, we loved every second of our stay. If you have mobility issues, there are steep stairs and no elevator, but that is not a negative, that is normal for every house in Amsterdam; I am only mentioning it for awareness.

Great location and exactly what we wanted for our trip. Loved the spacious living room and balcony in Coral. Nice touch having the additional fans which was needed given the heat. Everything you’d need was provided including complimentary drinks in the fridge when we arrived. Location was perfect, far out enough to be away from central and for it to feel quiet but close enough to be 5-10min walk to everything. Metro and tram station right outside. Handbook providing things like bike rentals was super handy for things you might not have already planned. Would 100% come again and enjoyed meeting Edwin.

We couldn’t find additional pillows for the sofa beds and that would probably be worth providing. Didn’t effect us at all but only thing I can think of.

A nice spacious apartment with all modern amenities and great facilities. We loved the heated towel rail. A supermarket just around the corner, a pub on the otherside of the canal, and plenty of restaurants within 1km. On the ground floor meant no steps, with a view from the front window of the canal. A nice, quiet apartment. Highly recommended.

Not very much to dislike.

Very clean apartment, helpful staff that we easily contacted if you had any questions. Quiet area which was great for the end of the day unwinding and also in the mornings. It was only 15-20 minute walk to the heart of Amsterdam which was great, Metro station and a tram that goes into the centre is on your doorstep.

Not much, just a neighbour that was giving out to one of us staying there for smoking on the balcony which had an ashtray on it, which you would assume is where you are meant to smoke. Told them to smoke outside because it was smelling her house up.

Location couldn't be better. Walking distance from most of the tourist attractions (museums, parks, Red light District, etc..), also a variety of supermarkets, restaurants, and bakeries just around the corner. We stayed in the Coral Apartment, and the view from our front window to the canal was perfect.

The mattress wasn't comfortable, but it was OK for a two night stay. Didn't like the decoration, but I already knew this from the photos.

Great as a base for exploring Amsterdam. Perfectly suited our needs as a 4, with a separate room for the couple in our group. Great outlook onto the canal. Check-in and check-out was easy and the complimentary beer and wine was a nice touch. The private veranda was a plus.

Some awareness (probably from booking.com as opposed to the property owner) about the city tax charge in advance would have been appreciated (we needed to pay around 25 euros extra when we arrived). The inability to open the front windows was annoying (a previous guest had lost the key and the owner promised a replacement is on the way) as we couldn't as easily regulate the temperature (although the fan system was good) and enjoy the natural breeze.

it was very spacious. it wasn’t the colour on pictures. It was a green and purple, not my fav, but who cares it was only one flight up the stairs and really lovely layout. and got plenty of sun

just to note if you check in and no one is there you need to arrange payment and passport check. I thought payment would go through booking.com. so we had to arrange a meetup to pay which worked out in end but just to note this extra logistical step

Fantastic location - just by the canal and accessible by metro. Great neighborhood and surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops. Although unit was small, we were satisfied with the amenities available. It was fine for our family of 4. The sofa bed was really easy to manage and comfortable. Check-in was a breeze, host was really helpful.

It was a little expensive, could be due to peak period. But it was worth it still.

This was my 6th time to Amsterdam, and by far the best accommodation experience. Check in was so simple. Everyone we spoke to was lovely. The apartment itself was great. Great little balcony overlooking gardens, with lots of trees and plants, an great little quiet oasis in the middle of the city. The apartment was clean, comfortable. Good, big TV. Even a few free drinks in the fridge! The location was fantastic too. Easy to walk everywhere, about a 5 minute walk to the nightlife in Leidesplein, about a 15 minute walk from the train station. This is definitely where I will be staying from now on.

Nothing at all. Not one single complaint or criticism.
