Quest Carlaw Park Serviced Apartments

No space for a car at the hotel door to drop off my luggage. Terrible misunderstanding concerning the availability of parking. „Parking available” in the area means here you have to pay for it, parking lots are „available” but it is not what you expected. The reception desk is open till 7 pm - information is different in their Booking.com presentation. You can pick an envelope with your entrance card, but the guy speaking to you on-line is rude. When I asked about space to park my car, I heard only this repeated twice: „read the signs”. It is not What you expected two hours after your first arrival to New Zealand after two days in flight from Europe.

In a university campus area of Parnell. It was well located for walking into downtown and Parnell. Lovely coffee shop under the building, great coffee and friendly staff. The receptionist at Carlaw Park was delightful, she really helped make our stay

It was noisy overnight, we were supplied with ear plugs! Basic kitchen equipment. Net curtain at the window wouldn’t stay shut which meant the local offices etc had a good view directly to our bed in a morning!

Organized and comfortable Apartment Hotel. The wall between next door is not soundproof. The vicinity is quiet but a little bit far from the eatery by walking. If arriving late night no food eatery open at all nearby. If tending to go out by walking it can't guarantee if some are still open. The WYVERN DAIRY is until 9p only.

We paid for the Parking as a Apartment HOTEL guest. Everytime we go out and park in the Hotel we are paying NZ$12.00 (Twelve Dollars). Otherwise, but too late for us to know; to pay NZ$25 per day. Apart from that everything went well.

Excellent location with easy access to the University (site of my conference), Parnell, Domain, and the City. Excellent food nearby at Di Vino Bistro (tell Anna, it is recommended highly by the Peters).

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. Friendly staff went out of their way to induct us to convenient parking and after hours building access, clean rooms, good room facilities, comfortable King bed, and excellent daily service.

It On the way checking out I saw the note in the lift that we had access to a gym/spa/pool - i would have definitely appreciated knowing this on the check in letter and info on TV or something on the website or booking . com that told me this as my conference was very stressful and I'd have loved to have worked out.

The space was a good size, very clean room and nice big window for fresh air and sun. Had mostly everything required for a staycation and the aircon and workers all around were great! Bed was big and comfy too.

Every night was noisy, helicopters, trucks, too close to motorway. Last morning there was woken up at 7am by too much noise on the road and people outside. Didn’t have enough cleaning products and cutlery/dishes in kitchen. Pillows are too flat.

The apartment was very cosy and also was equipped with everything you need. It was great that we were able to do our washing before our flight and we even used the kitchen for breakfast and having snacks. The location is great for visiting the CBD of Auckland. You can either take the bus or easily walk within 20 minutes.

The only thing we did t like that much was that the even windows were closed , you could hear quite a lot of noise from the streets and people walking outside. (It was on a weekend tho)

My friends and I stayed for the weekend because we were in Auckland for a concert. We arrived at the property and were thoroughly impressed by the welcoming and warm nature of reception. They allowed us to drop our bags and car off earlier than check in, which helped a lot considering we had all travelled from different cities. The apartments were nice and clean and had many amenities available to help us have a more than comfortable stay. The house keeping staff were also friendly

We were under the impression that the pool/sauna were available at the property, but they were up the road. By the time we figured this out, reception was closed so we could not ask for an access key unfortunately. Not too much of a dampener on our stay

Comfortable beds & great location. Nice & clean. Good options on TV. The parking options are fantastic. The staff were great. Rooms were very easy to access so good for all people.

I feel it should be better explained that there is NOT a leisure pool, there is a gym 10 mins walk away that you can access and swim lengths in if you like. The bathroom is very compact which I struggled with as the shower door touches toilet when open.

Helpful and friendly staff! Room had all necessary extras for dishwasher, washing machine etc. Rooms well appointed. Plenty of storage if staying longer term. Access to NextGenClub excellant. Simple tv set up, including casting. If purpose of trip is centered on Spark Arena, a great location. $10 Uber to Viaduct.

MINOR, might be good for others to know so can request in advance. Continental breakfast has to be ordered by 2pm. We didn't arrive until after 3pm. Second bedroom, requested seperation of beds. Kids have said they would have liked an extra warm blanket in that room as only one available.
