Nesuto Stadium

Great location, modern building, clean, easy to find.

Booking.com stated that parking was included in room price however when I arrived at reception I was told that it wasnt and that parking was an additional $30 overnight. It takes the pleasure out of a special stay. I was annoyed, but what can you do when you are in the CBD with a car that needs to be parked somewhere? Its not good enough.

No fan in the bathroom, the shower head is cracked. Others is fine.

Loved the location and the size of our room and bathroom. It was huge which gave us heaps of space to open all our bags up and sort what we needed. The pressure in the shower was great too. Staff were great. Happy to help with anything and always saying hello with a smile. For the price we paid for 5 nights in central auckland during the peak time we were very happy. It was cheaper than anywhere else close.

Only thing was the 1st day our room wasnt serviced, then the second we were asked to have our room serviced before 9am. Which is fine but we werent ready and out by 9. We wanted a sleep in and the house keeper woke us up. So asked to have it serviced in an hr, giving us enough time to shower and get out and the staff were very accommodating.

The location was excellent and the Omega Car Rental facility where we picked up our rental vehicle for our trip was right across the street. The city center was only a couple of blocks walk and the Woolworth's grocery store was just across the street to the Nesuto. Parking at Nesuto was very easy and the price was reasonable. The staff at Nesuto were fantastic from the front desk to the room attendants. Great team of folks there! We rented the 3 bedroom family suite and it was perfect for our needs.

Although the kitchen was fairly well stocked, it could have had a few more utensils as we were doing dishes in the dishwasher quite a bit due to our 4 person group.

The staff were lovely, the check in process was effortless. The room was so clean and smelt so nice. I wish i knew what cleaner or room spray you used cause it was amazing. Spacious room and bathroom and decent air con thankfully! Super close to spark arena. Walking distance to Queen street but far enough away to not have all the noise. I have stayed here multiple times and will definitely be back!

Only thing was that we had asked prior to our stay for the bed to be made into two singles as opposed to one king bed and it hadn't been done. Not enough of an issue to complain about, was just awkward for me and my friend for the first night lol

That is was so central to everything. I like that the carpark was just at the back of the building, so it was easy to get to. The check in process was easy and quick.

I think the curtains in the room need to be from ceiling to floor and covering the whole window. Street light was still coming into the room and it was hard to fall asleep. I like the room to be completely dark, but that's just me Having to visit reception to get card for carpark. If a customer pays for parking then they should get a card or PIN to the carpark building for the duration of the time that they have paid for.

We chose a room with a balcony and made good use of it. The bed was comfortable and the water in the bathroom was hot. The kettle was a boon and green and black tea bags, coffee powder and milk were all provided. The location was excellent as it is within easy walking distance of many of the tourist attractions.

The extractor fan in the bathroom was not working and if someone used the cold water tap at the bathroom sink while someone else was showering it caused the person in the shower to be showered with scalding hot water. Both are easy fixes.

Booked the place last minute for my in-law as he needed a place to stay for the night after travelling back to NZ from overseas. On check in, the man at the reception helped us get a nice quiet room for him with some seaview which we really appreciated. The room itself was quite spacious and clean and has everything you need for a night's stay. My in-law loved it and he said he had a good rest after a long flight. Location-wise, it's very Central and close to Britomart and Countdown is a couple minutes away which was great. All in all a great stay and experience. Highly recommend!

Nothing - something to note was that the room didn't have microwave but they offered for my in-law to just bring his food down at reception and one of the staff heated it in the staff quarters so that was really helpful. Thank you.

The hotel was very comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, the stay was very pleasant, quiet / clean rooms tastefully decorated. Great value for money, good location. Everything was clean and tidy, good facilities, I think the value for money was good as the room came with a mini fridge and balcony. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and this one is a good example of what a hotel should be; I would certainly stay here again!

If I was to ‘nit pick’ I would have liked the shower pressure to be better, but those are minor things. The wifi password didn’t work initially, but the lovely staff gave me a generic code and the wifi worked afterwards. I booked another night and the cleaning staff were unaware, so perhaps there could be some communication to them to let them know when guests are staying for longer :)

We loved our stay at Nesuto Stadium. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The property was close to Spark Arena and the city. The room was modern and tidy with a balcony. At night it was nice and quiet and we didn’t notice any traffic noise. We booked a room that included breakfast, which was delicious every day we were there. When we checked out, the staff were very accommodating and we were able to leave our bags to be looked after until later that day.

We went to the restaurant for dinner one of the nights during our stay, but for the cost, it didn’t meet expectations.
