Auckland Harbour Suites

The location is in the heart/CND area of Auckland.

We were watching netflix at 12am with complete silence but the sound from the TV itself but we got a knock from the security saying our room was loud. When I asked if there was a complaint he said no but we were loud when the TV itself was just in 15. So my husband went out and even heard people talking in their normal voices and everyone can hear the sound because the wall was just made up of jobjab wall.

We had a wonderful experience, our room was a great size for our family of 4 (2 bedroom apartment), the kitchen had everything we needed to cook there, great view of the water and city from our balcony. Was also in a great location, easily able to walk to the wharf, city centre and plenty of restaurants and food stores close by. Staff were very friendly and was also great that there was a car park on site to keep the rental car secure during our stay.

Only thing I would say is if you need a car spot, I definitely suggest messaging the property in advanced to request one. There was someone who arrived the same time as us and I overheard them ask if there was any onsite parking (they hadn’t pre-booked) and there wasn’t any available until the next day. I was able to contact the property via booking.com a few weeks prior to my stay to request a spot with no issues and it was ready for us to use as soon as we arrived.

We paid for a sea view and it was well worth it. The moving view was great to watch at the end of the day over a drink. Watching ships, launches and yachts with a drink in hand is good for the soul. The dishwasher and washing machine were great touches and they also came with cleansers. The kitchen was a good size and the fridge/freezer was perfect for three people for four nights. The air conditioner cooled the two bedroom unit down quickly, and the windows and sliding doors allowed us to cool it naturally too. The balcony was a great place to enjoy the view. The unit was always well-stocked with cleaners and towels, etc. The staff at reception were excellent. They were really friendly and we had several queries which they responded to immediately. Thank you very much for outstanding service. The location was excellent. Restaurants, cafes and bars, the downtown ferry service, buses and the Viaduct were all from 1-8min walk away. We were totally satisfied with our choice and would stay there again.

We stayed four nights and found storage/hanging was limited. Shelves and hooks in the bedrooms were needed to spread items on. Hooks in the bathroom for towels, etc for three people would also have been appreciated. We thought we might use the pool but it didn't look appealing from our room. It was often in shade and lacked furniture to lounge about in.

There is a mevo carshare park by the front door. It is the building beside Giapo - a famous Gelato Cafe. We were on floor 26 and had great view out over docks and East side of city. Outdoor pool was clean and good length.

Cooling is by a fan/unit in the lounge. Noisy to run it. You're in downtown of bustling city so will get city noise at night and weekends - don't expect silence. The balconies are freaky. They are just wide enough to stand on. Access is by sliding glass door. If you have small kids do not let them out there or take toys out as there is a small gap at bottom of the barrier.

Great location to City and spark arena and everything in between. 👌All in all for us it was exactly as described and pictured in the ad 👌Will stay again

Just the carparking situation. You.gotta be in quick as they are limited. We booked in advance so we're lucky. Seems expensive at first at $45 a night but then you try find a park anywhere in Auckland CBD. YOU CANT so money well spent.

Great location. We were on one of the top floors, so we had amazing views and balconies on every room , which was fantastic. The apartment was a good size. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Great location right in the heart of the city. The beds were comfortable.

The bathtub was quite old and a bit grubby looking (you would not want to take a bath in it) No full length mirror, and the lighting in the bathroom was very dim. Every time we had a shower, the water went all over the floor because of the shower door design. We used a lot of towels for this reason. However, there was lots of cabinet space.

I liked that it was clean, I liked the View I liked that you could go onto the balcony I liked that we had quiet neighbours

We thought we payed for the gym and pool but our card wouldn’t let us in. Not much information was given about parking; wasn’t sure if there was public parking at the building. Didn’t like that the toilet didn’t flush and the bed was two pushed together

Beds were super big with nice comfortable pillows and bedding, and the bed was firm for my partner but not too hard for.me, our granddaughter loved her double bed, and it was a great treat for her. Pictures online made the lounge look smaller then it ended up being so that it was nice to see a bigger room to.relax in (i visualized a tiny tiny home apartment). Lots of plug-in sockets everywhere, fridge, toaster, microwave, dishwasher all good sized as was the comp coffee/tea/sugar/milk. Staff super friendly and helpful, busy place but liked it was.popular as it showed it was a good place to stay, managed to book a carpark the whole time we were there which took away the hassle of double parking to unpack then moving the car to another parking facility (which was only a short walk)

Would suggest some drawers perhaps even in the waldrobes as lived in our suitcases while there as only had hangers. Also, if i hadn't read previous reviews, i would never have pre-plugged in the oil heater to take the chill out of the room as we slept with the curtains open to soak in the night view and sunrise.(which was worth it) so heater a def must if curtains not shut in main bedroom. The rest of the place kept warm. The bathroom was a hassle as every shower sprayed water everywhere, so wiping down floors/walls was needed, so we went through towles and floor mates quickly, but staff were quick to give us more towels when requested, also could do with more mirrors in apartment or better makeup lighting in the bathroom which was quite dim.

Loved the views from level 31. Location suited what we were in Auckland for. One decent bedroom out of two. I slept on rollaway it was comfortable linen nice. Carpark secure 45.00 a night you'd expect it to be.

The two bedroom is to small for 5 adults to stay in. The rollaway bed was basically set up in the kitchen area no space anywhere else. Cutley plates cups glasses only 4 settings but 5 people booked in. A broom, brush and shovel a mop would be helpful. One of the bedrooms could barely fit the bed in ir. No wardrobe or any room for suitcases or luggage. Balconys was less than 60cms wide. For nearly 400.00 a night I wouldn't book again. Hallway so narrow s The pictures advertising Auckland Harbour suites are deceiving. Shame we were all looking forward to stay somewhere fast

We liked the central location to the Auckland CBD and train, bus and ferry terminals all within easy walking distance. It was great to be able to use the AT Hop free travel card for NZ pensioners to get to places of interest. The veiw of the Harbour plus the sky tower was great from our 34th floor. Especially pretty at night. We enjoyed having a full kitchen and fridge , freezer and oven, dishwasher, microwave. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Great to have laundry facilities in our room also. The staff at reception were very helpful.
