InterContinental Lisbon, an IHG Hotel

The room was very comfortable, clean and good size. Had everything we needed in the bathroom and good shower. The desk was very useful as had to work on laptop. Helpful staff and valet parking.

The breakfast was a little disappointing as some items such as the eggs were not hot. On the third morning I ordered the eggs Benedict but that was served warm not hot and also the tea was not hot. However the service was good. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill so walking was a little difficult but we used Uber to return.

very clean, nice and comfortable rooms. we stayed in a family room and it was very spacious and perfect for a family of 4. one room had a huge double bed while the connecting room had two singles. Both rooms where a good size with a little space between where the adjoining doors meet

nothing really, at breakfast it seemed like the hotel had more professionals dining than holiday makers so lots of men in suits. might be the time of year

Loved: spacious room, location near metros and buses and a pretty park (and an El Corte Ingles for finding necessary items when the airline lost your luggage!) The staff upgraded us to a room with a view for the last few nights of our stay.

The restaurant was expensive compared to other nearby restaurants but that's to be expected in a more expensive hotel like the Intercontinental so not really a problem. We stay here for the room not the restaurant.

The location is good in nice neighborhood. Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is rated 5 stars however does not have a swimming pool. The hair dryer was not working we plugged it outside the bathroom they said they were going to change it but they did not change it. Room size is OK however room looks outdated for a 5-star hotel. They do not have a terrace outside.

Located at the west side of Eduardo VII Park and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, yet within a 10-15 minutes walk from Avenida da Liberdade, one of the main streets of Lisbon. There one can walk into the heart of the city and ride the Yellow Tram to take you up and down into Chiado and other parts of the city.

The mattress was not comfortable.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Wonderful food and comfortable beds.

Christmas buffet lunch - Catering for too many. Wish I had just eaten in the restaurant in the evening instead. Very expensive. Salads were beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Main courses and the desserts were very poor in comparison. It was a shame! However, I really enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental a part from that.

First of all, you feel the quality when you enter the hotel. I have read some reviews before booking with this hotel and I was a bit disappointed and felt a bit of a risk. When we arrived there we knew we made a great choice. Everything is carefully arranged and well maintained. The restaurant Akla is one of a kind, actually one of the best in Lisbon (among of what we visited). The food is tasty and nicely presented by the excellent staff. The NYE Dinner was just great and the food was tasty and nicely presented. Overall, a 5-star experience!!!

I noticed, during one morning, just once, a "not so nice" approach from one of the staff members. Actually, she was on the phone when we arrived for breakfast (not a customer oriented attitude) and when she finished, she came to one of the guests to insistently ask if the breakfast was included or not in the booking, while the guest started to have breakfast. It was embarrassing and awkward.

The concierge was helpful

Housekeeping stuff is annoying. They knock on the door several times while we are in the room asking for housekeeping or if we have items for laundry. However, when we put clean the room tag and leave the room for more than two hours, no one comes to clean the room. This happened every day during our stay except the the check out day

Great location, quite close to the center, but easy to reach by car from the airport. Easy walking and park available outside. Very big room, clean, with very comfortable beds. Superb continental breakfast.

Air conditioning too cold in open spaces (breakfast too). Taxis are not so easy to stop outside the hotel at night.

very nice location, few minutes walk from station and great service. lovely staff too and they let me stay in my room few more hours til my flight. would stay here next time i’m in Lisbon.
