Hotel Miraparque

The perfect hotel in the perfect location. As Lisbon is a place you will rely on public transportation, finding one that is reasonably priced next to a main metro station was a must. Also, just enough far away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of town. Check-in was easy and the room was very spacious (the one with a park view) when compared to the standard double rooms that some friends stayed which were quite small. The only downside is that the Bar was closed during our stay. Overall a very nice stay and would definitely be back.

Location, price and free upgrade upon arrival. Breakfast is good and fresh. Very clean rooms and at walking distance from few bars around Marques do Pombal and 20 minutes away from low town.

Night staff should step in when late guests come back from town and lack any respect for others who are a sleep. I mean 3.30 AM, not 11 pm. Was disturbed for a good hour at least, with banging doors and loud talking. Impossible to have missed that kind of noise from reception

The staff at the reception was very welcoming and polite and the room was well cleaned (great that there was parquet on the floor, and not carpet). The bathroom is also very spacious. The location of the hotel is great because it's next to the Pombal square, and there is a metro station around the corner, plus there are some good restaurants close by. Ok breakfast.

Not enough information on parking provided before arrival (I found myself that there is a Telpark parking at the bottom of the street and that if you book your parking in advance you save money - it would be great if the hotel provided this information beforehand, also because parking on the street in front of the hotel is only for residents). The selection of food for breakfast could be a bit more appealing. The sofabed was a bit dated, i.e. the faux leather was extremely worn.

Overall this hotel was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. Nice location with many restaurants nearby and a park across the street. Air conditioning was excellent. Looks like an older hotel that has been renovated. Nice gym on the top floor.

Our only complaint was construction at an adjacent building that reverberated through the hotel on our first day. The noise stopped at 5 pm. No construction noise on our second day. The TV had only one English language station, out of France.

We liked everything about our stay at this hotel it's opposite the park and we had a room with a view which was such a delight. Plus it was very close to the metro. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were kind and helpful and I really couldn't fault it. It was great value for money and I would definitely recommend staying here.

Given that we were in an area where a lot of hotels were, we found it very difficult to find somewhere to eat during the evenings near the hotel that is. We were so desperate on our first night that we ended up going into Burger King which is very extreme for us, but we were really hungry, not what I expected on my first evening in Lisbon. Being unfamiliar with the city, we were too tired in the evening to venture back into town to wander around the streets. Looking for somewhere to eat. Maybe a little map with some suggestions would be good in the rooms?

The staff were helpful, friendly and appeared to be multilingual. We had a cancelled train due to strikes and we were able to book a last minute night at the hotel, they helped check the following days trains for us and arrived taxi transfer for me and my young family. There is lift access to rooms which is great for Lisbon and the breakfast was a nice inclusion

The location is a little isolated and about a 5 minutes walk to some more central areas. Also the hotel has a number of stairs upon entry which are not ideal for prams and wheelchairs but otherwise not a problem

Great check-in experience with professional and courteous staff. The location, on a quiet road opposite a beautiful park, was perfect with the Parque underground station a 2 minute walk from the front door of the hotel. Spacious room with a view over the park which meant that we had three nights of peace and quiet.

The coffee at breakfast was, as other reviewers have pointed out, really rather unpleasant. The remainder of the breakfast was fine- nothing outstanding but fair value.

- great localization, just next to beautiful park with spectacular view, quite close to the city center by walk - I liked the room with 2 tiny balcons, so cute - and the bed was comfy too! - quite nice variety of things to eat for breakfast, great coffee - nice staff - bathtub - very clean - it was rather quiet (double door does the work)

- the curtains were a little stained - the A/C was working so-so - the faucet in the bathroom should be larger (water was splashing all over)

Being slightly north ( about 2.5 K) to the hustle and bustle old town if you want to consider walking only 2. the room looks slightly older and needs some remodelling especially the knobs of the shower/bathtub. They were incredibly ridiculous & confusing how to switch between the rain shower, the shower handle, and the bathtub.

Location of the hotel is approximately 15 minutes walk to the city centre and about 200m away from the bus stop. The double room overlooking the Parque was spacious for a solo traveler. The hotel is based in a quiet neighbourhood, which I absolutely loved. The breakfast was a great touch since there aren't too many options around the hotel.

When you book via booking.com payment on your credit card goes through, it is however reversed and full payment has to be made at the end of your stay. This is not made clear when you book. The room was carpeted and it can get very hot during the day. There isn't much air circulation in the bathroom
