The staff at the reception desk was exceptional. From the moment we walked in, they greeted us with warmth and kindness. They went above and beyond to make our stay special - even taking time to write up a list of things to do that we had expressed an interest in. The breakfast was something we looked forward to every morning. Several courses of deliciousness to choose from. What made it even better were the servers. They were attentive and so sweet. One of the girls was genuinely excited for us to try her freshly-made juice blend. Our room was comfy and nicely done. There were so many nice touches and attention to detail (such as a handwritten welcome note and an embroidered floor mat by the bed). The bar decor and colors are very sharp and the ode to vintage James Bond was fun. We recommend trying the Vesper martini. The whole hotel feel is small and personal, yet luxurious. We didn't want to leave!

very stylish hotel in excellent location on quiet , pretty and tree covered square. Great access to public transport, including Metro. Staff very friendly, yet also professional and obtrusive. Lovely breakfast menu, all prepared freshly to order.

Only observation was that the lighting in room was a little too focused on being sophisticated and understated, so was bordering on the gloomy. I was there in March, so probably be much appreciated in the height of intense Summer light. Also be careful in bathrooms, as they are predominantly quartz/marble, so floor can become very slippy if wet and you happen to step off the shower mat.

The hotel is an absolute 5 star experience - best boutique hotel in Lisbon for sure. We had an amazing stay in a wonderful environment. The owner Pedro is a true gem and you can feel and see the love and dedication that went into building this gorgeous place, the staff is well selected and EVERYBODY is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the attic suite: the design and comfort are outstanding. The bed is very comfortable and bathroom a dream: fabulous to take a shower surrounded by stunning marble. The room has 5 mini balconies which means you also have a view onto the magical park in front of the door which is used by many locals and is very calming. The breakfast is à la carte and delicious. The front desk was always super helpful and also recommending great things to do or where to eat. Can't recommend enough to stay here and need to return asap.

everything was perfect!

Previous reviews led me to expect high standards and I was not disappointed. The location was peaceful but convenient, as trams, buses nd the metro were a short walk away. The kiosk in the garden square outside was a favourite way to start the evening with a small beer and a buzzing atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. All the staff spoke perfect English and were happy to help in any way they could, including directions and a fairly last minute reservation for a perfectly chosen restaurant on our last night (a very busy Saturday). Breakfast was a highlight of the day, all dishes were expertly cooked, delicious and visually stunning.. if we return to Lisbonon, we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

There was nothing we didn't like.

It's a beautiful hotel and a lovely place to stay. The garden square outside is gorgeous and you are walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The staff were exceptional, very welcoming and helpful. Delicious breakfast and great bar. There are not many hotels of this standard in Lisbon so if you're looking for the best but without the impersonal nature of the big chains, then this is for you.

A small suggestion, but the lights on the aircondlting unit and it's control panel are incredibly bright and lit up the room at night when trying to sleep. Perhaps there is a way to turn these down. If not - bring an eye mask!

This hotel is very well situated, in a quiet area near a beautiful park and very near to two metro stations, Rato and Marques de Pombal. The rooms are beautiful, clean and simple but elegant, and bathrooms are perfect. (The shower is just the best). We received a very warm welcome by reception staff and check in and check out was quick. Our breaksfasts were good, but could offer more vegan options, but was happy that the coffees were served with plant based milks. The outside area for breakfast is just perfect, unique and calm. Will definetely be returning here on my next visit to Lisbon.

The breakfast was great with several hot meal offerings. Very professional staff. We loved the location of the hotel on a tree-lined street across from Jardim das Amoreiras. It had a nice, neighborhood feel and was very quiet in the evening. We liked having tea or a drink in the quaint courtyard in the late afternoon. Location was good and a healthy walk to Parque Eduardo VII and Av. de Liberdade. I was attacted to the property as it is a small, luxury hotel.

The light in the room was a bit dim and we could have used a little more space for luggage stands.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. We received a very warm welcome from the reception staff who were steadfast in their desire to help each day. We always felt welcomed and important! Some highlights: - Beautiful decor throughout the property - Very comfortable beds - Amazing marble bathroom and toiletries - Location, ideal for us as we like to be out of the fray. Easy walk or no.24 tram from the centre of town. Lovely park and kiosk across the road too - The chocolate cake served in the lovely courtyard! We didn’t manage it but we would recommend a drink in the bar pre dinner

Two minor bits of feedback: - Breakfast could have been larger portion wise but nice options (especially the fruit) and ample enough - Robes in every room. Slippers were great though

Breakfast was outstanding. The hotel offers a full selection of healthy options with fresh local ingredients prepared to order. Presentation is excellent. The staff were exceptional. We stayed 5 days and by day three they were anticipating our orders as soon as we arrived. You can tell the entire team cares about your food and experience. The dining room is beautiful. The hotel is directly across from a lovely local park and a few minutes to the Metro. An excellent small luxury hotel recently completed with excellent staff in every role. A great experience. Comfortable bed in a beautiful quiet room. We loved it so much we are returning in two weeks for another night at the end of our trip to Portugal. Congratulations to Pedro, Maria, and the entire team for offering a consistently first rate service.

The location and vibe of this hotel is absolutely perfect. it's central enough to walk to the bars, restaurants and beautiful shops in Principe Real, but snuggled in the corner of an absolutely gorgeous tree-filled square, with the stunning remains of the aquaduct towering above, and a pretty perfect little outdoor cafe/wine bar. The hotel itself is designed to perfection - no showy, tacky lights etc, just exquisite, refined materials and furniture, chosen by an expert eye. We kept spotting little details throughout our stay - they have clearly put a lot of thought and care into the design. Our bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in - the sheets and pillows were so good! And we chose a room overlooking the square, which was delightful - just what you want on a European city break. We will be back for sure.

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff lovely, but there seems to be a wee problem with their service system, as people were left waiting for coffees, eggs for too long - they seem to be trying to do a very traditional, precious service, (eg a waiter placed a napkin in front of me using two spoons to hold it, and kept trying to place my coffee cup with the handle in the exact position) whereas a much more relaxed style would maybe suit the place better and make us all more comfortable - staff and customers. The owner was around and chatted to us a few times - a lovely guy, and clearly passionate about his new hotel, so I'm sure he'll smooth out this wee problem in no time.
