Lisbon Serviced Apartments - Liberdade

Great location and great little apartment, just what we needed for 1 night stay with the kids. The whole check-in and codes thing can be a little information overload at first, many instructions to follow, can maybe be simplified, but doesn't take away from the apartment and location.

Checking in procedure, too much information and emails to read and different codes etc. The payment and check-in form is not user friendly and kept having to start over and various cards we used for payment kept being declined, meanwhile the payment went through.

This apartment certainly exceeded our expectations. We booked a 1 bed apartment with 2 sofa beds for our children. They got 2 single beds; one being the sofa and the other a pull out bed but they were proper mattresses so they were happy. The apartment was so comfortable, the kitchen facilities were extensive so you could easily cook if you chose to. It had a dishwasher with 2 cleaning tablets, a coffee maker, kettle and toaster. WiFi was excellent. There is daily housekeeping if you want it. We didn't bother as our luggage was everywhere. It was impeccably clean when we checked in. The location was ideal for sight seeing. We were within 25 mins walk to Barrio Alto and 35-40 mins walk to other areas. The area was quiet and safe at night. We often walked home between 10-11 after dinner. There were also luggage lockers so we could store our bags for a few hours on our last day. Overall, the property was excellent and it gets 5 stars from us.

Very little: the payment in advance was a bit troublesome as secure banking seems to block it. We could hear loud noise from an adjoining apartment but thankfully it was only 1 night and stopped around 1am. It reminded me to always pack my ear plugs.

Location was perfect for me as I didn't want to be directly in city centre. But I could easily walk 20-25 mins to reach Rossio square or Baixa, I had plenty of buses and I also had metro. You can reach this place from airport by metro, just about 30 mins. Apartment was cleaned every day and plenty of bakeries or restaurants around. If you want to buy groceries to make your own meals, you might need to go further away. There is only one mini market in the area. No problems with noise, I think other people in the apartment kept it quiet overall. I loved the way you can fully seal the windows for light and security if you want.

The check-in and check-out process were exceptionally smooth, thanks to their efficient digital system. The attention to cleanliness did not go unnoticed, and it immediately put me at ease. The room itself was spacious, providing ample room to move around comfortably.

While my stay at the hotel was highly enjoyable, I would like to suggest a small improvement to enhance the overall experience. Currently, the appartment provides a coffee machine, but it only offers filtered coffee. It would be a great addition to have a more versatile coffee machine that caters to different preferences, such as espresso or cappuccino. :)

Good amenities and setup of the apartment made it very comfortable.

This is more on booking and operational matter. Booking.com and the property need to streamline payments as the property does not accept AMEX causing some confusion.

We loved the clean apartment (cleaned everyday) with kitchen (complete with plates, glasses, cooking pots), microwave oven, coffee maker and washing machine. It had a quiet location which gave us good sleep, with the apartment close to a Metro station. However, we enjoyed walking down and up the Liberdade area, which goes to Rossio Square (a train station for Sintra and other day trips), Alfama and Barrio. Very accessible. We were near the Christmas Market too, which was a bonus. The no contact check in and check out also worked well. There is a vendo machine in the lobby in case you need drinks, but groceries can be walked too, just be mindful of the closing times. This is a great apartment for families.

To improve may be more caddies in the bathroom. The kitchen cabinet is a bit low, so just be careful when washing dishes.

The apartment is very specious and well organized. We were particularly impressed by the amount of storage which allowed us to store all of our clothing and luggage, keeping the rooms tidy. The daily cleaning service was exceptional. The location only two short blocks from the Marques de Pombal undergound station made travel very convenient and easy.

As has been noted in other reviews, the upper kitchen cabinets completely overhang the low ones. Consequently, it's much to easy to bang one's head against them while using the sink and hob.

Spacious, easy to access with good luggage storage for day of departure. Nearby restaurants and small supermarkets. 5 minute walk to Metro station. When we arrived, 2 of the air conditioners weren't working as the filters needed changing. When we phoned to report, they were fixed that day so we were happy with that.

The wifi wasn't great. It wouldn't work on my iphone X, but did work on my husbands' iphone 6. Message said it was 'insecure'. Not really a problem for us, just used 4G data instead.

Pretty good location. Apartment was roomy.

Check in was difficult - had to park illegally while checking in because I couldn’t get their website to accept my payment for the parking in advance. It took about 15 minutes to get through the registration at the kiosk get my payment made for the parking and I still didn’t have access to the parking. Had to wait to get the code from a staff member who was busy with another client. Plus the cost of the parking was too high - 20 Euro per day - mine was the only car parked there! Also, the cabinet design in the kitchen is terrible - you hit your head on the cabinet whenever you try to access the sink or anything sitting on the counter. And the mattress was uncomfortable - too hard and it had a weird mattress cover on it that crinkled (probably was waterproof).

Convenient location near Marques de Pombal metro station. Big bonus: street is closed off to Rua Braacamp, making Rua Mouzinho da Silveira (apartment entrance) a dead-end street. Result? Very quiet street making our apartment free from traffic noise and very quiet at night. All kitchen appliances worked well, although we didn't use the clothes washer. Bathroom had no issues. Check-out was seamless. Great value for location.

Check-in is online or by machine in the lobby. Check-in process is cumbersome as it requires many numbers (e.g., passport, reservation) for each guest! Near flight path--like many neighborhoods in Lisbon. During rainy weather, take-offs are very noticeable. Keep your windows closed.
