São Vicente Alfama Hotel by TRIUS Hotels

Our stay in Sao Vicente Alfama Hotel was absolutely amazing from all aspects. The facilities were clean, comfortable and stylish and the breakfast offering was second to none with delicious menu options to choose from (omelet, eggs benedict, crepes, pancakes etc) as well as a wide spread of bread, deli meats, cheese, fruit and pastries. Special dietary requirements were also taken into account with gluten and lactose free options available. My fiance and I got engaged during our stay and the hotel perfectly accomondated a surprise for my engagament with champagne, flowers, fruit and chocolates served to our room. We highly appreciated the amazing service throughout our stay and look forward to visiting Lisbon again while staying at Sao Vicente Alfama Hotel.

The location was fantastic, situated in the old town, quiet and peaceful yet less than a minute to several local albeit small and quiet Bars, the restaurant directly across from the hotel was fantastic, the 28 tram stop is within 2 minutes away. The room was spacious and very nicely decorated, a pod coffee machine. The breakfast menu had everything we like and plenty of choice, the selection of meat, cheese, fresh fruit, yoghurt, granola, pastries and bread rolls were all good quality and fresh. If you are looking for a high quality hotel in the old town this is the one!! Finally the hotel offer a free walking tour, book on it the guy who did ours was superb and very informative.

Nothing what so ever, it was a 10 out of 10 !!

The rooms were beautiful and the WiFi was easy. The breakfast is a stunning array of everything you could want for a morning meal. When we arrived, we were greeted with a special amenity acknowledging our anniversary. It was beautiful. The staff are impeccable - a remarkable group of warm and inviting people who were there to make our trip perfect. We loved chit chatting and learning about the area and culture. The location of the hotel is truly special. You feel like you're in on a secret. It was always clean and inviting. I enjoyed sparkling wine upon my arrival and there are daily treats provided in the lobby to enjoy. We had an early morning departure after a consistently incredible week and we were provided with a breakfast box, including the drinks they knew we had every morning at breakfast. Everyone from the lovely customer service experience representatives, check in staff, breakfast hosts, servers, and room care staff were the best of the best. And everyone made us feel like a million bucks.

Everything was perfect….. stylish, clean and lots of lovely luxuries…… Champagne on arrival and a fab cocktail to make in the room. Welcoming and friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. Breakfast was fab, plenty of choice and dishes made to order……the banana pancakes were divine. Great location in Alfama……. fascinating little neighbourhood close to the centre of Lisbon, but just far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle.

Nothing….. everything was perfect!

I loved everything. I know it is a subjective opinion and taste varies, but for me it was perfect. The location, the staff friendliness (and they were also very helpful and always willing to offer an advice), the room was great. I liked the little welcome pack of almond cocktail (if I recall correctly) which you could have done it yourself, and the pastis de nata. The breakfast was simple, but very tasty. I was very surprised to be welcomed with a glass of prosecco. It makes you feel not only welcomed, but also that you are an important guest. I would add also the lovely surprise cake for my birthday, which was top. And last, but not least, the mimosa cocktail for breakfast, that you can make it yourself. I didn't tried it, but that is the greatest idea of something you can offer to guests. It makes you feel like you are living the life and that you are really in vacation. The room was big enough, clean and it has a modern design. The mirror-TV adds a nice touch to the room. One thing I can say from staying at this hotel (btw I stayed 6 nights) is that they are really good at creating an experience for their guests and that I hope they'll continue to offer the same services at the same quality and not water it down over time.

There was nothing I didn't liked.

Ideally located within the intimate confines of the historic Alfama neighborhood, with the Sao Jorge castle, Lisbon Cathedral and famous Miradouros just short walks away. Walk any direction and find unique photo opportunities, shops, and cozy outdoor restaurants. Yet the nights are peacefully quiet, without vehicle or moto noises, allowing an undisturbed rest before continuing sightseeing the next day. We were greeted with a glass of bubbly when we arrived, and assigned a room which was well-appointed and equipped with the most comfortable bed and perfectly sized pillows than could be found in any 4-star hotel. The manager Alfonso and the front desk and restaurant staff were exceptionally attentive, eager to promptly address any issue a guest might encounter.

The hotel is situated about 30m beyond a traffic control bollard, preventing most vehicles from approaching the entrance. But this is a good thing, as authorized taxis can retract the bollard to pick up and drop off guests, keeping the narrow street safe and quiet. So we liked this feature, although it can be inconvenient for guests who are mobility challenged.

we happened to be in the room right by the lobby/check in desk and the street/restaurant next to the hotel. so there was some noise to contend with. recommend requesting a higher room!

From the moment you step into the reception area you feel special. Beautiful hotel with staff providing exceptional customer service. I had indicated I was arriving early and as my room was ready and I could check In early. I was escorted to my room and shown around. Complimentary water and refreshments in the bar fridge as well as a Portuguese wine to enjoy at my leisure and a couple of traditional Portuguese tarts that were absolutely lovely were also provided. Room was immaculate and great bathroom. Breakfast staff kept the customer service level at a premium and many options to chose from. I like that the cooked options were a small serve however others may be a little surprised, there were plenty of other options to top up including the home made Granola. Great location to some of the known tourist sites of Alfama Overall an exceptional visit.

Everything! The hotel is beautiful. The room has everything you need and is very modern, classy and everywhere is spotless! The staff are amazing very attentive and helpful. We booked last minute due to our previous hotel being very noisy with the festival but this hotel is tucked away so no noise - it's very quiet and peaceful!

It's in the Alfama area tucked away behind narrow bendy streets - do you need to be fit to walk to and from there to get to the main parts of Lisbon or you can get tram/taxi. It's a lovely area and very authentic. But be warned it's quite difficult to get to - we liked this as then it's quiet and away from the chaos but some may not!

- very nice modern hotel with everything you need - nice and helpful employees who also give you great tips on what to see in the city based on your preferences - good location, we walked all the time, metro is like 7 minutes walking, and the walk is down the hill ;) - breakfast was great, you order main dish and do example coffee and as a bonus there are also tablet filled with fruit, granola, ham, cheese, bread, juice, etc. - as a bonus you have coffee machine in the room and also recipe for special drink with all the ingredients - close around are restaurants and stores
