Apartamentos Honorio - Pool and Garden

first time at Honorio so not sure what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised. the apartment was very clean, very spacious with a large outside area with table/chairs for 6 - has a brick built barbeque too and the TV had pretty much all channels from back home! the pool area was lovely and while i was there they put up new glass/perspex barrier round the perimeter to keep wind off it and brand new sun beds - there is a massive large screen TV at the pool with music channels during the day and often football in evenings - great quality picture for it being outside really nice quiet location but only just over 20 mins downhill walk to Vilamoura marina and 10 mins to beach at Quarteira overall, excellent value for money - would definitely stay again and recommend to others (and i'm pretty fussy about where i stay :) )

The staff were friendly and really helpful especially Lucas who was fantastic especially as we arrived very late in the evening. The whole place was clean and tidy and the pool was especially sparkling the guy who looks after it was meticulous in his work. The food was very good too and always served by staff who were friendly and helpful. Good value too especially compared with other local restaurants. The apartment itself had everything you could want and was comfortable. It even had really good WiFi and TV with all sky sports and English channels!

Mosquitos! Not much the staff or anyone can do about them but if I stay again I will bring adequate protection from the little blighters! I would have liked different pillows as the ones in the room were small (length) but deep which I found a little uncomfortable but it's a minor niggle

Lucas at the reception was so kind and helpful. The apartment was very spacious, with all the necessary equipment included. The bedrooms were large, with a lot of storage space and the beds were so comfortable. The apartment and grounds were cleaned to a high standard. Really enjoyed our stay here. Also, each apartment has its own wifi box which we thought was brilliant.

Poor access without Uber or similar to vilamoura marina Pool attendant did not enforce rules against people leaving towels at opening time on sun loungers and then disappearing most of the day leaving others without a sun bed - encouraged lots to queue at opening and then leaving

Such friendly and attentive staff. Victor and Tatiana were amazing hosts and so helpful with advice. The pool was huge and really clean with a lifeguard on duty. Food at Salt restaurant onsite was lovely and the cappuccinos were top notch too. The location is a little bit out of the way but the peace and quiet was ideal as we were travelling with our three children, including an 11 month old. Everyone slept v well! We will definitely return!

The location is slightly out of the way but a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi ride can take you to the busier areas with restaurants/bars etc.

Pool area was lovely. Balcony/terrace of apartment was excellent and spacious. Nice sized apartment. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bedrooms were lovely and the bed was comfortable. Saxophone player was great as evening entertainment.

Kitchen and bathroom were fine but a little jaded. Bed linen and pillows were clean but worn out and need to be replaced. Some of the evening entertainment ( the male singer) was not great. Not enough staff at pool bar. Overall I feel the accommodation was a little overpriced at approx €2,300 for a two bed apartment for the week. If it had been 10-15% less there would be no issue.

We had a fantastic family holiday here to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. The staff went out of their way to help make the day a special occasion and the pool/restaurant made for the perfect setting. The accommodation was simple, comfortable and served our family's needs well. All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout and the food and entertainment were great. The grounds and pool area were beautifully well-kept. Tatiana, Rudi, Luis, Mr Imoto and Vitor all were particularly warm and did a great job. Thank you!

The location was a 20minute walk to and from the beach - worth bearing in mind if you're holidaying with young children. We hired a car and parking facilities were cheap and plentiful wherever we went so not an issue for us on this occasion.

Didn't clean apartments regularly which resulted in ants invading but when I asked to get it cleaned it was no problem. Pillows were not too comfortable. Location wasn't really near anything, 15 to 20 mins to the beach/quarteria and 25 to 30 walk to the marina

Loved the complex. Nice little oasis feel with lovely swimming pool and bar seating. Plenty of sunbeds. Staff all very friendly. Didn't need anything but felt Vitto would have been very helpful. Also liked the pool music r&b session. We missed the evening artist Saturday...as early flight but again seemed good atmosphere around pool and nice change.

Also saw cockroach as going bed like few others mentioned so seems to be an issue.. Deffo puts you on edge.... Bar set up was convenient but did feel waited ages for a drink even when not busy.... As with most similar complexes bit out way. Would recommend uber app....quick cheap and finds you everywhere you are no problem.

Everything - Honório is a hidden paradise well worth a visit. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Vitor and Tatiana were exceptional, so kind and friendly and made us feel right at home and their presence throughout the day made everyone feel like part of the family. The two bedroom apartment was laid out, excellent sat TV and Wi-Fi facilities and a hop skip and a jump to the pool. The pool bar-restaurant is outstanding and immaculately kept. Pool not too deep, loads of variety in seating arrangements, great atmosphere and the pool bar menu was brilliant value for money. I cannot recommend Honório highly enough and we will defo return as a family of 5 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

We cannot fault the property, the staff, the prices or the family that run the complex. It was exceptional
