Hilton Vilamoura

Hotel was clean, bright and comfy. Often at this time of year the facilities are limited. But this was not the case. Breakfast was excellent, wide selection and fresh, bar area was nice, accommodating, good food and drinks. Excellent cocktails. Had an upgrade and the suite was lovely. Option of daily housekeeping was appreciated, this has been lacking in our country. The spa was fab and my husband took the black week deal. Loved the relaxation areas.

One evening a group took over the bar area which felt a little selfish. We felt uncomfortable being there and unwelcome. This was only one evening of 4. So we didn't complain.

We went over just for a couple of days visiting a poor relative and I chose the hotel for the location nearby. It exceeded my expectations - it was clean very spacious tidy and lovely staff. We arrived early but they gave us a room that was perfect. Really clean, amazing staff couldn't be more helpful and the staff throughout in the bar, the restaurant at breakfast and Sandra at the Spa was so kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay on what was a difficult trip. Thank you so much to all the staff for such a warm welcome and what a well run hotel - Well Done!

Beautiful renovation to the bedrooms. Our room was perfect for our family - had connecting rooms so children were close but had their own space too. Everything really clean and housekeeping were thorough. Amazing breakfast which was replenished constantly. Pool area was perfect and didn't feel too busy - I imagine it will be a lot busier during peak times. Kids loved the games room too. We used the kids club which the children enjoyed - shame there weren't many kids there, maybe guests don't know about it and it's a bit pricey? Spa was lovely we used with the children between 10am & 11am. Staff we all super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and will definitely be going back soon!

Pools were great with plenty of comfortable sun beds - could be more areas for those wishing to sit in the shade but otherwise very good. Cocktails served in the bar were excellent and really friendly and helpful staff throughout.

It was a bit of a walk from the main centre of Vilamoura Marina (approx 30 minutes each way). They do lay on a shuttle but it finished quite early in the evening.

The staff were absolutely outstanding. Cannot praise them enough. All the food including breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return. We also thought the hotel complementary bus to the port and the beach was very reliable and a wonderful extra touch. We requested a room close to our friends which the hotel accommodated and we got upgrade to a pool view. We were travelling without our children so we loved the “romantic pool” that was for adults only.

We couldn’t fault one thing. The staff went above and beyond our expectations.

The biggest asset this hotel has is its staff, who are professional courteous and extremely helpful. Other than staff, there are many 'little touches' that made our stay quite special, including the complimentary bottle of fizzy wine in the fridge and the beautiful boxed cake to welcome the new year. Breakfast is excellent, lots of choice, fresh fruit, yogurts, cheeses, salads, breads, pastries and the option of having a breakfast cooked to your particular needs and choice. Although our stay coincided with the Omicron outbreak, we felt 100% safe - top marks for hygiene and adherence to public health guidance. The fireworks display on NYE was superb.

It is difficult to identify anything we didn't like about this hotel. NYE was a little flat in the bar (lacking in atmosphere) but the fireworks display at midnight more than made up for this.

Everything is in this resort. Couple of minutes away from the Marina via Uber-less than 5mins travel time. Hotel is very clean. Near Faro airport- 30mins away via Uber. As for the spa, deep tissue massage was relaxing, facilities were great!

I hope the breakfast has a variety of food every other day. We stayed here for 5 days and the food was all the same (bacon,egg,sausage)

Everything about our stay was perfect. The hotel is beautiful and is kept immaculate. Staff were super helpful and accommodating, especially at breakfast as I have some food intolerances. The spa is also worth a visit- we had the Zen Massage and it was exceptional We travelled as two young women, looking for a relaxing mini break and I would 100% recommend. We made good use of the free hotel shuttle service into the marina and felt very safe as a result. I would love to come back in the future, perhaps with my partner, because it also seems great for couples!

The only thing we would have liked is an extra shuttle back to the hotel at 10pm. The last one was at 9pm when we stayed. I'm not sure if this has already been trialled and was not busy enough, or maybe was not offered when we stayed (early March) because it was the off season. Everything else was fantastic!

We upgraded to a suite due to it being myself and my adult son and were expecting two separate beds in the one area and a separate lounge area but we basically got 2 interconnecting rooms, one with a double bed and the other with a single bed and couch which is not what we were expecting or thought we were paying the extra cost for which was very disappointing and not worth the additional cost. From previous experience to a 5 star hotel a suite normally consists of a sleeping area and a separate lounge area.

Due to a canceled flight, we arrived one night later at 1 a.m. and we lost practically 2 nights. The hotel did not agree to adjust the price, instead they offered us an upgrade. Basically, we were offered an apartment that we paid in reality at the normal price. The apartment was spacious but very dark. A bit disappointed, as we expected more empathy.
